20/08/2025: Ordered: Buffalo tomatoes Received An unripe tomato cut into quarters with a scoop of buffalo tomatoes. No olive oil. No basil. The dish that must have cost them 1 euro. Sold: 16 euros

20/08/2025: There were 8 of us in this restaurant which seemed okay to us according to the reviews. What a disappointment!!! A very nice waiter, however, half an hour of waiting for a "burata" dish with 1 tomato cut into four and a ball of Burata taken out of the bag and placed on the tomatoes without seasoning, a Milanese escalope arrived 10mm later while everyone was served and without presentation, without lemon etc.. inedible gnocchi etc... Apart from the Sicilian tuna which was okay. Very disappointed despite a picturesque setting and correct reviews. To top it all off, a hefty bill with a mini scoop of lemon ice cream at €7.50 and the bourata at €16, scandalous.

06/08/2025: I'm in love with Imperia. Like every year, almost like a ritual, I have to go to Lanterna Blu to relive the same experience that has been with me since I was a child. La Lanterna Blu isn't just a restaurant; it's the symbol of this beautiful province. It's a magical place characterized by an elegant, distinguished, clean, and comfortable setting. Max makes you feel right at home, from the moment you greet him to when you leave. But let's move on to the dishes. What can I say? They're in keeping with the location and could sum it all up in one word: "Quality." The catch of the day I ate was sublime; the ingredients were fresh and served with care and elegance, the attention to the customer and their needs was attentive, and the wine list was vast. All these qualities should be taken for granted, but unfortunately, these days, they're not easy to find in the restaurant world. In short, maybe it's just me who has a soft spot for this place, but it's definitely a place worth visiting if you're in the area. See you soon, Max.

21/08/2025: Pasta with clams was incredibly salty, a Moretti beer cost €6, a can of Coca-Cola €3.50! I don't understand where they're trying to get at with these absurd prices for drinks! Who knows!

13/08/2025: A very good Ligurian culinary experience, but not only in this very welcoming little restaurant with a beautiful wine list where you will be given many explanations... in French please! We realize that these very friendly people love their job! An enchanting place, even if on the side of the road, in an intimate, relaxing and green setting (outdoor terrace). The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and presentation of the dishes, even if in a higher range than more classic restaurants in the area. We came there on a Sunday in July, and it was a good thing that it was open, unlike most of the restaurants in the area. Note the very clean toilets, which contrasts with quite a few restaurants on the nearby French coast. Go there! You shouldn't be disappointed!

It's one of those rare places where you immediately feel at home, thanks to an authentic, warm, and relaxed atmosphere, where time seems to slow down. The real star, however, is the spaghetti allo scoglio. A dish that might seem unpredictable elsewhere, here is an absolute certainty: fragrant, balanced, rich in flavor and seafood. The pasta is always al dente, the sauce enveloping, with the freshest seafood that expresses all the generosity of the Mediterranean. It's the classic dish I order every time, and every time it reminds me why I keep coming back. The courtesy of the service is another reason why this osteria deserves all its stars. The staff is always smiling, attentive but never intrusive, ready to offer expert and helpful advice. You can sense a genuine passion for hospitality, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. In a world of copycat restaurants, this place remains a staple, a haven for those seeking authentic cuisine and a sincere welcome. Highly recommended for those who love good food and simplicity done well.

17/08/2025: This is my second time eating here, and I've had a great experience. The table service and speed of delivery are a bit lacking, but the quality is good. Prices are average. One bonus is that you can eat indoors in the air conditioning, which is a plus on hot days, given that there are often no cool places in the area.

The place has a quiet and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a lunch with friends or a relaxing break. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back. Recommended!

07/06/2025: Excellent place where you eat a lot and well. The kindness of the owners and the convivial atmosphere will make you feel at home. Little advice: if you go for dinner, have a very light lunch because the menu is very rich as well as the portions and since everything is very good it is a shame not to be able to taste all the courses.

The meal is very long, a little too long for our taste because we spent almost 4 hours at the table, asking at the end to speed up the pace a little and skipping dishes. We will definitely come back! 09/08/2025: The restaurant serves pretty good Italian cuisine, with fresh pasta and pleasant flavors. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is decent, if a little slow at times. On the other hand, the prices are really excessive for what's served: the portions are modest and the bill mounts up quickly. A decent experience overall, but the value for money leaves something to be desired.
