The outdoor tables, set on the medieval basalt slabs under a portico framed by historic homes, create an intimate and charming atmosphere, perfect for a summer evening. We began with a selection of fried foods that to call excellent is an understatement: croquettes, supplì, zucchini flowers, and battered cod with pepper cream that will remain etched in your memory for its lightness, balance, and flavor. The pizza, soft and well-topped, recalls the Campania tradition without being overly thick, a carefully crafted dough that showcases every ingredient. The craft beer list is surprising, featuring quality Italian labels, and the wine selection, though smaller, is well-curated. Making the evening even more enjoyable was the company of Maurizio, the pizza chef and the soul of the place: passionate, welcoming, and always ready to share the story of his craft. His attention to the quality of the ingredients and the digestibility of the dough is evident in every dish. La Giudea isn't just a pizzeria: it's a journey through authentic flavors and local history, led by someone who truly loves what they do. Highly recommended.

Besides being welcomed in a setting surrounded by greenery and boasting a beautiful sea view, we found the staff to be friendly, courteous, and kind. And if that weren't enough, we enjoyed an excellent and hearty lunch that met and exceeded our expectations! Furthermore, the value for money was truly excellent! A final thank you to Valentino, who does his job with passion and kindness, pampering his guests from start to finish!

23/09/2025: Four unforgettable dinners, simple yet delicious! The first and second courses were all seafood-based. I cut the paccheri, with mussels and fried eggplant, in half to prolong the enjoyment. Halfway through the seafood risotto, I asked for seconds. We were a group of 34 hikers, and everyone was thrilled. A huge thank you to the owner Giuseppe and his staff, who truly delighted us.

08/10/2025: Great food, friendly service. They have special gluten free menu, they have a separate pizza oven for gluten free pizza in a fully separated kitchen from the main kitchen to avoid contamination through air. Perfect for people with celiac.

20/06/2025: This evening I ordered a shrimp and calamari fry to eat at home, (I'll start by saying that I'm a fan of this dish, and that I order it wherever I go) the result was... FABULOUS. 28/05/2025: Everything is always perfect! We had dinner last night and I must say that we have been vegetarians for about a year. We had already been there as omnivores and we were always super satisfied with the delicious proposals; this time we were a little afraid of having to, as often happens, settle for the usual only alternative but our doubts vanished after a few minutes when the kitchen made itself available to us to modify what we wanted and also to propose dishes that were not on the menu. From appetizer to dessert a continuous joy. For us it is a guarantee!

During peak hours you may have to wait a bit due to the influx of customers including workers and students but given the quality this is to be expected. Located near the Sapienza University and the post office centre, a must for those who choose a quick and tasty lunch.
