Piscaria Del Bugiardo In Verona

Really good food experience. We went there for dinner. The waiter was super kind: he even brought some water for our two small dogs. Location is incredible and the wine they suggested, a local red wine , to accompany a wonderful seafood, well … it really was super super good. The final glass of Amarone Grappa was superb! I am a super happy client 😊

A restaurant that is part of the now well-known Buglioni winery chain, focused on fish cuisine, the modern and pleasant location is located in the historic center of Verona, refined and tasty cicchetti, excellent quality raw materials well prepared in the kitchen, excellent pairings and high-level appetizers. Obviously nothing to comment on the wine list, prices higher than average but in line with the products offered, the only thing to point out, in my opinion, is that the administration of wine by the glass is truly at the limit of acceptable in terms of quantity, taking into account that they don't even offer a chip but it's all made to order, but this is just a note, otherwise I recommend it to everyone and I congratulate this historic business in the Verona area.

The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, excellent music and good service. The food deserves an average rating. Unfortunately, the food was not to our taste - bland and nothing special. We wouldn't come back here again.

Today for lunch two of us ate very well. The fried fish from Paranza was exquisite, the salmon and tuna crudités truly delicious.

Good quality of service. Excellent starters. I expected something more from the polenta, the risotto was really good.

4 of us at the table. Everything starts well. Then 2 of us started eating our second course and the other 2 after half an hour still nothing. Once I told the waiter he partially solved it... the dishes arrived but they were wrong.🙄 It wasn't our night.

I rarely review, but this was a very pleasant surprise. Having passed by the place by chance during aperitif time, we were greeted by a knowledgeable and kind boy. We had fish and prosecco, excellent quality, price commensurate with the quality offered and the intimate and elegant location. If I pass through Verona, I will gladly return. Well done!

Scelta di vini fantastica Abbiamo mangiato fusilli al ragù di polpo molto buono Il cichetto di riso patate e cozze aveva le patate bruciate, peccato. La polenta con cicoria, alici e stracciatella era buonissima. Il pesce del giorno era la orata con spinaci, era cotta come si deve.

La formula è quella delle tapas per fare tanti assaggi nei lunghi aperitivi di Verona. Solo che al posto dei classici piatti veronesi c’è il pesce, però con il senso della veronesità! I grandi vini ben si abbinano al pesce grigliato alla giapponese o alle capesante con la pearà! Identità!
