18/08/2024: Cooperativa dei Pescatori, located near the Port of Terracina and a few steps from the seafront, which offers dishes based on mainly fresh fish (wide choice from hot and cold appetizers, to first and second courses). Possibility of eating both inside and outside along the road and on the bridge that connects the 2 banks of the canal. Considering the competitive prices (see menu photo) and the generous portions, the place is usually very crowded at both lunch and dinner. Therefore, to avoid queuing, I recommend arriving just before 8pm for dinner. The style of the place is self-service with a tray and the possibility of choosing what to eat by taking a look at the long counter and what has just been prepared. Nice, friendly and super helpful staff. A guarantee for a nice fish-based meal!

18/07/2024: 11/07/2024 - Birthday dinner with a group of families with children. Fantastic midweek evening, where everything was perfect: food, atmosphere, children's playground, ample parking and, last but not least, a chance close encounter with a mother boar with her cubs 🥰 The atmosphere is familiar and so is the food, starting from the appetizer including a spectacular stuffed courgette flower! The first courses were really tasty: my son devoured the tagliatella with mushrooms and sausage! Not least the paccheri all'ortolana. Excellent local sausage: they served it to us with a focaccia made of pizza dough with a very light 72 hour leavening. Good mixed meat and cooked well. HAND CUT Homemade French Fries!!! I highly recommend going there during the week to enjoy the atmosphere of the place, without crowd stress. HONEST price!!! We will DEFINITELY be back! Thank you!

10/08/2024: Go for the service but for the rest really forgettable! Absurdly hot without air conditioning.. in fact it was there but it hasn't been used since the 60s as the rest of the place has remained! No food even in the barracks canteen during military service. It was a nightmare! I went to the bathroom...I thought I was in a truck stop but the worst of all...I rated 0 on absolutely everything.

The cuisine is also disconnected, with overcooked and cold meats. A smash sandwich with zero pecorino sauce, a hint of postcard bacon sauce. At the King in Velletri I ate divinely because it's not that the food is bad at the B. King... The food is bad in Aprilia 2 and for a 12 euro menu is UNACCEPTABLE.
