29/10/2025: We often come here for aperitivo. The food is very good, the atmosphere is pleasant, clean, and the staff are very friendly. We'll gladly return. Highly recommended.

06/11/2025: The waiter was gruff and incompetent, the pizza was frozen, and the beer was sour. Overall, it was the worst choice of the day. The only positive was the Montenegro cicchetto. I highly recommend it for anyone passing through Viadana.

08/11/2025: Seven promised pizzas, never arriving at the table, an hour vanished in the subdued time. In the oven, perhaps, or in a dream, you remain not dinner, but a mockery you served us.

07/11/2025: I attended a wedding a month ago, and the second half of the event was very disappointing. There wasn't enough food for everyone, many guests didn't eat the cake, and during the break, there was only water to drink. This wasn't what they'd agreed upon. It was a shame to witness this, because the venue was worth it.

13/10/2025: An extremely disappointing experience. We had contacted this villa to organize our company dinner: after a month and a half of contacting, exchanging emails, and even an on-site inspection, they had given us full availability. Unfortunately, only at the last minute—and only because I called personally to confirm—we were informed that they could no longer host us. No communication from them, no clarity, and above all, a complete lack of respect for the time and effort we had put into organizing. This unprofessional behavior put us in a very difficult position. It's a shame, because the place seemed truly suitable, but the management was terrible.

06/05/2025: Dopo 40 anni che siamo clienti, delusi dai prezzi raddoppiati e un servizio scadente, mai successo come ripeto da clienti per oltre 40 anni. Abbiamo festeggiato matrimoni, battesimi, comunioni, compleanni e portato numerosi amici e conoscenti come nuova clientela, alla quale gireremo il nostro disappunto. Per ultimo 2 antipasti semplici 40 EURO. E chiudo peccato !

05/05/2025: Questo ristorante è davvero carino, sia nei suoi spazi interni, sia nel cortile. Cibo molto buono, servizio veloce, piano bar per nulla "invadente", e conto perfetto. Torneremo sicuramente :-)

08/11/2025: My partner and I only went for dinner; we had a great meal and excellent value. The menu, in addition to traditional dishes, includes unusual options. The Celtic atmosphere is relaxing. Mr. Carlo is a very kind and timeless man who provided attentive service and made us feel right at home. The rune reading at the end of the meal was also captivating. The liqueurs are also excellent. The only improvement, in my opinion, would be some background music. It's a very interesting and quaint place that we recommend.

29/10/2025: Let me start by saying I'm only talking about the RESTAURANT. I returned to this place after twenty years, with a heart full of memories and the curiosity to see it again after the restoration following the 2012 earthquake. Unfortunately, along with the ravages of time, the magic that made it unique seems to have faded: once upon a time, it was said to be inhabited by a ghost, a discreet presence that added charm and mystery to evenings. Today, no trace or charm remains of that tale. The cuisine remains good and authentic, strongly rooted in popular tradition, with an interesting use of hemp in many dishes. The service is simple, friendly, yet attentive, with just the right amount of attention and friendliness. Nestled in the heart of the Mantua countryside, right next to the Secchia River, the place maintains a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere, but has unfortunately lost the enchanting aura that made it truly special twenty years ago.

05/10/2025: Visited on the occasion of Libri sotto i portici, excellent tavern, very kind staff and really very good food, highly recommended the Tortelli alla tartarella (saffron and sausage) and the Beef stew (off the menu)

20/09/2025: Honestly, I expected more. I'd already heard about this place and thought the food was good. I got a chicken burger, and it was raw. At the cashier, I was asked if everything was okay, and when I complained about what had happened, the guy seemed genuinely sorry and intent on offering a small discount. Spoiler: VERY SMALL: 0.10 cents 😂 But he did give us a 10% voucher "for the next time you come." Not to mention the almost €3 cover charge, with the paper menu as a placemat and hot drinks. Sorry, I'll give the voucher to someone else.

19/09/2025: The food would have deserved 4 stars, but given the wait times, I'm giving it 3; the service was adequate, but the staff was noticeably understaffed.

09/11/2025: I go there during my lunch break to eat and I have to say that the service is very courteous and efficient, the food is of good quality and varied.

30/10/2025: I called to make a reservation, and the receptionist, a woman I dare say unbalanced, attacked me, once saying she had a room, then saying she didn't have a room for me, hanging up on me... Is this how you treat a customer??? I remind you, my dear receptionist, that customers should not be treated this way. You lack manners and good manners! Remember, you are paid to do your job, but perhaps you misunderstood and are turning people away! I advise the manager to have his receptionist evaluated by a mental health specialist to see if she is capable of performing her duties adequately!

07/12/2025: Good ice cream on Saturdays and Sundays, very crowded in summer, normal in winter.

18/10/2025: The ice cream is the best in Mantua and the girls are beautiful and kind. 😃👏🏻
