04/02/2025: Locale in cui passo la pausa pranzo in modo assiduo ormai da mesi. Personale cordiale e con quel pizzico di spirito che migliora la giornata ma anche professionale e serio. Cibo ottimo, dai primi piatti fino ai panini e alle pizze. Se devo trovare un pelo nell’uovo posso dire che le attese, a volte, sono un po’ lunghe, soprattutto se si ha poco tempo per via della sola ora di pausa. È assolutamente il miglior modo per passare un’ora, bravi!

02/06/2025: We went to this restaurant a few days ago, attracted by the convenient location for those walking the Viandante path between Lecco and Abbadia (currently closed due to a landslide). From the outside the place looks promising, with an outdoor space that has good potential. But unfortunately the positive impression stopped there. From the menu we realized that it was a very touristy place: a long list of appetizers, first courses, second courses and pizzas, but no trace of the Lombard cuisine that we expected to find. We ordered several first courses and we received pasta in bianco, topped with sauces that seemed to have come out of a jar and simply poured on top. Not even in the canteen do they serve such anonymous and poorly prepared dishes. The coffee? Terrible. It seemed like dirty water. To make the experience worse, the bottle of water was served to us with a visibly dirty cap. Another discordant note was the behavior of the restaurateur: courteous with customers sitting at the tables, but rather surly with travelers who approached only to ask for information. We will not return. We leave two stars only for the location, which has potential, but the quality of the food and service need to be completely revised.

21/05/2025: My wife and I spent a night in this hotel restaurant in the center of Barzio, very nice, clean and with very kind and helpful staff. The room on the third floor had an exceptional view of Grigna. Abundant breakfast. On the day of our departure we received a huge gift and had lunch based on delicious pizzoccheri. Highly recommended.

02/05/2025: Ritirato dopo anni… Non delude nuovamente anzi per il pranzo con gli amici abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, piatti gustosi abbondanti ma soprattutto buoni. Abbiamo iniziato cn un bel piatto di slinzega con gli sciat, questi ultimi rispetto a quelli che si mangiano in Valtellina sono tanto delicati forse perché è più predominante il pane rispetto ai classici ma attenzione ciò non vuole dire che non siano buoni.. diversi ma buoni. Casoncelli ripieni di cervo con guanciale croccante e spolverata di pecorino, Consigliato!!!! Brasato con polenta taragna.. saporito il giusto non eccessivo, un bel piatto.. 😀. Pranzo da rifare. Se si va a Bario per non si può non andare in questo ristorante. Personale presente il giusto mai in maniera eccessivo. Prezzo corretto!!

16/05/2025: Everything is very well cared for, from the environment to the food. The staff is attentive and discreet. The use of books as "carriers" of the menu underlines and highlights the analogy between the writings of authors of well-recognized value that nourish the mind and soul, with the descriptions of the dishes in the Menu that nourish the other senses at our disposal. The lighting of the tables is also particular. Lamps that come down on the tables to below the line of the diners' eyes. Lamps that support other books. Reminder to reading and respectful of the eyes. They leave a perfect soft halo that does not bother the eyes and at the same time illuminate and make the food on the plates stand out. Everything harmonious. A place to definitely return to.

Quick service in a crotto environment but the dishes are well cared for by the kitchen; the pastas are al dente and the sauces delicious; even the fish from the lake is worth trying. Narrow road to get there but you can find a place somewhere.

23/05/2025: Restaurant with spectacular views. About a 30 minute walk from Varenna, the food we had was delicious, professionally presented and the service was very pleasant. Highly recommended!

05/04/2025: Location spettacolare e servizio di alto livello. Cucina al top con alcuni piatti da stella Michelin, uno su tutti l'antipasto di lago a base di lavarello. Trovato per caso è andato oltre le nostre aspettative. Consigliato per una serata speciale, da passare in relax totale senza badare troppo al conto finale, comunque proporzionato

Dalla cucina Gianfry e il suo staff vi sapranno far godere di un pasto eccezionale, e non potete assolutamente perdervi i dolci che Francy prepara con amore ogni giorno. Insomma, fatevi accogliere dal sorriso di Sara e non perdetevi l'occasione di mangiare al Cigno: prendetevi il tempo per assaporare ogni piatto, ne vale la pena.

25/04/2025: Oggi 25 aprile 2025 siamo andati a pranzare in questo ristorante per un compleanno. È stato tutto ottimo. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti molto buoni, pesce alla griglia, frittura di pesce e linguine allo scoglio. Il pesce è di qualità, accompagnato da un buon vino bianco della casa. Il personale molto attento, gentile e simpatico. Ve lo consiglio vivamente. Rapporto qualità/prezzo nella norma.

11/05/2025: A wonderful experience. The brand new menu offered simple and refined dishes, with balanced savours and beautiful plating. The indoor dining room is terrace closed bay a huge window wall, looking into the Lake Como, with a view on the city of Lecco and the surrounding mountains.

10/05/2025: Very nice restaurant, elegant environment with breathtaking views. There are several rooms, all very pleasant, which overlook a balcony/view of the lake and Lecco. In the evening it is lovely. We had dinner for 2, an appetizer of crispy egg and cod, the egg was very good as an encore, the cod good, two first courses, a cacio e pepe and a spaghetton with sardines, both excellent and tasty dishes. Adequate quantities, fair prices. We tasted two citrus and berry desserts, both very good and tasty! Friendly, courteous and even friendly service. The bill is adequate for the quality and location. We will definitely be back!

19/05/2025: This is our favorite place in Colico. We went there for lunch on Sunday and were very satisfied. The appetizer of cured meats and cheeses was excellent, as were the sliced ​​tuna with pistachios and the sliced ​​Angus steak. We drank a good white wine “Terre lariane” and, reluctantly because we were already full, we gave up dessert. The experience in this place is always very positive both for the speed of service, for the availability and kindness of the staff and last but not least for the location right on the lake.
