14/06/2025: Historic place in the center of Valmadrera, I used to come here as a kid for pizza parties with the soccer team. The management has changed but I am very pleased to see that the wood-fired oven has been maintained. We stopped for a quick lunch. Excellent service, friendly and not intrusive from the welcome to the end. Varied choice of appetizers, first and second courses of land, sea, a small vegetarian section and pizzas. I do not recommend it to those who are used to sophisticated and chic things. Simple place, family-run, with tasty dishes. I will return to try the pizza.

31/05/2025: Got scammed by this restaurant. Tells me they don’t accept card then doesn’t give me the correct change.

13/07/2025: Food was good. But the service was great. Can’t remember the wonderful girls name. You made our dinner great. 👍🏼 Shoutout to Max for his latte art even with having to large milk steamer. Awesome job. Hey owners get this man the proper equipment and your guesses will rave about the art.

09/07/2025: I took the margherita pizza because I had tasted it in 2024 and I liked it a lot, this time in July 2025 definitely to avoid at €8, the piadinas at €9, The waiter doesn't understand Italian in Italy.

21/08/2025: Nice bar, but the atmosphere is a bit anonymous and dull. It has potential, but it's lacking in excitement. The brioche product could be improved.

27/05/2025: I went in a few mornings ago, for breakfast, I found a barista who was not only nice, but very, very good at doing her job, I really appreciated her cappuccino, practically perfect!!! Keep it up and congratulations ☺️

07/09/2025: A good lunch. The prices are perhaps a little high for a place above Lecco, but the quality is truly excellent. I'd probably add a few more starters to choose from, but that's probably the philosophy of the place.

24/08/2025: I didn't like the location. The view isn't great. The €4 cover charge isn't justified. The menu only offers a few pizzas (which are expensive, going up to €35). They don't do first courses, only second courses. My pizza was pretty burned. I wouldn't go back.

30/04/2025: On a trip from Milan to Varenna we had a pleasant lunch enjoying the flavors of the place. Shared mixed starter (more than enough for two), two very generous Borgovino tagliatelle (unique), two glasses of wine, water and coffee. 80 euros. Flavors I'm not used to, but truly surprising. Large portions for the price and excellent, welcoming and friendly service.

18/04/2025: Delicious, freshly cooked food in homely atmosphere in a place of too many tourist restaurants. Authentic!

17/09/2025: I highly recommend it! Great place, beautiful view, good food, very efficient service. Nothing but positives!

11/09/2025: The woman working behind the bar was a disaster! She shouldn’t be working there. We ordered on the spot and she brought the food in takeaway boxes. We opened them to eat, and she started yelling that this isn’t a campsite 🤦‍♂️😂. Such rudeness! Best to avoid this place if you can. The spaghetti carbonara was bitter, the pizza was eatable.

03/08/2025: BAD management. No comment about the food simply because, despite the email confirmation of our reservation #279023623695 for Sunday, August 3, at 1:00 PM, the restaurant was closed! The girl managing the lido bar apologized and offered us a pizza or some other simple dish there. The worst part was that at 1:27 PM I received an email from Quandoo (the website that handles reservations) with the following content: They informed us that you didn't show up. The website says it's open, so I tried calling for more information, but no response. I won't add anything else! Disappointed and angry, we went looking for a restaurant nearby. And luckily, we found a beautiful place right on the lakeside. COVO NORD OVEST Piazza Garibaldi 24 23864 Malgrate (LC) Nice, good service/food, and good value.

19/06/2025: Terrible experience in the company of 12 people for a birthday party. The only one who didn't get food was me. At 11.30pm the pizza arrived after the other 11 people at the table had finished dinner. I'd say I won't be returning.

12/08/2025: Hi, I've been waiting for the waitress at my table for half an hour and I haven't ordered yet. We need more staff during peak times. You can't leave one girl alone to look after 20 tables inside and as many outside.

10/08/2025: Charging €0.10 extra for a coffee stain is absurd. Even if it's listed on the price list. It's truly never happened to me. I think it's the only bar in all of Lombardy.

13/09/2025: Impossible to go back 👎🏻 Waiting for more than an hour in line, the staff are rude and act nervously and without enthusiasm.. When we finished the pasta, we ordered dessert and coffee and they brought them without cleaning the table, and when we asked to clean it, the first time he sat down, he was huffing and puffing and angry.. And when you finish eating and want to pay, no one will give you any respect 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 In short, the worst place, it's not worth wasting your day for

12/09/2025: Edible food but when it is served in 5 minutes flat it doesn’t scream freshly made.. especially when it is luke warm.. overall it just felt very rushed which was disappointing. the atmosphere was pleasant and busy (to be expected with the restaurant being lake side). I would recommend it for only drinks and a view, not the food.

09/08/2025: We had an Aperol, a lemon soda, and sparkling water. 8 euros! You can't beat that! The toilet smells bad. There's also a French toilet.

29/06/2025: What can I say… only four euros for a super generous two-flavor cone in a lakeside ice cream shop. One of the best ice creams I've ever eaten, if not the best. In addition to this, I compliment the girl who served me, who was super helpful and friendly

23/06/2025: Too slow to serve customers + more price of milkshake increased up to 5€ of regular but the presence of ice cream disappeared - only milk liquid remained. I will not go back there again
