22/03/2026: The location is beautiful, but it's poorly managed. (In the mountains, you'd expect a mountain menu, not pasta with meat sauce.)

22/03/2026: Reached on foot in an intense hour and a half from Civate, beautiful views, beautiful woods, no exposed sections, and much of the trail is in the shade. I arrived at 3:30 PM and they were kind enough to offer me a platter and wine since the kitchen was closed and they were cleaning up.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the food, drinks, or service — because we never got the chance to try them. My wife and I were visiting beautiful Varenna and decided to sit down at this bar to enjoy the view. However, the bartender was incredibly unwelcoming and told us we couldn't sit at the table we had chosen — without giving any clear reason. We asked about another table, and again were told no, for no understandable explanation. The overall attitude was so unpleasant that we left and found a lovely bar just across the street, where the staff was kind, the drinks were great, and we actually felt welcome. To this place — we wish you the best of luck… though with that kind of tourist-trap attitude, we hope people choose better. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, drinks or service — because we never had the chance to try them. 08/04/2026: Very nice restaurant, the owner is a really nice person and an excellent hostess. We celebrated my son's 18th birthday...and everything was truly perfect.... Thank you! I highly recommend this place to everyone.

06/09/2025: A pleasant place for a drink or dinner right on the harbor. I got plenty of snacks with my drink, the service was incredibly friendly, the view of the surfers and boats was amazing, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

20/03/2026: Business lunch: €15 per person, but I didn't like any of the dishes. The pasta all'Amatriciana was missing tomato, and the guanciale was undercooked and tough (in chunks and with rind). The vitello tonnato was good and well-cooked, but the sauce seemed like pure mayonnaise smeared on top (as if no other ingredients were used: tuna, capers, and anchovies). The baked potatoes were tasty, but far too salty and a bit burnt. It used to be a historic restaurant for good food, but now, unfortunately, we didn't like it. Since there's not much space in the dining room, perhaps the center table, with its ornaments and an old radio on it, could be removed to create some space between the somewhat crowded diners, or to move someone to that table and widen the space between the other tables.

24/02/2026: I've been wanting to see this old trattoria for a while now... I finally made it, and I have to say I was very pleased! The food is simple but authentic; the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is typical of a trattoria... I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to step back in time! TOP 👍🏻

12/11/2025: Coffee and a croissant, €2.90 wasted! The croissant looked like it came from a supermarket, and not fresh. It's a shame, because when I returned the next day, the barista assured me they bring them fresh every morning. The coffee wasn't as hot as it should be. I definitely won't be returning. It's a shame, because the location is convenient and next to the hospital.

14/02/2026: Terrible home delivery service. I called at 12:00 PM to book a delivery for the evening, and they told me to call back after 1:30 PM. I called back at 1:32 PM, "The line is busy," or if it's free, no one answers! If you deliver in the evening, the wait times are insane!

20/09/2025: After a walk on the bike path, we met a couple who recommended this restaurant. Upon our arrival, the owners were very kind and helpful, even with our little dog. We had pizza, which was very good, and a slice of homemade apple pie. What can I say? We had a great time! Thank you ❤️
