06/06/2025: Maleducazione regna sovrana. Mai cenato perché è impossibile prenotare. Proprietari molto maleducati che ti rimbalzano qua e là nella prenotazione.

02/06/2025: Pensavamo di aver scelto un buon ristorante ma purtroppo non abbiamo potuto constatarlo. Abbiamo ricevuto un rifiuto alle 13:38 e non certo il 30 settembre bensì l’1 giugno. Questo dimostra probabilmente una pancia piena più del dovuto. Ma il bello deve ancora venire, perché le signore del nostro gruppo raggiungendo il ristorante prima del resto della comitiva, chiedendo un tavolo erano state invitate ad accomodarsi e alla precisazione da parte loro di essere in cinque invece che due cambia tutto e la riposta è stata “no se siete cinque la cucina è chiusa”. Inutili le successive richieste di farci accomodare, “la cucina è chiusa” alle 13:38. Di certo rimane il rammarico per essere stati trattati davvero male.

12/06/2025: Beautiful patio overlooking the sea! Friendly and youthful staff! Very good appetizer and fried food. A small sore point, the limited choice of bubbles. Large private and free parking. Good value for money.

01/05/2025: Tenía la intención de ir a un restaurante diferente, pero estaba lleno. Había espacios aquí. El menú es muy “pescado pesado” y al no ser fan de los mariscos sentí que mis opciones eran bastante limitadas. Tenía carbonara y mi marido lasaña. Ambos eran transitables, pero tal vez un poco seco. La comida vino con palitos de pan que eran agradables.

28/03/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante tan cerca de nuestro hotel y el menú parece variado. Tristemente compramos el bombo del camarero entusiasta de fuera. Fui por el menú establecido. La comida era absolutamente terrible. La salsa de pasta era extremadamente salada y cuando nos quejamos el siguiente tazón era igual de malo. Finalmente reemplazado con una pasta de ajo que estaba bien. Todas las tuberías eran horribles y los tres apenas los tocamos pollo massala - seco plano y vino cubierto de vinagre balsámico. Y mucho más. La carne de cerdo estaba seca, insípida y crujiente y los calamares eran gomosos. Cuando nos quejamos, el camarero acogedor inicialmente agradable se volvió agresivo en la manera y no quería escuchar realmente - solo quería nuestro dinero - un desperdicio de 70 €. Acabamos solo queriendo pagar y salir como un pequeño grupo de mujeres, este tipo de agresión masculina percibida da un poco de miedo. Nos dijeron que al entrar si estábamos descontentos con la comida no tendríamos que pagar. Mal. Un camarero junior dijo que sentía que no nos divertimos cuando le dije que era la peor comida que habíamos tenido en Venecia. Tenga en cuenta que, además, la persona en el bar tenía una conjuntivitis terrible y seguía frotando su ojo con la mano y los pañuelos de papel mientras tocaba vasos y tazas que servían bebidas . Muy antihigiénico. Una experiencia totalmente terrible de Venecia con este restaurante que muestra lo negativo de View siendo una hermosa ciudad plagada de algún terrible timo - de los comerciantes siendo muy cierto. Por favor evite este lugar como la plaga y tenga cuidado con la publicidad

25/05/2025: Muito caro para o vem na mesa. Carbonara fria e carne de 26 euros com uma micro folha de alface de acompanhamento. Um absurdo. Um prato gigante com a carne no meio sem nada mais. Garçom simpatico. Mas não voltaria!

14/05/2025: I ordered Sarde in Saor which was fabulous. I had no idea what to expect but wanted to try something traditional. Glad I did! I followed it with the fegato. It was also delicious but portions for both dishes were not generous. My companion ordered sea bream with vegetables. Her fish was very nicely cooked but a slice of aubergine, one slice of courgette & one slice of pepper really isn’t ’vegetables’. It’s garnish! The liver came with just 2 small leaves of lettuce on the edge of the plate. We enjoyed our meals but it was an expensive lunch considering the small portions. Our desserts were standard fare, tiramisu and an Italian meringue with strawberries. Service was professional but quite speedy. For €114, which included two glasses of rosé, I would have expected service that was slightly more leisurely and not such skimpy portions. On balance, although our lunch was pleasant, Riva Rosa didn’t justify the price.

15/05/2025: Ho messo un pallino perché meno non si poteva, il prezzo non era particolarmente alto ma il servizio era scadente, personale scortese, arrogante e non preparato. Per due pizza fredde abbiamo aspettato 1h e 20 minuti.

02/05/2025: Terrible service and had to wait way too long between courses. Not fussy on fixed menu you better be a total fish lover……. I guess I’m not. Took so long we didn’t even stay for dessert. He said it would be another 20 minutes. Would not recommend and will not be back in spite of the fact that I come from the Veneto region.

30/04/2025: Gran comida, aunque un poco caro para los tamaños de las porciones. Más allá de eso, la comida es auténtica y deliciosa. El personal era muy amable y servicial, y hemos recibido un buen servicio en general. Lo recomendaría.

03/06/2025: In questo locale c'ero già stato qualche anno fa e ci sono tornato perchè mi piace la posizione e il locale ma purtroppo non è cambiato nulla rispetto il servizio: personale poco cordiale e tempi di attesa tra una portata e l'altra troppo lunghi . Devo dire che il cibo era buono e anche il prezzo è stato onesto. Non ci tornerò.

31/05/2025: Extremely rude and arrogant shop assistants, especially those working at the self-service checkouts. Today around 5:30 pm one of the employees verbally assaulted a girl who had already paid for her shopping but who, in her opinion, had not bagged it "well". She even sought help from a colleague and a security guard. I hope the girl never comes back. I certainly will never do it again.

11/05/2025: Passeggiando sulla Fondamenta S. Domenico, ammirando i pescherecci, vediamo questo bar con i tavolini all'aperto affollati di gente del posto, ci fermiamo per uno spritz e due cicchetti di pesce veramente deliziosi, poi, guardando un tavolino accanto dove si stava servendo un primo piatto, abbiamo deciso di fermarci anche per pranzo ed abbiamo assaggiato spaghetti alle vongole ottimi, come fatti in casa, buon vino bianco fresco e frizzante, prezzo onesto...cosa vuoi di più!

01/06/2025: We had four cicchetti and mineral water for about €14, which was perfectly fine. I definitely had to try the tomato topping; it was my favorite :)

07/05/2025: Visited on 02/15/2025. We didn't stay at the hotel; we just had a drink on the terrace overlooking the water. The setting is magnificent, but the service needs to be improved; the waitress was clearly unfriendly. Perhaps because we were outside guests?

06/05/2025: Had a delicious minestrone soup here for lunch, completely unplanned and we were very late lunching. The kitchen was closed, but the waiter couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Great view over the waterfront!
