Perfect dinner: superb fried seafood (very tender, perfectly cooked), exquisite crostini with fish pâté, delicate and refreshing broccoli. With a surprising anchovy meatball as an entree. The wine he recommended was excellent, as always. A pleasant experience every time we return.

I dined at this small restaurant in Pescarenico (a hamlet of Lecco along the Adda River) with my husband on a Friday evening. The place is simple—two small rooms attached to the fish shop of the same name—but clean, bright, and well-maintained. The menu is also quite limited, focusing heavily on lake fish (rightfully so, given its location) and changes depending on the season, the catch, etc. We had a full dinner, sampling the mussels with pepper, pasta with gurnard sauce, missoltini with polenta—a local and local classic—the buillabesse, and the tiramisu to finish. The dishes were all to our liking; we noted the freshness and quality of the ingredients, the delicacy of the cooking (no garlic in the fish), and the excellence of the missoltini, which, as we were later told, are still caught and prepared personally by the grandfather of the restaurant's manager/owner. The service deserves special mention, not only for its kindness and attentiveness, but also for the young manager's great expertise and passion. He shares his knowledge with customers, particularly regarding wine (but also beer, spirits, and sipping wines), whether it's a glass, a bottle, or a post-dinner drink, explaining its characteristics and provenance. It's truly a pleasure to exchange opinions with him! The price paid for all this seemed more than fair, so we'll definitely be back—perhaps to also try the fish and/or deli items offered during regular business hours—and we'll enthusiastically recommend it!

A wonderful discovery, centrally located but with convenient parking nearby. Friendly staff, fast and efficient service. The wine list manager is very knowledgeable, passionate, and knowledgeable. We arrived without a reservation and were fortunate enough to sample carpione and lake pâté, along with mixed fried fish of lake paranza and bleak. Everything was truly delicious. The price was in line with the quality. Takeout is also available.
