07/05/2025: Very kind guys, they took care of our experience in every detail. We were in a hurry for work reasons and they served us in record time. Gnocchi and pesto made by them with an excellent taste and texture! Really interesting wine list! The only regret is that I didn't take my phone into the bathroom to take photos: even there, details that will leave you speechless! Congratulations to all the staff!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

05/05/2025: Ristorante con proposte particolari, ideale per una cena tranquilla: ambiente di recente ristrutturazione, curato nei dettagli e negli arredi, semplice ma con particolarità. Staff gentile e cortese, servizio scandito bene. Piatti preparati con attenzione, prodotti di qualità che conferma la passione e competenza di chi ci lavora. Carta dei vini ottima, con etichette della zona e meno conosciute. Ottima esperienza gastronomica, da provare per veri amanti della cucina e della qualità.

22/06/2025: June 21, 2025: a quick visit to Liguria, aimed at buying good oil! A culinary stop highly recommended by "Matetti" in Alassio. A tasty menu that offered us fish ravioli with tomato sauce and clams, tagliolini with fish ragout, mixed fried fish with potatoes, Ligurian-style rabbit with potatoes and very soft calamari, cooked with trumpet courgettes. And to finish, the fabulous hot apple fritters with or without chocolate sauce...and let's not miss the coffee with the aromatic Camatti bitter (30 euros per person!!!!🌞) Kind, prompt, fast and friendly staff. A place with notable pieces of vintage furniture. But, please, remember to book!

15/06/2025: For the first time we go to the very renowned Scalvini restaurant, a beautiful experience starting with the staff, super professional and prepared to explain the various dishes, Mrs. Roberta very nice, impeccable service, starred restaurant dishes, not a big place but better this way, very well cared for in every detail, quiet environment. We felt very pampered, I recommend it to everyone, we will definitely return.

08/07/2025: Dear Restaurant Team. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience. We had a table for four people with you on June 11, 2025. On that evening, a couple we were with in Italy ordered a fried fish platter, which they then ate and then complained about... because a fried platter that had been over-fried tasted disgusting. We ourselves found this behavior repulsive, which was also very embarrassing. Therefore, we, who were unfortunately there, can only apologize for this rude behavior. In retrospect, we could have at least tipped you enough to cover the cost of the fish platter. (We only had two pizzas ourselves, as we are not fish fans.) For all the other fish lovers... This is a super restaurant. And you can tell by how busy it is. So, once again, we apologize for the behavior of the other couple. Hello team at the restaurant. With the present desideriamo scusarci per il disagio causato. The 11th of June 2025 will have a table for 4 people at the restaurant. Well, a coppia with cui eravamo stati in Italy ha ordinato a piatto di fish fritto, which is stato poi consumato e per il quale è stateta presentata una reclamo... perché il piatto fritto aveva a sapore troppo forte. Noi stessi abbiamo trovato this comportamento ripugnante e ci siamo sentiti molto in imbarazzo. Pertanto, noi che purtroppo eravamo presenti, non possiamo che scusarci per questo comportamento scandaloso. When you have the fish, you can always leave a sufficient amount of money to cover the cost of the fish. (Noi abbiamo mangiato solo 2 pizza, but not siamo amanti del pesce). For the rest, we like the fish... Questo is a fantastic restaurant. This is also the quantity that is frequent. Pertanto, ci scusiamo ancora una volta per il comportamento dell'altra coppia.

26/06/2025: This is a restaurant that will never surprise you, apart from the beautiful setting, created from an ancient oratory adjacent to the ancient church of the village. It does not surprise you but that does not mean that it cannot surprise you with a menu not recommended for vegetarians (absolutely forbidden to the new food Taliban) but perfectly capable of awakening the appetites of normal carnivores. 07/06/2025: Siamo clienti affezionati di questo meraviglioso ristorante e tornare è sempre un piacere sconfinato. La prima cosa che colpisce ogni volta è la ricercatezza dei piatti, ogni portata è una piccola opera d’arte, curata nei minimi dettagli e pensata con grande creatività dallo chef. Gli ingredienti sono di altissima qualità, freschissimi e selezionati con attenzione, il che si traduce in sapori autentici e sorprendenti. Lo chef dimostra una maestria incredibile, riuscendo a combinare tradizione e innovazione in modo perfetto. Ogni sorta di piatto ha quel tocco in più che rende la cena speciale, facendoci sentire ogni volta coccolati e viziati. Lo staff poi è sempre molto gentile e professionale, ti fa sentire come a casa, con un sorriso sincero e una cura che si percepisce in ogni dettaglio del servizio. Il locale è accogliente, particolare, perfetto per una serata in cui si desidera sentirsi davvero coccolati in un ambiente curato con gusto. In poche parole, un’esperienza culinaria che consiglio a chi cerca qualità, bellezza e un’atmosfera intima e raffinata. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

01/06/2025: Siamo stati da Carlo per una cena speciale in famiglia e siamo stati benissimo. Ogni piatto, studiato nei dettagli, è’ stato una sorpresa di sapori. Servizio impeccabile e location suggestiva, curata nei dettagli. Consigliatissimo!

21/06/2025: Awesome ribs and fillet. So nice to eat real unpretentious food at a great price. Came with a fresh garden salad which we have been craving for days. This is the alternative to pizza you have been looking for

15/06/2025: Really simple and spartan place (in the positive sense of the word). The meat is really good and the burgers are made with heart. The fries, not greasy at all, very good. The bbq sauce made by them 10 and praise. Excellent service in search of customer satisfaction.

20/06/2025: This is always a very safe place to take any foreign (foresti) friends to taste proper Genoese food. I loved the usual trofie al pesto and pansotti al sugo di noci, but the most impressive dish time time were the gnocchi with chestnut flour and pesto. Melting in your mouth. Plus a proper Pigato that reminds you of the sea and all the good things that come with it.

05/07/2025: Experience of the highest level. Quality of the raw materials, creativity and competence of the chef combined with a welcoming and formally impeccable service. In its category I consider it one of the best I have tried ... I hope to be able to return as soon as possible! Absolutely correct price in relation to what is offered, very extensive and updated wine list with more than fair markups. Difficult to ask for more.

11/07/2025: We're on vacation here in Albenga, and for my daughter's birthday, we ordered a cake from this pastry shop. The staff are incredibly friendly, the price is fair, and the cake is excellent. Every time you come in, they always give you a taste of one of their sweet treats. After picking up the cake, they also gave me a bag of savory tarallini because they've been making savory ones for a year now... Highly recommended!
