25/06/2026: quite good value for your money. Friendly service and quality coffe and food. You can drink and eat while the kids are playing in the sand or in the Adria. ❤️🤌

14/06/2026: Thick-crust pizza slices that tasted good. The service was a bit chaotic, but quite alright. The location is lovely by the sea, but the bar is also the only access from the campsite to the beach, so there's almost constant foot traffic.

27/07/2026: I have been in Italy 10 days and never experienced such rude service. The two ladies working this morning were outrageously rude and literally yelled at us for ordering to go but then snacking on our food while waiting for our espresso. I’m Pretty sure after yelling at us in English, they cursed us out in Italian. It was simply ridiculous and an unsettling experience.

26/07/2026: We had coffee in the morning and came back again in the afternoon. Delicious, reasonably priced, with tasty pastries and freshly squeezed fruit juice. We recommend it!

02/05/2026: They have the option of shared rooms for women only. The room is clean, spacious, and nice. It has a large bathroom. The staff is attentive and speaks and understands Spanish, English, and Italian.

29/04/2026: We arrived at the hostel as part of a study trip. The trip went very well, but the food and even the surroundings weren't as impressive as the magnificent view or the location itself, even though you have to take a boat to get to the heart of Venice. I'm giving the food 3 out of 5 stars because the butter often seemed expired, and once the chicken was slightly pink, which isn't a huge deal, but chicken is a meat that should be cooked thoroughly. As for the rooms, I give them 4 out of 5 because a few earaches and some broken items were a bit of a nuisance, but nothing too serious. The beds are quite comfortable, but the only real downside is the "certificate" – it's just a metal plate with a hole in it, even if you don't necessarily feel it while sleeping. As for the hostel's aesthetics, it's a 5 out of 5. It's very nice, and there are several activities available, like foosball, billiards, and even a PS5. The place is very cozy, there's a nice bar in the middle, and it's very well organized, from the decor to the activities. Conclusion: a good experience overall, especially for a study trip.

09/06/2026: Disappointing in every way. We entered with the desire for a nice Italian breakfast and left with a bitter taste in our mouths, and not because of the coffee. The pastries were old, clearly not fresh that day, the kind that seems to have been there since the opening without ever being replaced. For a pastry shop, this is simply unacceptable. The juice was a real joke: the price of a grand hotel, the glass like a barista's. Small, half ice and unfiltered water, with just a drop of orange juice to justify the price on the menu. Hats off to the cheek. The only positive note is the waiter, kind and helpful, probably the freshest person in the place. Not recommended for those looking for a truly high-quality pastry shop, for those who want a proper Italian breakfast, and in general for anyone who cares about food and value for money. For the same money, you can eat much better elsewhere.

06/05/2026: We sat in the sun by the canal, and it was the perfect plan. We had breakfast and lunch there too. The food is good and the prices are reasonable, but the real difference is the location and the view.

09/04/2026: The food was terribly bad. We ordered risotto and gnocchi. The gnocchi was clearly one of those supermarket ones, and some of it was raw. Not soft at all, and a very small portion with almost no sauce. The risotto was supposed to be seafood, but we could barely find any pieces. The broth was thin, watery, and tasteless. It seemed like a risotto made of broth and rice, without cheese. Besides being bad, the food took a long time to arrive. Disappointing!

18/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at Trattoria Marciana! The owner is a delightful lady, exceptionally kind, and all the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. We had truly delicious spaghetti with clams and an equally delicious Milanese cutlet with fries. Generous portions, excellent food, and a warm welcome that made you feel right at home. Everything was truly perfect: we'll definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend it!

13/05/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. Don't even bother going there. It's the worst restaurant we've ever been to. They can't even make a Margherita pizza, which is ridiculous for an Italian restaurant. The pizza was indigestible; after this meal, I felt nauseous and had digestive problems. The escalopes weren't fresh and were way overcooked. And the staff is unwelcoming once you're seated... The "tourist menu" is a tourist trap. This restaurant claims to be a trattoria, since its sign at the time of our visit read "Trattoria da Michele." But the dishes served bore no resemblance to the dishes we saw on Google under the name "Trattoria da Michele."

13/08/2026: we ate there 2 times on our visit to Venice. Everything we tried was very good. The menu is different than 98% of the restaurants. Not touristy, no chicken parm!! great vantage point.

20/07/2026: Disappointing experience. The place is nice and the staff was friendly and cheerful, but the prices are truly excessive: €7 for a Spritz Select and €2.50 for each shot. Unfortunately, on top of that, when I got the bill, I was charged for five shots instead of the four we'd ordered. A young man with Asian appearance served me, and unfortunately, I only noticed the mistake when we were getting on the bus back, so I didn't have a chance to mention it. It may have been a simple oversight, but the fact remains that I paid more than I should have. My advice is to always check your receipt before leaving. For my part, considering the prices and the mistake on the bill, I won't be returning.

14/04/2026: We stopped by by chance with my husband and our daughter for a break, and it was a wonderful surprise. The service was excellent: the staff was very friendly. I ordered a Spritz Hugo, and it was truly authentic and well-made. A place I recommend.

19/06/2025: Eravamo alla ricerca di un locale tipico e abbiamo scelto in base alle recensioni. Il locale è situato di fronte alla stazione di questo piccolo paesino. Esternamente non si capisce quanto sia accogliente e curato all’interno. Il menù propone piatti interessanti. Tutto quello che abbiamo provato (spaghetti alle vongole, gnocchi con ragù di germano, zuppa di cozze) era molto buono e le porzioni abbondanti. Siamo stati coccolati con altri ottimi assaggi e l’attenzione dell’oste. Tovagliato di stoffa. Ci siamo trovati molto bene.
