03/09/2025: A special evening requires a special place, a special setting, and special treatment. We wanted to treat ourselves this evening, on a normal Wednesday in early September, going to a new place that inspired us based on reviews seen here on Google Maps, as many do. The high scores were absolutely deserved. Courteous staff accompanied the dishes served with accurate descriptions, taking care of the guest from the very beginning with a delicate welcome entrée that, in our case, immediately delighted our taste buds. A delicate octopus and a plate of stuffed zucchini flowers made us understand that every star was deserved. For me, a fried vegetable and mixed seafood dish captured my desire for fish with a hint of sage. My wife's ravioli (also fish-based) were enveloping and very flavorful, with a reduction that was more of a composition of flavors than a condiment. Our daughter didn't want us to finish dinner, so she had to finish it early. Despite this, I was pleasantly surprised by a mini selection of desserts for two at the restaurant, which I unfortunately wasn't able to try. They also took care of our little dog and the needs of our little girl and her food. A restaurant I've already started recommending to everyone I know and intend to do so here too. 02/09/2025: After many years of not coming to this restaurant, we returned on Friday, August 29th. Unfortunately, it was a very windy evening, cold, and our table was on the outdoor lawn. It was impossible to sit inside; fortunately, they moved us to the veranda, where the difference was minimal. Although there are side awnings, they weren't used. We couldn't sit inside. We agreed, but had a quick dinner (depending on the service) and then left. The food is always good, and the service is decent, but it's not the Babette of a few years ago. Still, recommended, but check the weather forecast. My review is meant to be critical, not polemical, and as I always say, it's based on my personal opinion and quality standards.

20/08/2025: A chic restaurant with delicious cuisine in a charming location. The portions are incredible, the fish is excellent; I recommend the grilled seafood, the fish soup, and the fresh fish menu. We also received many compliments on the prosecco, focaccia, breadsticks, and water.

20/08/2025: A slightly overrated note on the food side: lobster pasta: the lobster is overcooked, it's real mush and the pasta sauce doesn't have much flavor. For dessert: pineapple carpaccio with a scoop of very "industrial" vanilla ice cream, no flavor, especially not vanilla! It's a shame to eat bad ice cream in Italy 🇮🇹

30/07/2025: The staff was very welcoming, the location is super cozy and the tables are very well set, I enjoyed a dish of troffies al pesto and it was perfectly fine, not too salty with chunks of potato. The white wine was delicious and fresh. We had a great time

28/07/2025: The Osteria dell’Uva is centrally located and has a nice menu. The Carbonnara is really tasty. During our visit, there was a small “show” from street artists at the intersection, which wasn’t to our liking, but others seemed to enjoy it.

20/08/2025: Dinner was enjoyed in a lovely outdoor courtyard. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The dishes were delicious; we had amberjack tartar and capon magro for appetizers, and seafood ravioli and pasta with clams for main courses (the latter being a standout). If you're passing through Chiavari, this is a must-try. One caveat: the menu is perhaps a little limited; I'd add at least one more first course.

17/08/2025: We ate at Trattoria Trallallero during our stay in Genoa and loved it so much we returned the second night! The location is charming and welcoming, with a simple yet very pleasant atmosphere. The waiter was friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The first night, we tried the appetizers and gnocchi with pesto: truly delicious, with a delicate and authentic pesto. The second night, we opted for the fresh seafood pasta: a dish packed with mussels and very flavorful, which completely satisfied us.

17/08/2025: I dined at this trattoria with my family on two consecutive evenings, on Ferragosto (the holiday of August 15th) and the following evening (a Saturday), both on busy days and at busy times. Despite this, the staff was always friendly, organized, and had a warm and welcoming attitude that made us feel at home. The menu isn't extensive, but it's rich in traditional dishes and unique offerings. We really enjoyed the Recco focaccia, a real discovery, served with a touch of pesto that made it even more delicious. The meat-filled pasta with the typical tuccu sauce was also excellent, as was the pasta with walnut cream, a delicate yet bold dish. On the second evening, we indulged in the tommaselle, another traditional specialty with a flavorful and original filling. The dessert selection is also limited but well thought out, alternating classic desserts with Ligurian specialties. Worthy of note is the fried sweet milk served with Chantilly cream, truly delicious, and the tiramisu in a glass, generous and topped with a generous layer of cocoa. The atmosphere is refined, clean, and tastefully decorated, exuding a sense of warmth and welcome. Combining the quality of the cuisine with the friendliness of the staff, this trattoria was a delightful discovery that I recommend to anyone who wants to experience Ligurian cuisine in an authentic, family-friendly atmosphere.
