27/09/2025: Have you ever seen a freshly caught amberjack? Then head to Mariolino's. His son Daniele runs the restaurant at the port. You'll find this and many other freshly caught fish, including plenty of lobster. And they know how to cook it, too. Yesterday we had the truly excellent baked sea bass, and today we're having grilled lobster, and first of all the red prawns from Ponza, raw, truly delicious. And to finish, you can't miss the ice cream, which he also makes, having taken over the ice cream shop next door, and he's no slouch when it comes to ice cream.

17/08/2025: the worst bread I've ever eaten

14/08/2025: There was no wait because it's takeout only. I remembered the quality of the pizza and focaccia, which unfortunately is now non-existent. Last week I bought €20 worth of pizzas, from Margherita to zucchini, plus a focaccia topping. Flavorless shoe soles... a disgrace! In other times, I would have complained in person, which is my preferred method because it's more correct, but what's the point these days? Only what passes for a review counts, so I'll go along with it.

08/11/2025: The food was very good, the meat was very tender and perfectly cooked. The staff was attentive, especially Anka, who was a delightful person and helpful with customers. The room was very welcoming.

The menu offers a wide selection, but since the cuisine offers fairly innovative dishes, you need to choose carefully. Some dishes are excellent, others are bland, even if elaborate. Excellent service. The quality/price ratio is average. Worth a try, even in winter, with different dishes.

27/08/2025: It was an exceptional discovery, it was recommended to us by Giovanni from Lido Mare Vivo, we had a great time, everything was delicious from the starter to the dessert, the owners were excellent hosts and the waiters were excellent.

18/10/2025: Our experience with this restaurant had been modest until recently but recently it was the worst experience of my life. Peppered mussels without garlic or oil... boiled in water... spaghetti with lupini beans boiled without oil or salt. Little frying but good. The amberjack and turbot were rubbery anyway, they will go to the chickens. They shouldn't be thrown away. Terrible experience. I won't go back... place full of flies.

17/08/2025: I went to this gelateria after a friend recommended it. The gelato was really good, especially the secret recipe flavor. The staff was very friendly and fast. Definitely worth a try.

09/11/2025: First of all, I'd like to offer some constructive criticism. We went for dinner last night. The pizza and fried food were very good, and the service was quick and helpful. The only BIG flaw was seeing the owner on the phone and smoking a vape while he was putting the pizzas in the oven... very unprofessional and unhygienic. ✋️

04/10/2025: I was at the agriturismo last evening with my family. As soon as we entered, we weren't greeted at all; in fact, we were made to feel rather intimidated, having to find a table ourselves. We then ordered four pizzas, which were delivered 25 minutes later than the others, having probably been forgotten by the kitchen. To finish off with a flourish, we ordered classic tiramisu, probably made either with a different recipe we weren't familiar with, or with extremely low-quality ingredients. We were served by a very friendly young man, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to offset the rudeness of the owners. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be back; I don't recommend it.
