The Fondaco (Matteo, Barbara, and Alberto) and their entire staff are the epitome of professionalism in the industry. Everything was simply perfect. The location is beautiful, surrounded by greenery, with the aperitif area opening onto the park, and the buffet stations strategically positioned in the shade of the tall trees that frame the park, adjacent to a grassy area. There are seats and tables arranged in various ways to accommodate the different moods of the guests (some prefer to sit, others prefer side tables). The indoor dining room—for dinner—is glass-enclosed, overlooking the park. Needless to say, it was the first thing I fell in love with. The menus are sophisticated, but it's impossible not to please everyone. Alberto's cuisine is divine. Every dish is prepared with meticulous attention to detail, and everything seems to be cooked as if it were the only dish to emerge from the kitchen, not one of 120 in the space of a few minutes. Impeccable organization. Matteo and Barbara guided us through the planning process and patiently accommodated our every request, even some whimsical ones (the enormous wedding table plan, the guest who showed up unannounced...). And that day, it was easy to trust like a parent: the Fondaco set the pace, telling us, the guests, and the rest of the staff (photographer, musicians) what to do, when, and where, making every moment a painting. I would choose the Fondaco a thousand times over.

We looked at so many venues for our wedding, but none were like the Fondaco. From the first photos, I immediately knew this was the place for us, that I would do anything to get married here. What sets the Fondaco apart isn't just the beautiful location and the spectacular food (our guests continue to remind us how delicious and meticulously crafted everything was), but it's that homey, family-like feeling that Matteo and his incredible staff create. By choosing the Fondaco, you know you have a venue ready for any eventuality; Matteo definitely has a plan A, B, and even C. Rain? No problem! Unlike other venues that have a wonderful garden but a claustrophobic interior, the Fondaco has a beautiful interior that even allows for completely indoor ceremonies. What can I say? I would choose this venue a thousand times over. I take this opportunity to thank Matteo and his entire staff once again; you made this day unforgettable. <3

What can I say? We felt at home, pampered from start to finish. We couldn't have made a better choice. The heart always knows what's right, and when we first set foot at Fondaco dei Mercanti, we immediately knew it was the right place to celebrate the most important day of our lives. We continue to receive compliments on everything: the organization, the location, each of the staff, and last but not least, the food. We and our guests will treasure it all. Matteo was a point of reference from the start, and with his patience, he guided us step by step through the realization of our special day. He left nothing to chance; every single aspect was taken care of down to the smallest detail, and Barbara, together with him, welcomed us to this wonderful place, with which we have fallen deeply and hopelessly in love!

Excellent organization, perfect timing, and delicious food; the chef is truly one-of-a-kind! Bad weather disrupted our plans at the last minute, but we didn't miss a thing, and the entire wedding went flawlessly, from the ceremony to the closing party. Beautiful and welcoming place. I spent a wonderful afternoon at a dear friend's wedding. The food was truly delicious and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm taking one star off only because there were so many flies; some pest control would be helpful.
