31/03/2025: Unforgettable experience in a negative sense... starting with the environment we had dinner in the underground room where there was a rather annoying musty smell; the service did not reflect our expectations as the boy who served us was highly irritated at our requests; we went out to smoke and to find a bin we had to keep the butts in our pockets and then throw them in the bathroom; in short, for what we paid, we would have expected a service that was up to par. I gave 2 stars only for the pizza, which was very good.

20/12/2024: The place is nice and the pizza is good. The type of pizza is Neapolitan: thin in the center and puffy on the edge. It costs right.

11/04/2025: Felt immediately unwelcome when they understood I don't speak italian. They did not make any effort to communicate in english. I showed them that I don't understand Italian and they just kept speaking Italian. Shame..

10/04/2025: Lovely, stylish café/bistro on a quiet side street in the middle of Mantua. Very good cappuccino and croissants. There are also pastries and snacks. You can sit comfortably outside. Dogs allowed. Very friendly staff. Gladly again. (April 2025)

17/04/2025: Family lunch in this apparently simple place, but with truly elevated cuisine. We tried everything: the starters were of the highest quality and very abundant, the first courses were delicious and the meat was spectacular. I highly recommend.

11/03/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant on Friday evening. Thanks to Lent, we chose to eat "lean" by taking a mix of appetizers. This is the menu: Tuna carpaccio Sliced ​​tuna Clams soutè Mussels peppered Creamed cod with polenta (then ordered a second time because it was delicious) Grilled calamari Pike at Rivaltese Scallops au gratin Raw scallops Scampi and prawns All of the highest quality and accompanied by a few bottles of a delicious Ancestrale Rosé… In the end 3 of the 5 of us ordered dessert. We were very satisfied, both with the quality of the products and the service. Very honest price.

30/01/2025: We tasted an excellent pizza in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, super friendly service and very attentive to detail. Clean place, excellent prices and no annoying waiting. I highly recommend the fried fish: delicious and cooked perfectly. Sonia's homemade desserts are fantastic. Super nice owners

29/01/2025: Abbiamo degustato un ottima pizza in un' atmosfera calda e accogliente, servizio super gentile e molto attento ai particolari. Locale pulito, prezzi ottimi e nessuna fastidiosa attesa. Consiglio vivamente il fritto di pesce : buonissimo e cotto perfettamente. I dolci fatti in casa da Sonia sono fantastici. Proprietari super simpatici

30/10/2023: Capitata per caso con i miei genitori. Un tuffo nel passato. Una bella famiglia ad accoglierci che ci ha fatto accomodare. Abbiamo scelto i tortelli di zucca, sapore antico..mia nonna era di Quistello..ho riconosciuto dopo tanti anni quel gusto unico che sa di cucina vera e genuina..pochi fronzoli ma tanta sostanza....noi ci siamo trovati bene

03/11/2024: I don't know if it was an evening No but the pizzas were good Yes but nothing special compared to what relatives had told me. The only note: when rolling out the pizza, a part of the dough had been cut with scissors, most likely because it was too big and the pizza might not have fit into the box. Well the cut part of the dough was not removed and I had a piece of cut cornice with a flap dangling. Nettle cream ok except that all my pizza stuck to the cardboard in the central part... Last thing, I had customized the pizza from the site without tomato (semi-wholemeal dough costing 3.50, I didn't start with the margherita)... it had tomato. I understand that churning out so many pizzas isn't easy, but sometimes you need a little more attention for the product that then goes to the final consumer. Apart from all this, I repeat the pizza is ok but seeing the photos of the pizzas and comparing them with the ones we prepared there was a lot of difference. It's an ok village pizzeria. This was OUR experience.

The beautiful lava stone tables with floral and citrus designs immerse you in an atmosphere far from the Po Valley mists and project you into warm Sicily, as do the staff, who are very welcoming and attentive to the customer. We ordered a FIORENTINA AND A TAGLIATA, very good for meat lovers, but if you are very hungry, the portion of the cut is "right". The Sicilian CASSATA was also sublime. Without candied fruit, I didn't ask why. Tip:It's a shame to cover the tables with paper placemat. You could just put a paper or rather cloth napkin on which to place the cutlery.

Il personale è stato estremamente cortese e attento a ogni nostra esigenza, rendendo l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Consiglio vivamente di provarlo, sicuramente tornerò!

23/02/2025: Menù ristretto ma mangiato bene, servizio cortese e giusto nei tempi. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo! Nota positivissima: il vino che avevamo scelto non era disponibile seppur in carta. Il gestore ci ha consigliato vino analogo, lasciando invariato il prezzo (costava qualche euro in più).

05/02/2025: Pranzo della domenica con 4 amiche più il mio bimbo sul passeggino. Abbiamo ordinato: 3 antipasti da dividere (baccalà fritto con salsa di verdure e flan di zucchine su fonduta al parmigiano) 3 primi e 1 secondo (pappardelle al sugo d’anatra, maccheroncini al torchio e coscia d’anatra con cipolla caramellata) 2 dolci da dividere (bignolata con zabaione e millefoglie) Acqua e mezzo litro di vino della casa. Abbiamo speso 25€ a testa. Location tipicamente da osteria in ottima posizione, vicinissima al centro città. Abbiamo mangiato molto molto bene! Le mie pappardelle erano eccezionali, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, ci tornerò sicuramente.
