14/10/2025: A real hidden gem in Venice! This place serves authentic Venetian tapas. The atmosphere is relaxed and local, not touristy at all, and the staff are welcoming and kind. Perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and some amazing small plates like the locals do. Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: Very slow and somewhat rude service. The manager, however, was lovely and apologetic. Unfortunately, he wasn't our waiter. 😠 Small portions of wine and food for the price, but the pour of bourbon and ice was very generous. My husband sent back his clams with linguine because it was too salty and ordered the spaghetti, which was very tasty. Too many lovely options around to want to return.

14/10/2025: We had a pizza here. The worst pizza I've ever eaten. Unmotivated staff. Everything is overpriced, including service charges. A disgrace for Venice! Never again!

31/05/2025: Be extremely cautious with this place—especially if you’re a foreign tourist. They seem to take advantage of language barriers and the fact that visitors may not be able to assert their consumer rights as confidently as they would in their home countries. We were a group of five friends. Everything seemed fine when we ordered, but then we were served a lasagna with overcooked, soggy pasta, and what were honestly the worst bruschettas we’ve ever had—soft bread topped with chopped tomatoes, lacking any flavor or texture. BUT THE WORST WAS YET TO COME. When it came time to pay, we were suddenly told that individual payments were not allowed. The bill could only be split into two equal parts, and this applied whether paying by card or even in cash—unless we had the exact amount, as they refused to give change. Let me be clear: no one informed us of this so-called “internal policy” before we ordered. One staff member—who later introduced himself as the “manager”—raised his voice and told us we had to “figure it out among ourselves” because they would not accept separate payments, even though we were paying with regular euros. He even mocked us, asking “What century do you live in?”, as if we were being unreasonable, when in fact, their rigid system is outdated and customer-hostile. I speak five world languages and have traveled across all five continents. Never—not even in other cities in Italy—have I encountered such an unprofessional and disrespectful experience. After the incident, I consulted my Italian lawyer, who confirmed that while restaurants in Italy may impose limits on how bills are split, this must be clearly communicated beforehand—before the order is placed. If this information is only disclosed at the end, the practice may be considered unfair or lacking transparency, in violation of the Italian Consumer Code. Furthermore, if there is embarrassment, pressure, or refusal to accept fair and lawful payment, the establishment may incur civil liability and be subject to formal complaint. In fact, even the restaurant’s website (accessed today) says absolutely nothing about this specific payment policy. I’m still considering whether to file a formal complaint with the country’s official tourism authorities.

21/05/2025: Excelente lugar, la pasta deliciosa y el servicio muy bueno. Precio vs producto de 💯 . Muy rico, super recomendable!! No se lo pierdan !!

27/04/2025: Encontramos este bonito restaurante por casualidad y no nos decepcionó. La comida era muy buena (ñoquis, espaguetis con tinta de calamar, tomate y mozzarella,...) y no se puede superar la vista. El precio era medio (unos 140 euros para los cuatro) para Venecia. Sin duda volvería allí de nuevo y lo recomiendo.

21/04/2025: Le restaurant est situé sur une terrasse flottante au bord de l’eau. On voit les bateaux passer. Très bon accueil Nous avons pris 2 plats - Spaghettis préparés dans une demi meule de parmesan. Un délice - Moules et palourdes en sauce avec tomates cerises et basilic avec chapeau de pain. Du jamais vu. Un vrai coup de cœur !

28/04/2025: Unpleasant bartender, not friendly at all. Maybe he needs rest or has problems but customers don't treat each other that way!!! Never again! UPDATE : I returned to this place in January because a friend invited me here even though I would never set foot again, this time I had a very good time. The bartender was very friendly and quick, Hugo was good and the appetizers were good enough.

07/09/2025: The portions were really small. It seemed like they needed to cut corners on the products. But people pay and want to be satisfied. They gave me a receipt and I realized they'd charged me €10.80 for unused wine and water. They apologized, but what if I hadn't noticed?

06/09/2025: We were there with friends. The food was fresh and simple, the service was friendly, and all in all, it's a place you'll want to visit again and again.

31/05/2025: I ordered the pizza and was told it would arrive at 9.15pm and again at 10.05pm nothing was heard, really a person could die of hunger 💔

05/05/2025: Excellent Colomba this year too... I have bought several, even as gifts, and I have always been satisfied. I recommend them without any doubt. Breakfast is also always a guarantee in Mestre.

22/07/2025: Helt gjennomsiktig turistfelle.. Grei service, maten smakte godt, men entrecôten var 5mm tykk og godt gjennomstekt. En god entrecôte er 3 fingre tykk, og servere entrecôte under 2 fingre i tykkelse skulle være forbudt. Det er også helt unødvendig å spørre om du vil ha den medium stekt, når den er 5mm tykk. Den er uansett gjennomstekt når den treffer grillen.

20/07/2025: Sono stata nel 2022 pagato una follia 90€ antipasto due granseole e un filetto di branzino con una bottiglia di acqua naturale. Servizio lento e mal curato.

05/08/2025: Un passo indietro: crudi con ancora il ghiaccio addosso: Inaccettabile. Meriterebbe la bocciatura ma l'indulgenza nasce dalla bruttezza irreversibile del locale, dalla buona scelta dei vini e dalla griglia

14/07/2025: Finalmente una cucina di quelle che piacciono a me,nata e cresciuta da queste parti e trapiantata a Torino, sincera e senza troppi fronzoli ,in cui la freschezza del pesce e l'abilità nel trattare la materia prima la fanno da padrona. Nota di merito alla grigliata di pesce con anguilla fatta alla brace semplicemente squisita!! Prezzo onestissimo in relazione alla qualità. Personale attento,gentile e simpatico. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta che sarò da queste parti.

23/07/2025: Yesterday I went to this place on the recommendation of other people who were raving about their wine list. Sitting outside, out of respect for other customers since we had a dog, we asked the waitress what wines she could offer us by the glass. In response, she said a white or a red. We asked about the wine list, and it turned out they didn't know anything about it. We agreed to try a Merlot, but were very surprised, considering she'd suggested that we try it. Two glasses of wine on tap arrived, but we couldn't even bring them to our lips. We left them there and they came in to pay. Surprisingly, a list of about 20 wines by the glass was hanging above the bar, and when we asked for an explanation, the answer was "eeeee." Of the three staff members, not one even apologized. We paid for what we didn't drink and left. A real shame, I feel sorry for the owner.

11/07/2025: It could use a makeover, they still have the old wooden counters, they've raised the prices and not by a little, in fact we go there less for lunch. A small plate of roast beef and a small vegetable side dish... 22 euros, no thanks, we go there as little as possible.

11/10/2025: The world's oldest cafe The receptionist was wonderful! The espresso and cookies were also of excellent quality. I'll definitely visit again!

11/10/2025: My daughter and I shared the macarons and gelato. Musicians on the patio and memorable surroundings.

03/09/2025: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Very good pizza, and the fish entree pictured wasn't bad either...

02/09/2025: I wanted to point out that anyone with a child over 12 will have to pay for an additional compulsory cot, as happened to me.
