19/07/2025: To get there you have to travel 500/700 m of dangerous dirt road, the rest is all poor quality.

05/07/2025: We would have liked to try this tavern, I called for a week and only the answering machine came on saying to leave a message and you will be contacted again, we were never contacted again. We looked at the website and it suggested calling the same number. We decided to go anyway. Leaving aside a practically impassable mountain road and not at all indicated anywhere, we found ourselves in the middle of the woods, on a road full of holes and rocks, to discover that the tavern was closed. Instead of putting the answering machine that says you will be contacted again, say perhaps that the place is closed or a pop up on the website, it was not difficult, zero attention to customers.

07/07/2025: Very bad experience pasta very bad no taste

04/07/2025: The staff spilled whiskey on the table and didn't clean it up, the food was terrible, the pizza was made on pitta, the glasses were dirty. This place shouldn't exist, never go there!

02/02/2025: Pastries rated 0 Purchased a tray of assorted pastries for a dinner with friends. We are very disappointed because we made a fool of ourselves! All the pastries were clearly old, the cannoncini were damp and the cream was dry, the pastries were some moist and some were stringy. Not recommended!

23/07/2025: Today I asked for a brioche with cream and it was denied because the machine was off and no connection.

04/07/2025: I stopped for breakfast, cappuccino and brioche, all very good! The place itself is small but has numerous outdoor tables. When I went it was very crowded, but the staff handled it very well. If you need the services they are there but you have to ask for the key and walk to the end of the adjacent alley.

30/03/2025: Excellent pizzeria in the center of Colico! Kind and helpful guys, always smiling... it is located in front of the station and a few steps from the lake, an ideal location. Crispy and tasty pizza, recommended!

01/07/2025: I went to the agriturismo for a hen party to do a cooking class followed by lunch. During the entire cooking class, what we did and how we did it were criticized (badly), expecting too much. When we asked to move inside for lunch given the crazy temperature in the outdoor gazebo, we were denied several times for no apparent reason. Not to mention the menu is not very suitable for a late June lunch, it would have been nice to prepare more summery and light dishes. Honestly, for the price paid, it is absolutely NOT worth it. A real shame, because if they were more friendly it would be a special and fun experience.

29/06/2025: Poor service and little attention to customers. We booked this location for an event with friends (so a few weeks in advance). At lunch time it is 36 degrees so we ask for the courtesy of having lunch inside instead of in the garden but we are told in an annoyed way that it is not possible because the agreements made during the booking are different.... Unfortunately in these conditions even the food is half enjoyed due to the great heat that makes everything less pleasant. I would recommend it perhaps only in winter. I do not recommend the cooking class.

07/06/2025: I passed by with a friend of mine on a mountain bike, an excellent location to rest and breathe clean air and enjoy the view that Pian delle betulle offers, we stopped for breakfast and the chocolate cake was very good (I recommend everyone to try it) I didn't try the apple cake but I bet it's worth it. The owner was very friendly, kind and polite, super fast in service and honest prices. On this occasion we stopped to eat a delicious lunch, nice and abundant portions. What can I say, I was super satisfied, greetings and keep it up 💪🏼❤❤

02/05/2025: Dishes definitely reheated and even badly, semifreddos, today Friday 2 May leftovers from 1 May, a cutting board perhaps would have been the best choice, the beer which was fresh was saved. A smaller menu is better than many poorly prepared dishes. It's just advice. We won't be returning anyway

27/06/2025: 9:15 pm, there are two of us joining a couple of acquaintances to have a drink for the first time at this restaurant. Their reservation was at 8 pm and when we arrived they had barely finished the dishes they had ordered (a tartare and a veal tonné which arrived 45 minutes after ordering). They had promptly notified the staff of our arrival who sat them at a table for 2?? (table on the terrace leaning against the fence so for 2 max 3 people) and added 2 chairs on the free side and we squeezed together (there was only 1 table with a family on the entire terrace). We ordered a lager and asked for advice on a second beer and both waiters had no idea what I was asking for (red or amber, ipa or Blanche) At which point I got up and went to see the types they had. Once this was finished we added 2 bitters. Bill €31. Two medium beers and two bitters. Incomprehensible price since we didn't even have dinner so we used the cover charge. The staff was unprepared and inattentive to customers and the bill was expensive. Never again.

06/04/2025: Friendly and kind. I bought 6 takeaway pizzas and they gave me a 2 liter coke as a gift. However, the pizza dough was poorly leavened, little care or rather haste in the baking. By improving this point, the quality improves significantly

18/07/2025: The positive: the view. Everything else was absolutely unacceptable. We ordered and paid in advance for 1 cappuccino (€5), 1 Coke (€5), and watermelon on ice with lemon (a few pieces of watermelon with lemon slices on ice cubes, €8). We waited 35 minutes, the cappuccino was cold, and the watermelon arrived another 10 minutes later. We had to endure photo-hunters who almost wanted to sit on my chair for a good photo... unfortunately, we were completely in love with the view here and should have read the 1-star reviews.

18/07/2025: 2:00 p.m. on a Friday in mid-July. Completely overwhelming. We waited 30 minutes for a Coke, a cappuccino, and eight slices of watermelon on ice. The cappuccino was definitely ready earlier; it was now the same temperature as the Coke. Hey, but for €18, you can't really expect that much here. Worst experience on Lake Como. Definitely avoid this place; a rip-off combined with an overwhelming experience... luckily, the weather didn't affect it. Even the music was so loud you could barely hear the lake.

18/07/2025: I completely agree with so many other reviews. It's worth it for the location and the friendly service from numerous waitresses. But as for the food, it's best to leave it alone, because it's true that it's not a restaurant, but bringing a platter with a few slices of cured meats and three tiny cheeses, a bag of chips, two eggs, and water and spending €44 seems excessive to me. But it's more our fault for filling the place up than theirs, who obviously do as they see fit.

23/07/2025: I ordered the risotto gamberi zucchinie (rice w shrimp and zucchini) The dish looked like mush. The shrimp tasted like it was reheated. And I don’t know if this was intentional, but the rice tasted like it was meant for porridge and overcooked, very mushy. In general, my experience with it was not good. I had a group of four in total and we all ordered different things and were not pleased with any of them. The servers were nice, their English was good, and so was the atmosphere and sitting area outside. Plus, the bathrooms need a bit more work. In general, unfortunately not satisfied.

22/07/2025: Do not eat here! Cross contamination and completely misleading. We ordered the tomato pasta and the spaghetti with clams. The tomato pasta was hard and the sauce was terrible so bland and watery. Within 3 minutes my partner found a bit of bolognese in his food. My spaghetti with clams was so tasteless, the spaghetti was clearly not fresh, there was tons of clam shells in my dish but only about 7 actual bits of clam meat (as well as clearly being overcooked) . The only taste was garlic and oil, evident from my photo of a whole garlic I found in the spaghetti. We had about 5 bites of our food each, we eventually had to call someone over and explain that we were very disappointed. They took the dishes away and after about 10 minutes they gave a half arsed apology and we were told that as the ‘manager’ was not here they could not discount it. They only offered a free drink or dessert as an apology, we definitely weren’t accepting more food from this place. We denied the offer and were made to pay the bill in whole. 49 euros wasted to something we couldn’t even eat. I can honestly say this is the worst food I have ever had while eating out. I would not recommend especially for vegetarians (unless you want hidden meat in your food) and people with allergens such as myself. We came without checking the reviews don’t make the same mistake as us.

04/05/2025: Principale nota dolente è che la prenotazione per pranzo (per 10) era andata persa, e solo la giornata gradevole ci ha permesso di pranzare all'esterno e di non andarcene a bocca asciutta. Ci si rifà con buone portate, meglio i secondi dei primi, e molto apprezzati anche i dolci. Vino della casa, si lascia bere. Caffè da termos e amaro offerto, ma per stomaci forti.

01/05/2025: Più che una recensione, un consiglio. Siamo stati davanti al rifugio per un ora, 40 persone in coda, tavoli 80% vuoti. Ma perché non riorganizzare l'accoglienza, fare sedere i clienti che nel frattempo consumano al posto di tenerli in coda ?
