26/09/2025: A tempting menu on paper, but a huge disappointment. Aside from the lasagna, the dishes were poorly prepared. Boiled calamari, bland pesto, tasteless ricotta, flavorless savory cake... and no zucchini flowers even though they appear in the ingredient list. The marzipan cookies were particularly disappointing. In short, we were very disappointed.

06/10/2025: The menu was simply excellent, and we'd never eaten like this before. There was no menu at this restaurant!!! because everyone ate the same meal, but we counted 16 courses, skipping the degustiva at the end. Here, one local delicacy after another was placed on our table. Bottles of wine (red and white), bread, and water were available at the table. The food was served by diligent and consistently friendly and helpful waiters. The noise level was occasionally a bit disturbing, given the approximately 80-90 people in the room. Many people ate the same meal, but I still didn't feel like I was being mass-produced, which I attribute to the waiters; it was simply a fantastic experience. The entire meal, including wine, cost €36 and lasted 3.5 hours.

03/08/2025: An old-fashioned restaurant in this Arroscia Valley village where I had lunch on this first Sunday in August. Home-style cooking, good ingredients, and authentic flavors. Various appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and two desserts. Wine is already on the table when you arrive. Table service could be improved. Good value.

08/09/2025: A very charming place in the alleys of the historic center, with an excellent selection of wines and beers, generous aperitifs accompanied by a delicious platter of cured meats and other delicious food. Dinner options include interesting, never boring, hot and cold dishes. Truly welcoming and helpful staff.

12/10/2025: Forget it. €63 per person for subpar dishes. The cheese platter was as poor as the quality. The amount of meat indicated on the menu was not reflected in the dishes, which were also not good. The atmosphere was noisy and cold.

11/10/2025: They've been wanting to bring me here to eat for at least 20 years, but for various reasons we'd never managed to arrange it. Today, I had a whim and decided to leave from Milan and arrive 150 km later in this little village above Genoa. Unfortunately, getting there wasn't easy due to the usual problems on the A7 on the Serravalle motorway, with long queues and detours. The restaurant has become a go-to for many who want to eat both Genoese cuisine and, when in season, mushrooms prepared in every way. All the dishes I ordered were excellent: mushroom and fondue tart, ravioli col tuccu, Ligurian mixed fried fish, fried porcini mushrooms, veal with porcini mushrooms. The desserts were excellent: Monte Bianco, tart with 4-chocolate parfait, carrot cake. The price was adequate for the quality of the food and service. A good wine list with reasonably priced, quality offerings. The only negative was the noise in the dining room, which I believe was due to the poorly designed acoustics (and especially to a group of children who were very poorly managed, which is certainly not the fault of the management...). Well done everyone, especially the lovely young waiters who looked after us. A wonderful experience!

23/10/2025: This is my first time there, and I had a great time...large, very filling, and delicious crepes. Anyone who likes crepes and this is the place to go. Thank you so much, everything was perfect.

16/09/2025: We ate sgabei, pan pizza, and savoury celeste, plus citron and menta sorbet. Everything was excellent, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was lively but not noisy. My partner and I will be back.

23/09/2025: This place would piss on top of many other places in Turin and Milan. QUALITY! The only flaw is the licorice and sweets on display... the fizzy pacifiers are missing!! 😄😄😄 They deserve a HUNDRED for their kindness and politeness alone. I will confirm.

20/09/2025: My husband and I stopped for an aperitivo and we both had a great time. I tried a rose-flavored drink that I think was called Midnight Sunrise and I really liked it—it was light and had a bold flavor.

02/10/2025: No frills tasty food for a fair price with good service in a beautiful location. I couldn’t decide on a dish and the man behind the counter let me taste a few first. Clearly some locals/regulars eating there as well. As a tourist it’s exactly the type of place you want to find amongst a sea of overpriced mediocre restaurants!

08/10/2025: I chose this restaurant based on Google reviews, and I had high expectations. The reality exceeded my expectations, and the restaurant is a very pleasant and unexpected surprise, despite its somewhat hidden exterior (the entrance is through a side door). The dishes are extremely carefully crafted, innovative, and beautifully presented, with excellent ingredients and very friendly and impeccable service. The presence of the chef in the dining room and the open kitchen are another plus. The wine list is also excellent, with a fairly wide range of prices. The taglioli with squid ink and breaded tuna are fantastic, and the desserts are superb. We would gladly return.

22/09/2025: There are no words to describe how delicious the focaccia is from this bakery! I usually order trays of focaccia from Milan before I even leave to make sure I have it when I arrive 🤭! Your focaccia is so good! 🔝👏🏻🙏 The wait depends a lot on the day and time. Obviously, in the summer, there's a longer wait on Saturdays, but it's worth it!
