They even managed to accommodate gluten-free options for celiac guests. A contemporary trattoria perfectly captures the concept. The spacious and very quiet atmosphere is refined with a modern design and taste.
The service was impeccable, friendly, and professional.
19/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, well-maintained and with high-quality food. The tasting menu offers the chance to try several surprise dishes at a fair price. The staff is attentive and friendly. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend trying it.

25/11/2025: We stopped for dinner at this place simply because it was on our route. We walked in and our first impression was of a cold, impersonal atmosphere, but we later changed our minds.
We ate two pizzas, which we thought were really good and at a fair price. We recommend it.

I've had pizza in many places, but this one truly stands out. The flavor, the texture, the balance -absolutely unforgettable. Every bite felt like a celebration.
The staff were incredibly polite and welcoming, and the space itself was warm, stylish, and full of good energy. You feel cared for the moment you walk in.
If you're anywhere near Bergamo, do yourself a favor and eat here. It's not just a meal -it's a memory.
10/10/2025: Hidden gem of a restaurant. I was recommended this by a colleague who had eaten here before. We trusted his word and tried this restaurant. It's small, tucked out of the main tourist street and is a charming restaurant. Service was friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and inviting. We ordered two pizza, a whine, water and coke. The whine was fantastic and pizza was delicious. Cooked fresh in a real pizza oven. Prices are very reasonable too. Highly recommend.

13/12/2025: We were guests at La Golena restaurant for Caldaie Melgari's company dinner. It was a truly memorable experience. We enjoyed a menu of the freshest seafood, where each course was a perfect balance of flavor and presentation.
You immediately noticed the incredible attention to detail: from the atmosphere in the dining room to the plating, which I would almost describe as artistic. The dishes were not only delicious, but spectacular to look at.
A well-deserved applause goes to the Chef for his mastery in the kitchen, but I want to extend a special thank you to the owners of Caldaie Melgari: you made an excellent choice in treating us to this evening.
A top-notch company dinner! Highly recommended!

16/11/2025: A place we've been coming back for 20 years!!! We also came here to celebrate our son's confirmation and were delighted with the choice. As always, everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the first courses: risotto with cavolo nero, hazelnuts, and guanciale was mouth-watering, and fresh pasta with venison ragù was excellent! The main course, meat and polenta, was exquisite...the dessert was excellent...everything was perfect!
Great place for a small group, with almost the entire dining room at our disposal, and the service was courteous and always available for any request!
We couldn't have made a better choice!

30/11/2025: We had a great time as always... but unfortunately I have to say that we bought the mixed fruit mustard... asking for it to be like the one served in the restaurant with boiled meats because it was divine... we were told yes... today for a family lunch we opened it but with great regret it was very different... not because of the fruit but because of the level of acidity... they were two different worlds. I'm sorry to have to say it but we were disappointed...
12/11/2025: A historic venue that has maintained its overall high quality. Once a must-visit spot, it remains a pleasant stop today, offering attentive service and an authentic atmosphere with a touch of yesteryear.
