15/02/2025: An exceptional place to come and eat with family or friends. Generous and very good homemade cuisine. Being vegetarians, we were treated to a 100% vegetarian menu, which was very appreciable and a treat. You can even buy some of their products before leaving. It is possible to eat outside with a beautiful view of the sea and the singing of birds. A very pleasant place to stop during a day of hiking or cycling.

29/12/2024: An enchanting refuge immersed in the tranquility of the woods. The atmosphere is authentic and relaxing. The food is exceptional, with genuine, home-prepared dishes that enhance the flavors of tradition. The owners are extremely welcoming and make guests feel at home.

01/04/2025: Simple menu, yet so much satisfying! We chose this restaurant based on very good reviews. Already half an hour before opening time there was a line of people waiting for their table. The place is very cosy, just a few tables (waiting in the line makes sense I guess), decorated by owner’s valuables including family pictures. I loved the atmosphere. As appetiser we ordered acciughe (anchovy) platter. Man, that was a lot of acciughe! But all were very nice, prepared in different flavours and techniques and with a bowl of mussels. For mains we chose 2 types of pasta - ravioli and testaroli. Testaroli come from ancient times and look like sponge squares, which is not a very appetising appearance. It tastes better than it looks - happy I have tried it, but nothing I would be craving for in the future. Our secondo piatto was the octopus - very tender and just delicious! We skipped the dessert and had a coffee with digestivo - homemade herbal liquor. Would come back any time!

27/01/2025: It was a small restaurant where you need to share table with other people since there are no space. Luckily we waited at 9pm but still there’s still alot of people at that time. We ordered seafood and lamb. It was pricey for the seafood which is only small pieces. But the lamb was good.

23/03/2025: Locale caratteristico nel centro storico di Rapallo.Pur essendo un locale frequentato dai turisti Abitando a Rapallo e’ uno dei pochi ristoranti che frequento con regolarità. Menù di ottima qualità (pane e focaccia fatta in casa)con piatti tipici della cucina ligure sia di pesce che di carne molto ben presentati e con qualche rivisitazione deliziosa. Eccellenti i dolci. Buona l’offerta dei vini con qualche etichetta di alta qualità . Personale professionale e accogliente . Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

The environment is simple, without particular scenography, but welcoming. The dishes remind you of those at home: authentic flavors, right portions and quality ingredients. Nice discovery. 10/04/2025: We recently dined at this restaurant, which offers good Italian food but at an overly high price. You can find similar or better dishes at other good restaurants in Santa Margherita for half the cost. Some reviews suggest it's "almost Michelin level," but in reality, it falls far short of that standard. We started with scallops, which were decent but not on par with gourmet standards. The octopus as a second course was underwhelming and chewy, with presentation that lacked finesse. However, the desserts—Neapolitan tart and cheesecake—were excellent and the only dishes that approached a gourmet level. The service was disappointing; our waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and wine list, possibly her first day on the job. The atmosphere was okay but not impressive. Overall, the food was good (4 stars), but the prices were not justified (2 stars). We won't return due to the high cost for average, non-gourmet food.

07/01/2025: Very nice place, simple but full of warmth, colors and hospitality. Excellent menu, very fresh fish, thin pizza, high and crispy edges, top quality ingredients. Tasty and scenic desserts. Attentive and prepared waiting staff. We ended up there by chance and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We will definitely be back, heartfelt compliments to all the staff and thanks for the excellent dinner.
