23/06/2025: Too slow to serve customers + more price of milkshake increased up to 5€ of regular but the presence of ice cream disappeared - only milk liquid remained. I will not go back there again

30/04/2025: On a trip from Milan to Varenna we had a pleasant lunch enjoying the flavors of the place. Shared mixed starter (more than enough for two), two very generous Borgovino tagliatelle (unique), two glasses of wine, water and coffee. 80 euros. Flavors I'm not used to, but truly surprising. Large portions for the price and excellent, welcoming and friendly service.

18/04/2025: Delicious, freshly cooked food in homely atmosphere in a place of too many tourist restaurants. Authentic!

17/07/2025: I'd really like to address the manager: I'm from Bevera and I've been there many times. The last two times were very bad. Referring to last night, I'd like to ask you if this is your definition of paella! Three appetizers divided into three Anchovies: perfect. Sardines in sauce: perfect. Mussels au gratin: so-so. But the paella! Not that! Overcooked rice, tough octopus slices, three shrimp, half a cicada, a few mussels. But it was dead flavorless (usually a little chili pepper is enough...) I've never tasted a paella with even a hint of chili pepper. You need to let the chef know. Sorry, but I have to tell you why you're closing! I actually saw very few people. It was Wednesday... Best regards

28/06/2025: We were there in the evening, outdoor table given the heat, we ate appetizers and fish main courses, everything cooked very well, good service, friendly and nice waiters.

28/02/2025: Mi dispiace solamente di non aver avuto voglia/coraggio di dirlo al momento di pagare il conto, abbiamo mangiato la peggiore pizza mai assaggiata, una Margherita e una Instant: pomodoro acido, mozzarella niente di che, completamente insipida. Mi auguro per i gestori che sia stata solamente una serata storta!

09/07/2025: I took the margherita pizza because I had tasted it in 2024 and I liked it a lot, this time in July 2025 definitely to avoid at €8, the piadinas at €9, The waiter doesn't understand Italian in Italy.

25/06/2025: I ask for two cups of one flavor, on the price list it says €2.50, but on the receipt €3. Why? I don't say anything about the scoop of ice cream that doesn't even cover half of the small cup. Too bad! If the ice cream costs €2.50 I pay €2.50. If the costs increase, I think it's their duty to change the price list or warn. It's not for €1, but we don't behave like this. P.S. It's not the first time.

21/06/2025: We went in to get some coffees: two macchiatos and one smooth. When we got the receipt, we already noticed that the macchiatos cost 10 cents more than the regular coffee! Then, since the coffee was burning hot, the guy who had the smooth coffee asked for a drop of cold milk to be put in his coffee. They had the nerve to tell us that we would have to pay the difference at the cashier to get A DROP OF COLD MILK! I'm speechless, I'm sorry, but we won't set foot in there again.

21/04/2025: We were surprised about how fast they served us but the result was not so surprising. Pasta carbonara was on a 2, very un tasty, kids did not want to eat it. La parmigiana was on 5, pretty good. Gnocchi the same, very good. Pasta paccheri - they did not have paccheri and replaced with fettuccini. It was on a 4 I would say. The biggest disappointment was the dessert, cake of the day. It was a tiny slice of panettone with some strange sauce…. At least now we know what colomba cake is)))

05/04/2025: Il Ristorante Bellano a Tacceno offre un’esperienza culinaria di altissimo livello: piatti eccellenti, ingredienti freschi, sapori ben bilanciati. La location è splendida, perfetta per rilassarsi, e il servizio è davvero impeccabile: cortesia e professionalità da manuale. Tuttavia, c’è una scelta gestionale che lascia davvero l’amaro in bocca: i cani non sono ammessi, nemmeno quelli di piccola taglia. Una posizione rigida, fuori dal tempo e fuori contesto, specialmente oggi, dove la ristorazione moderna ha imparato ad accogliere anche gli amici a quattro zampe – soprattutto se piccoli, educati e in grado di comportarsi meglio di certi umani. E lo dico non da turista “milanese della domenica”, come vengono chiamati da queste parti, ma da residente dell’Assassina. Sono uno che potrebbe venire qui anche più sere a settimana, uno che conosce la zona e che porta rispetto. Ma niente da fare: con il cane, anche piccolo, qui non si entra. Peccato davvero. Cucina e location top, ma l’accoglienza – quella vera – si misura anche da queste cose.
