Reached on foot in an intense hour and a half from Civate, beautiful views, beautiful woods, no exposed sections, and much of the trail is in the shade. I arrived at 3:30 PM and they were kind enough to offer me a platter and wine since the kitchen was closed and they were cleaning up.

Keep in mind that this evaluation is based with the place being a refuge in the top of a mountain. Pretty much a checkpoint for the adventurous souls. They serve very good food, but not too many options, make that 2 options only when I've been. People are very polite, good to talk to! They have rooms but don't accept booking, it's pretty much for the volunteers there.

Nice, welcoming place, fair prices, and friendly staff. I'd run out of water when I arrived, and even though the shelter was closed, they welcomed me.
