07/03/2026: A beautiful place in the heart of Genoa's alleys, where you can try excellent bruschetta, fresh cured meat platters, tartare, and a variety of cheeses. The options are extensive, and it's fun (as well as delicious) to try the most interesting and unusual pairings. The wine and beer selection is also extensive. The staff is very friendly and helpful; they even found us a table on a Friday evening even though we hadn't booked (which we recommend). The place is beautiful and has a rustic feel!

04/04/2026: We visited this restaurant in Levanto with three adults and two children and had a really good time. The service was very friendly and attentive, always available even for the little ones, which we really appreciated. The prices are absolutely reasonable and well-proportioned for the quality of the dishes. We ate well, but a special mention goes to the seafood risotto: truly excellent, flavorful, and well-cooked. Overall, a positive experience that we recommend, especially for those traveling with family.

15/03/2026: Unfortunately, I'm giving one star for the food. After the fish soup and seafood pasta, both my partner and I felt terrible. The prices are quite high, certainly not those of a trattoria (€20 for starters and €30 for fish soup), more appropriate for a restaurant with decent table settings. The freshness of the food is definitely not up to par. Maybe we were unlucky because it was Sunday, but I won't be returning anyway. No complaints about the kind and attentive service.

15/02/2026: I left Alessandria to get ripped off in this pizzeria. I mean, the pizza is good, but for each added ingredient, almost 3 euros more, and I had three. For me, it was too much. Plus, they added a good 7 euros more to the bottle of Valdobbiadine on the menu, and for 21 I paid 28. Never again.

23/12/2025: Located between Albisola and Celle, this very cute place has friendly staff and excellent pizza. Recommended.

14/09/2025: It was delicious. It wasn't very filling, so be careful if you're very hungry. The place is incredible, as is the server, who speaks excellent English!

Despite our satisfaction with the excellent choice, we were also given a complimentary dessert, a gesture that left us really happy, because we felt truly pampered. We recommend trying the place, you will be super satisfied.

31/03/2026: A wonderful bar, run with dedication and attention to detail amidst the tourist bustle of the Cinque Terre. The wine is superb, the service even more so. The focaccia served with the drinks was a delight.

27/03/2026: Carla.....Grazie Mielle, Grazie Mielle, Grazie Mille!!! This year we took our boys to Vernazza, Italy, one of the five towns in the Cinque Terre. Knowing we wanted to have our kids connect with their roots, my wife suggested we take a cooking class. To put it bluntly, our one-on-one pesto and pasta making course with Carla was an exceptional experience! Not only was it a hands on, private tutorial the entire time, she even had a beautiful local bottle of white wine......"when we cook, we drink wine!" We went back the next day to try some different wines and her charcuterie board skills! Of course, Carla did not disappoint!!! Our family is looking forward to putting our new skills to the test when we are back in the US to see if we can replicate what we learned!

03/10/2025: The food here at "Casale" is good, but I have to be honest and say that the portions have been getting smaller for a while now, and the price has become proportionally higher. It's a shame, but I hope the management will reflect on this and take this as a constructive comment, not a criticism. Good luck!

01/04/2026: Highly recommended. Fixed price, just €11 per person for a first and second course with side dishes...plus dessert! Generous, homemade dishes and authentic flavors. The fried anchovies? What a sight! The cod? Excellent! The stew? Melts in your mouth! The first courses? It's not homemade pasta, but it's well-seasoned! Friendly staff and private parking! Oh, and I forgot, the desserts are also excellent! I hope I've made your mouth water.

11/03/2026: Very good food. A bit pricey and not full on a Saturday night when it really should have been. Some if the best food I've had for years here in Italy though (I live here). And you can park outside.

26/10/2025: A fantastic discovery. I went there for dinner yesterday for the first time and will definitely be back. Wonderful dishes prepared with top-quality seasonal ingredients. Honorable mention goes to the gnocchi with parmesan cream and truffle. The wine list is also excellent and extensive. The staff, led by Massimiliano and Marianna, is friendly, polite, and always attentive to their guests' needs...they make you feel welcome...
