29/11/2025: Today is the third time I've eaten at this restaurant, and I can only say that the food has always been good and the staff very friendly. I really liked that little detail: the dog water bowls. I highly recommend it.

21/12/2025: The tiella was inedible, the octopus was old to say the least. Before we knew it, half of it had been offered and eaten by guests who don't normally eat octopus. Serving food of this quality is unacceptable, especially with the risk of health consequences. A terrible experience.

15/12/2025: Excellent variety of topped pizzas, and the desserts and variety of tarallucci are also good. Excellent service.

31/05/2026: We decided to return to this restaurant despite two previous bad experiences with slow service, with us waiting up to an hour for two pizzas. Yesterday, confidently, we invited some friends along to anticipate the problem, but they broke all records by making us wait about 30 minutes for water and beer. After 45 minutes, the appetizers finally arrived, all staggered, and finally, after a good hour, the pizza arrived, followed by a course every 30 minutes. Our friends' two entrees still hadn't arrived after 30 minutes. Upon our prompting, we managed to get them, only to be told they'd "perhaps" forgotten the delivery. In short, everyone ate cold food and did their own thing. We were hoping the other courses would arrive. Do you think we got a simple apology? Arrogantly, we were shrugged, as if to say, "That's how it works here!" Good luck to the poor, unsuspecting customers.

30/05/2026: AMBIENCE: Today I had lunch at the "da Marcello" restaurant in Pontinia. The restaurant is very well-maintained and spacious, both inside and out. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. EXPERIENCE: The house mixed antipasto consists of several courses, including: tomato and basil bruschetta, mixed cold cuts, fried meats, olives, vegetables, eggplant parmigiana, polenta, and mozzarella balls. Everything was fresh and delicious. For starters, I had a sample of strozzapreti with speck and radicchio, which were truly delicious, and a sample of gnocchi with ragù, which were equally delicious. For dessert, I had vanilla ice cream with apples and cinnamon, which was a delightful and surprising end to my meal.

31/05/2026: Excellent platter, and the beer, even on tap, wasn't great. What surprised me was the Campari Spritz, which I've never seen served in such a small glass...and it cost 7 euros. If you want me to come back, change your glasses; these tricks will only cost you customers.

13/09/2025: Disappointing, the atmosphere is squalid to say the least. Even more disappointing is the quality of the pizza: cheap, hard-discount ingredients, like the tomato sauce and fake mozzarella on the Margherita. Plus, the prices are outrageous for what they offer. Half a slice of Margherita pizza and two draft beers cost €27. Considering there's no service, you eat it with your hands, no plate or cutlery.

21/08/2025: Very simple place, they bring you a pizza peel and you eat without plates. The pizza is really good! Takeout is also available.

24/09/2025: A nice, spacious space with outdoor tables, it serves as a bar and bakery/pizza-by-the-slice restaurant. The bread is well-made, light, and easy to digest. The pizza is well-seasoned and reasonably priced, considering it's sold by the slice, not by weight.

20/05/2026: As simple as it may seem, finding a delicious, fresh croissant and a well-made cappuccino isn't always as easy as you might think. And here you can find both!

08/08/2025: This fry shop is truly the best in Scauri. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Definitely a huge improvement over the old management, which drove customers away due to lack of courtesy. Keep it up!

08/03/2026: When I leave the coffee undrunk, and tell you it's a chore and ask if you've changed the blend, it's because it was truly awful. It's not okay to downplay my criticism. Just as it's not okay to not ring up the receipt and say the cashier "won't go this morning."

20/08/2025: A truly pleasant café: the cappuccino is excellent, the pastries always fresh and inviting. The atmosphere is modern, tidy, and has a refined style that makes the place welcoming. A plus for the staff: the barista and waitress are always smiling and kind, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. Recommended for a relaxing break 😎☕

10/05/2026: Unfortunately, nothing positive. A nauseating smell permeates the entire place. Minimal welcome and products (perhaps from the day before) aren't exactly good. Watching the croissants being placed from the oven tray onto the bar counter, with tongs and hands (without gloves), wasn't very pleasant. Cleanliness was lacking and a mess everywhere. I saw trays being washed directly with the tea spout from the coffee machine! A cappuccino and a croissant cost €2.80 (at the counter). NO THANKS.

12/01/2026: Excellent bar for breakfast, a quick lunch, or an aperitif. The girls are super friendly and kind, the music puts everyone in a good mood, and the food is top-notch. There's an enclosed, heated outdoor area with tables and chairs. A great option for anyone passing through Piccarello.
