A truly wonderful experience at Trattoria Marciana! The owner is a delightful lady, exceptionally kind, and all the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. We had truly delicious spaghetti with clams and an equally delicious Milanese cutlet with fries. Generous portions, excellent food, and a warm welcome that made you feel right at home. Everything was truly perfect: we'll definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend it!

Very pleasant atmosphere, excellent food!

The restaurant is nice, near the Venice train station. The staff was nice and helpfull. We were 3 - 2 adults and 1 child. We ordered a tagliatelle ala verdure, which were fine. The 2nd dish - The lasagna however was below expectations, also the size was much smaller than expected. No meat in the lasagna just a a bit bolognese sauce on-top. No parmigiano served with the pasta. The last dish was 1/3 of a chicken breast , with 2 slices of tomatoes for 16 eur. The slices were extremly thin, the extra orderd french fries however were ok. To summarise: not a great value for money, bad lasagna and dont believe the pictures shown in the menu.

Tucked away on a quiet corner, this hidden gem serves the most authentic Venetian food! Fresh seafood pasta bursts with flavor.The owner treats you like family, prices are fair, and the candlelit courtyard is pure magic. The best surprise of our trip—highly recommended!

The food is very good and the service is nice.

I don't really undetstand the low rating, and feel like it deserves more stars. The food itself was delicious and there is a lot to choose from. The prices aren't bad either. The service was good and quick, and the man who I suppose is the owner, was very polite and nice. It deserves a lot more than 3.2 stars and I hope that it changes to at least 4 at some point in the future.

I was skeptical about the restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. My seafood pasta was excellent, and they even accommodated my special request for it to be prepared with garlic. Thank you! When it came to beer, I was asked if I wanted a small or large one, and they explained how large a large one was—and that's exactly what I received. Like almost everywhere in Italy, it was 0.4 liters.

Food was well prepared and delicious. The four of us ordered separate dishes so we could try a little bit of everything. Spaghetti with cuttlefish, tortellini, spaghetti carbonara, and four cheese pizza. All were excellent dishes!

What a lovely place. We found another gem hidden within a hidden gem in Venice. We needed not just food, but an experience. An experience can only be created, it cannot be bought, and this place does just that. The lady welcomed us in our language and made us feel welcome. The waiter was such a gentleman. He knew that we also spoke Spanish so he used his eloquent Spanish to further accommodate to us! The menu had the classics so I had to have sea food since we were literally surrounded by it. My wife had the all time classic lasagna. The wine and the beer complement the flavors of the food. How awesome! At the end, a shot of Limoncello liquor! Ahhhhh how refreshing.
