Ristorante Speranza In Venezia

Nice location, the bread was fresh and I ordered a pizza. The staff was very helpful and the food was quick!

We ordered a salad and a steak, which in my opinion was cooked quite well. The waiters welcomed us and we were very happy as it was raining a lot. We will definitely be back!

We had dinner here a couple of nights ago as we were staying in the hotel next door. Afterwards, we were shocked to see the bad rating of this place as we had a great experience! The gentleman and lady who helped us that night were so friendly and welcoming and we took a chance as it was empty and we were hoping for a quick meal. The meal was absolutely delicious (particularly the gnocchi with 4 cheese sauce and spaghetti pomodoro - best we’ve ever had) and very reasonably priced, in line with the other restaurants we ate at during our time in Venice. I don’t know if maybe it’s under new management or has a new chef or anything since the bad reviews but it was absolutely lovely and we would really recommend people give it a try. Once we had sat outside, other people then started coming and dining and it got busier throughout the evening and other diners looked very impressed as well.

The waitresses were not polite. The atmosphere was nice, but you can smell what was cooking from the kitchen. The food was not the best.

Well, like another reviewer said, I came here out of sheer exhaustion. Having spent the whole day walking around Venice in the rain I was hungry. I had no problem with the wait staff they were very cordial and friendly. In fact, the waiter that served me was overly friendly which I found quite enjoyable. The restaurant was quite full and they seem to have some kind of a back room as well. Ordered the scallops as an appetizer and a pasta dish for dinner. Those poor scallops were so nasty. I can’t begin to tell you. Whatever sauce they were covered with was a mystery to me. Let’s call it mystery sauce, so I just ate the scallops and left the rest. The pasta was good it was nothing to write home about. What I did enjoy was the minstrel that came in and serenaded us while we ate. Of course, afterwards he wanted money. I should’ve known why he was being so friendly. Lol! Overall it was a nice restaurant.

After so much walking we stop to that restaurant Look nice , we order Carbonara it was nice a bottle of wine also fine . When I have seen the reviews on google I was socked so much bad reviews …. We order 2 steaks one veal and pork , when they told me the steak comes alone on plate the waiter see us surprise any ways he add potatoes included . The veal was fine the pork was very small portion of meat . The second steak arrived when we finish eating The waiter from Bangladesh was little touristic It was not bad . But they need to be more carefully with the guest my opinion 90 euros 2 persons fir the dinner any ways this Venezia 1 day before we eat next restaurant with 42 !!! They were all from Venezia
