A truly original and memorable address, ideal for mushroom lovers and those who appreciate authentic cuisine.
The house specialty revolves around mushrooms, with a menu of approximately 10 dishes featuring porcini mushrooms prepared in a variety of ways. The porcini are showcased to perfection from beginning to end of the meal.
The meats grilled over a wood fire are excellent, flavorful, and generously portioned.
The restaurant offers a set menu for around €40 to €45, including wine, which is very reasonable considering the quality and overall experience.
Special mention goes to the tiramisu, served in a unique way in a small jar, adding a fun and unexpected touch to the end of the meal.
The setting is enchanting, especially in spring or autumn, during porcini season, when the atmosphere becomes even more magical.
In short: an address you absolutely must discover. However, be aware that reservations are often required about two weeks in advance.

Ca' Mea in Badalucco is one of those places that makes you understand why it's worth venturing into the Ligurian hinterland valleys, far from the crowded seaside. As soon as you arrive in Località Ravezza, the atmosphere is already just right: a simple, welcoming place with rustic yet refined decor, well-spaced tables, and a sense of conviviality that makes you feel instantly at home. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and attentive, without ever being intrusive—just as you'd expect from a family-run trattoria that knows what it's doing. The true heart of Ca' Mea is the mushrooms, especially the fresh local porcini, which they handle with rare mastery. The set menu (around €40 per person, house wine included) is a veritable marathon of flavors: it begins with a generous array of appetizers (crostini, salads, frittatas, stuffed vegetables, all with mushrooms or local ingredients), followed by porcini mushroom risotto—creamy, fragrant, with that forest flavor that lingers in your mouth for hours—followed by fresh pasta (tagliatelle or pappardelle with wild boar or mushroom ragù), a succulent meat-based main course (often lamb chops or veal with porcini mushrooms), and finally, homemade desserts to round things off. The portions are generous, almost ready to share if you don't have a mountain appetite, and everything is made with quality ingredients, without unnecessary frills: traditional Ligurian valley cuisine, honest and flavorful. Mushrooms are the absolute leitmotif in season, and the experience is truly memorable—many leave saying, "It was the best mushroom dish of my life." We spent an unforgettable Sunday afternoon: total relaxation, chatting with friends, toasting with a good local red, and finally feeling like we'd discovered a hidden gem. After the 2020 flood that hit the area hard, the fact that Ca' Mea has rebounded under its own steam and is back stronger than ever makes the place even more charming. If you're in the Imperia or Sanremo area and love authentic cuisine based on mushrooms and local products, Ca' Mea is absolutely worth the detour. A full 4.5/5, with praise for its authenticity and that "taste of home" that is increasingly rare these days. Highly recommended—be sure to book, as it's always packed with repeat visitors!

Not bad at all...
If you want different restaurant and do like mushroom 🍄family cooking.
Good place for a break from all the traditional cooking
A gastronomic delight! The restaurant specializes in mushrooms, which are featured in almost every dish except dessert. They're delicious and filling. The staff is friendly and cheerful, and speaks Italian, English, French, and a little Russian. The building is a converted mill. Overall: a very charming place, delicious wine, and excellent food—what more could you ask for?

THE ONLY PLACE KNOWN FOR MUSHROOMS. GOOD AS ALWAYS, BUT COMPARED TO THE PAST, FEWER DISHES AND LOWER QUALITY.
WORTHY RECOMMENDATION

Fantastic for porcini mushroom lovers! The best value for money. We went as a family of five and everyone loved it. We'll be back as soon as possible. Thanks again for such a great evening!

I arrived by car and, not seeing the designated parking, stopped near the entrance. A member of staff came out and, in a forceful and completely rude manner, ordered me to move my car. Luckily, a third person arrived and remedied the situation by asking me to leave the car, saying, given the time, it wouldn't cause any problems. I think commandments with customers are never appropriate. Otherwise, in the dining room, a very polite lady guided us through the (good) menu and provided a warm welcome in a pleasant setting.
