Japanese restaurant near Porta Cerese in Mantua, simple yet elegant atmosphere, good, well-prepared food, and fast service. Parking nearby isn't very large. Worth a try.

I'm a huge sushi fan. I'll start by saying that I travel a lot, so I've tried quite a few: I wouldn't return to this place. Why? I found the salmon tartare completely squashed and soaked in sauce, with nothing left of the shape. The fish in the osomaki and uramaki wasn't particularly fresh, in my opinion; and when I ordered the nigiri, there were two inches of hard, cold rice, so I basically had to cut the rice in half to enjoy the slice of fish—which was completely tasteless and very pale. I feel sorry for the people who work there, because they're very nice people. However, I wouldn't recommend it due to the quality of the food.

The food quality was excellent, but the dining room staff was surprisingly super kind, friendly, and professional, with a touch of humanity and passion for the dining room. Congratulations again. We will definitely be back.

20/04/2026: Highly recommended, excellent food, with dishes unlike anything else in this restaurant. Excellent and fast service. The atmosphere is very quaint and quiet. I was also satisfied with the bill. Lunch on Saturday was €30 per person, including drinks.

08/04/2026: We hadn't been to this place for years due to a change of residence, but the craving for udon convinced us to make the trip. It was absolutely worth the trip! The dishes are truly well-made and the ingredients are excellent. The service is truly excellent, which for us was another priority because we were regulars and were recognized ;) The place has remained the same small and welcoming. Just one piece of advice: adjust the tartare; at the moment the pieces are too large; it would be better to make a finer battuto.
