Also, the prices are too high.
I'd like to remind the manager that we're in Merate, not on Lake Garda...

Excellent food
The owner, Pietro, was very kind and took me on a gastronomic tour of the Langhe cheeses.
The last cheese I tasted was fantastic... Unfortunately, I don't remember the name 😅...
The vegetables, cold cuts, flan, and wine were also excellent.

I came in by chance, passing through on my way to Lecco and waiting for someone.
I was pleasantly surprised by the owner's kindness and the remarkable selection of fine wines.
I enjoyed a "special" toasted sandwich, made with high-quality prosciutto and a special cheese whose name I don't remember.
To accompany it, Mr. Pietro poured me a glass of wine... "diVino" 🍷😊
They also sell many gluten-free products, both packaged and homemade.
For example, the carrot cake with almond flour, delicious 😋.
Congratulations! Unfortunately, it's increasingly rare to find places like this, where quality comes first. 👏🏻

16/04/2026: You can grab your pizza and eat it by the lake at Lago di Lecco. The pizza portions are quite large, but I think the fact that they serve it uncut is a drawback.
06/04/2026: It's a small pizzeria and eatery located in Lierna. While we didn't buy food, we did buy drinks, and the person serving us was very friendly. They gave us precise directions on where to wait for the bus that would take us back to Lecco so we could then catch the train to Milan. Very friendly people, highly recommended.

04/04/2026: I had booked a table for four at 8:30 PM. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted and seated. Unfortunately, after waiting five minutes for our table, the staff came to inform us that they had completely run out of pizza dough.
As if the absurdity of being left without pizza (on a Saturday night, no less) wasn't enough, they also informed us that the wait to order anything else from the kitchen was at least an hour.
I find it unacceptable and profoundly unprofessional to take and confirm reservations without having the necessary supplies to guarantee customer service. We obviously got up, left immediately, and went to dinner elsewhere. Absolutely not recommended.
29/03/2026: Absolutely superb service, helpful and friendly staff, beers that are too "hoppy," a deviation from the recent past of many master brewers. The food was average, though I skipped the appetizers (fried food) that were still cold inside.
The atmosphere was too noisy, making it difficult to converse with other diners.

01/04/2026: A welcoming, tidy place, I recommend it if you're a pescetarian, like me. The price/quality ratio is well-balanced. There's so much variety on the menu for different dietary needs (vegetarian, pescetarian, omnivores, etc.), and even though I made a reservation, the wait wasn't long (12 minutes).
30/03/2026: There were 4 of us. We ordered 2 starters, 1 grilled meat, half a grilled fish, 2 grilled sea breams, but they brought us half a sea bream for one, grilled vegetables for 2, and potatoes. The vegetables weren't fresh, a bit runny. The thing that bothered me was that we arrived at 8:00 pm and at 8:45 pm the waiters were circling us to ask us to leave since the place had emptied of other customers. The prices weren't very cheap for what we ate. 35 euros per person.

12/04/2026: Truly excellent all-you-can-eat pizza! Extremely well-organized, with a wide selection of pizza slices to choose from, including specialty flavors (which isn't a given since it's all-you-can-eat pizza). Excellent value! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

Very fresh and high-quality ingredients, lovely crispy and tasty pizza. I ordered takeout and can say that the service was fast and the staff very friendly.
I'm giving it four stars only because I want to try it again.

08/04/2026: Just had lunch there, the terrace was quite busy but there was only one waiter. He was brilliant but clearly too much work for one person. I ordered amatriciana. It didn’t have one bit of guanciale nor any pecorino! Simply some spaghetti with passata. Not even spaghettoni or bucatini. Just thin spaghetti. 16 euros plus coperto. I am not going to bother describing the caprese salad, but there was no basil or balsamic vinegar on it, I didn’t see the oil neither. It’s a pity with that location.

14/12/2025: Great experience! We were a group of 10 and we had everything from pizza, well-cooked, light, and made with quality ingredients, to risotto with ossobuco, which was truly delicious. Then there were those who ordered the tagliata and were truly satisfied. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the owner was truly top-notch in every way... I'll definitely be back.

04/04/2026: A quiet place with relaxing music, perfect service, and very tasty dishes. The lamb was very tender, the mashed potatoes were super natural and delicious, and the pasta was a 10/10. 100% recommended.
23/03/2026: We stopped for lunch on a quiet Monday in March. Even though we were seated inside, the view of the lake from the large window was uninterrupted. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. The bread was served warm and drizzled with olive oil, and they offered excellent salted butter and a fantastic cheese volunteer. Everything was delicious, from appetizer to dessert... shame about the coffee, which was definitely below the acceptable threshold (hence the 4-star rating).
The price was fair. We highly recommend it!
