We arrived at 10pm and they served us with a smile, kindness, and good food. We recommend Pizzoccheri del Crott. You've never eaten them like this, trust me, it's written on the menu and they're right.

The road to get to this place is quite winding, but it is absolutely worth it. Wonderful place! The staff is super helpful and friendly, you feel pampered. The food was truly divine: there were 4 of us and we tried the sciatt, the risotto with goat gorgonzola, the pizzoccheri, the tagliolini with game ragù and for dessert the chocolate salami, the local yogurt and the apple pie. Honest prices and magnificent location. There is a parking lot near the structure. Pet friendly

Very nice place, surrounded by greenery, typical restaurant, but well-kept, pleasant atmosphere, friendly and kind managers. Very well cooked food, very good pizzoccheri, simple desserts, but really excellent.

Restaurant très excentré en pleine nature tout en haut de Varennes, en y arrive après pas mal de virages. La décoration est rustique et agréable. Le service est aimable et la carte appétissante. Le risotto est très bon. Le choix de dessert est très limité en fait il y en a qu'un. Les prix sont corrects.

We hiked to Crott del Meo and really enjoyed the authentic and tasty food stop. It was good and welcoming in all simplicity. We love it.

Nuova gestione del Crotto. I due fratelli che gestiscono il crotto hanno un'alta attenzione al cliente. La cucina è tipica ma ricercata, con ottima scelta della materia prima a km0. Nulla da eccepire sia sulla cucina che sul servizio. Prezzo in linea con la qualità. Posto assolutamente consigliato!

29/04/2025: My wife and I go to this restaurant quite often when we go to visit a friend of ours who lives in the area. We're going there for lunch. The restaurant is medium in size, with a beautiful outdoor terrace. It is clean and the staff is friendly. Coming to the kitchen, you can find a bit of everything, even if they present themselves as a hamburger restaurant. So the hamburger sandwiches are excellent, but upon request they will also prepare sandwiches of your choice, if they have the ingredients available, in addition to the sandwiches on the menu. The last time I had a tagliatelle with mushrooms which was really worth it, while my wife had a nice plate of gnocchi with four cheeses. The pizza is also good and there is a wide choice, but the dough is a little heavy to digest. Excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended!!!
