10/08/2026: While in Venice, there are many gelaterias, and they're usually packed, especially in the center. However, this one was curiously almost always empty and looked absolutely delicious, plus they advertised their use of natural ingredients. We tried it one evening on our way back to our accommodation, and the experience was incredible. We returned the next day and confirmed that it's undoubtedly one of the best gelaterias I've ever tried. The fruit flavors are exquisite, like biting into the fruit itself. However, I was curious and asked to try the tiramisu flavor, and it left me speechless. It was like eating homemade tiramisu... incredible. A must-stop in Venice if you want to enjoy excellent quality gelato made with natural ingredients. I would definitely stop to try all the flavors; I hope to return soon.

We tried the pistachio and cheese flavors; the texture was incredibly rich and the aroma intense. The shop generously offers one free sample. Pros: It has a very comfortable air-conditioned seating area, and a rare find in Europe—clean and free customer-only restrooms—making it a perfect refuge from the afternoon heat. The cheese flavor is unique. Cons/Suggestions: Because of its natural ingredients, the gelato melts very quickly at high temperatures, so you must eat it quickly after ordering. A highly recommended gelato spot to rest your feet during a hot summer day in Venice. At €5 for two scoops, the pricing is very reasonable for the area. 09/07/2026: Booked for 8:30 PM, ordered, waited over an hour... First they told me there was no fried food; the fryer was broken. After about another 20 minutes, I told them it was too long and they told me they'd decided to close the kitchen, leaving us without food at 10:15 PM... No comment, maybe it's time to consider continuing the restaurant business, avoiding embarrassment!!

09/06/2026: A quick lunch during a stopover on a trip to Austria. A couple of appetizers: creamed cod and sun-dried tomatoes, spaghetti with clams, water, and a glass of Tokai. Good food, no complaints. Friendly service. Prices aren't popular, but they're acceptable. Fish is expensive, as we all know.

12/08/2026: Located in the heart of the Cannaregio neighborhood, 500 meters from the Rialto Bridge. Not very crowded at 10 pm. Great for a quick bite to eat.

06/08/2026: Very disappointing experience. The staff kept bothering us over small things, which made us feel uncomfortable. The restaurant was very loud, and we had to wait a long time for our order. The service was not friendly at all. On top of that, they forgot to give me my cappuccino. We definitely won’t be coming back.

14/08/2026: I ordered a salad (during light lunch time at noon) and caffe freddo, both beautifully prepared with high quality ingredients. Excellent and polite service; I also bought 2 bags of coffee for my family. Of course it isn't the cheapest place, but definitely worth a visit.

14/08/2026: I've visited this cafe dozens of times. There are various theories, but it's said to be the oldest in Europe... Before the pandemic, there was a Japanese (I think) staff member, and because I visited so many times, I fondly remember being given a history book as a special gift. This time I ended up in a less desirable section of the cafe, but I guess that's just bad luck. The food was as delicious as ever!

12/08/2026: Quiet and pleasant atmosphere, truly excellent food and generous portions. Plenty of options for those who can't eat gluten. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

11/08/2026: I came here two nights in a row. Both nights I had the busiate pasta with pesto, shrimp, scallops, cherry tomatoes, clams, and almond flakes. I highly recommend it. My family also had a very good hamburger, and the fried fish was cooked very well. The portions are large. The value for money is excellent. The waiters are very kind and, above all, very knowledgeable. I recommend it if you're in the area.

12/08/2026: Terrible sourdough pizza. Too much dough, soggy and raw. Service so-so... the bakery is better. But we won't be back.

09/08/2026: We never go home without taking some doughnuts with us. They've been my absolute favorite pastry here in Caorle for decades; homemade and so delicious! 🥰

09/04/2026: I ate here with a tour group. The cocktail was 5 euros and tasted awful, so I didn't bother ordering more. The fried seafood, especially the squid, was good, but the other dishes, like shrimp and small fish, were cold – very careless.

30/12/2025: Very nice, intimate, and welcoming place! The owner is truly friendly and generous with advice. The fish appetizer was delicious, followed by squid in ink on a bed of excellent white polenta. Well done, we'll definitely remember and return!

20/11/2025: An intimate atmosphere, almost a secret treat, with traditional cuisine but with a contemporary feel. Family-run. The atmosphere makes for a serene yet elegant yet unpretentious treat. Even the staff are part of this special place, a hidden gem.

03/06/2026: The lady in the restaurant is the most unfriendly person I’ve met in a while. She should treat people more nicely. It doesn’t cost her anything.

28/05/2026: Nicely furnished room with no view, nowhere to sit outside without feeling you have to buy (8euros an orange juice for example) to sit there.

06/06/2026: Fuoco Antico pizzeria and kebab shop is an exceptional place that I highly recommend. The place has a simple yet charming style. During my visit, I ordered a Margherita pizza, which looked excellent and was classic, precise, and when the timing was right, it turned out to be truly delicious and flavorful. I also ordered a kebab, packed with ingredients and a generous amount of flavorful meat, perfect for curbing hunger pangs. This place doesn't feel small; rather, dinner becomes a challenge of flavors and a unique culinary experience. Even though there are many places around, the intelligence of the owners of Fuoco Antico is truly astonishing, so go there with confidence because the quality of this food will never fade...

12/08/2026: Every year we go on holiday to Sottomarina, and when I go to the dam we have lunch or dinner at Gigetto, everything is delicious and of good quality, and good prices, you can't give more than 5 stars, but for me it deserves 100 stars 😀

Thus begins a refined gastronomic journey, accompanied by impeccable service and excellent wines. The cuisine is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the end result is simply extraordinary. You absolutely must discover this place to experience a special moment and create memories that will last a lifetime. Don't hesitate, it's definitely worth it!
