01/07/2025: Typical Italian place for locals, open from 6 am, locals come for breakfast (coffee + croissant or focaccia). Very nice service, delicious coffee, delicious croissants. Family atmosphere, great!!!

31/08/2025: Honestly, the best gelato in the area. Every time I come to Loano, it's a must-visit. Delicious artisanal gelato, and the owner and daughter are incredibly kind and friendly! And their dulce de leche gelato is a real treat; it takes me back to my roots and I could eat tons of it all the time! Very fair prices, and the gelato is better than other, more famous gelato shops in the area! Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: A very good Ligurian culinary experience, but not only in this very welcoming little restaurant with a beautiful wine list where you will be given many explanations... in French please! We realize that these very friendly people love their job! An enchanting place, even if on the side of the road, in an intimate, relaxing and green setting (outdoor terrace). The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and presentation of the dishes, even if in a higher range than more classic restaurants in the area. We came there on a Sunday in July, and it was a good thing that it was open, unlike most of the restaurants in the area. Note the very clean toilets, which contrasts with quite a few restaurants on the nearby French coast. Go there! You shouldn't be disappointed!

18/08/2025: Excellent products, but you have to be patient! We had a 30-minute wait for a table despite a reservation. The place was so chaotic that the four of us couldn't even talk to each other. The atmosphere was beautiful and well-kept. The service was excellent, and the waiters were really good. Nothing to say about the "meat": it was truly excellent. That's what makes you go there.

25/08/2025: Excellent place to try testaroli and panigacci. Both dishes are very tasty. Plus, if you're patient enough to stop for a moment to watch the fire heating the testi, you can watch the panigacci being prepared and cooked. It's a spectacle. I've been told the meat is also very good, but I'll try this one next time. Definitely a place to stop at least once when you're in the area. Reservations are essential, because, given the low prices—which is obviously a great thing—it's packed. Well done guys, keep it up!

18/08/2025: Every summer I choose to eat at the Vecchio Mulino. The ravioli and panigacci are a guarantee, along with excellent cold cuts and cheeses, including the vegetarian option! The waitresses who served us were always friendly and smiling, despite the large crowd and the chaos! Plenty of parking and a lovely outdoor area!

31/08/2025: To make amends, I wasn't very familiar with Lavina, a hamlet in Rezzo, even though I'm from Imperia. It's a beautiful village crossed by the Arroscia stream. The restaurant itself represents the local area 100%, with typical Ligurian dishes (e.g., rabbit and snails). The food is excellent, and the service is good. The restaurant itself isn't particularly vibrant; it could be better. However, the quality/price ratio is top-notch.

29/08/2025: The staff is quite friendly, very discreet, and the owner is very helpful. I bought her book, which is definitely expensive for a notebook, but she never refuses to help someone who writes about themselves. The food is good, like eating at home, simple and quite refined. The snails, which were supposed to be the star dish, aren't special, but in my opinion they're neutral; they should be tastier, more personalized in their flavor. Certainly, given the context—a beautiful day that I'll repeat—these are places that shouldn't disappear, and perhaps opening in the evening wouldn't be a bad idea at all.
