18/04/2025: TOURIST TRAP. We paid 50 euro for a bread with some tomato sauce and a chocolate that we triple checked was hot chocolate but turned out to be a milkshake.

08/02/2025: I had some ribs and grilled vegetables, all good. Kindness of the manager. I recommend it. In the summer I go for ribs and they have always been excellent when cooked with little fat.

26/10/2024: I have been going to Sabbia e Sale for years and I must say that it is a beautiful, clean, well-kept beach, a refined and elegant location. Kind staff. Courteous owners.

21/10/2024: NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!! Rude and unprofessional owner. He canceled a ceremony (Wedding), only for economic reasons as he demanded advance payment of the entire agreed sum, even before providing the service. Experience to avoid.

13/04/2025: Friendly ice cream parlor (including cafe bar) within walking distance of the beach. There are no special and innovative creations, but the well-known gelato varieties are perfect and taste very good! Soft ice cream is also offered.

21/12/2024: Siamo tornati a pranzo in questo ristorante dopo un paio di anni e l’abbiamo trovato migliorato in ogni senso. Locale curato e pulitissimo, servizio molto cortese, cibo super buono. Si percepisce una cura particolare anche nella direzione. Era da tempo che non mangiavo carne così buona. Fiorentina al sangue ma la frollatura ottimale l'ha resa un "burro" che avrei mangiato ad oltranza. Strepitoso anche il filetto e antipasti misti (tartare top). Selezione dei vini di tutto rispetto, location calda ed elegante servizio professionale e personale simpatico. Conto assolutamente onesto, non eccessivo. Consigliato assolutamente agli amanti della carne di qualità e non solo. Torneremo sicuramente.

14/03/2025: On our annual Venice tour we often like to spend a few days on the Lido. On March 14th, 2025 we were at Ai Do Mati (for the first time). The ambience is simple: simple, probably indestructible tables without tablecloths or other "decoration". The staff (=the waiter) were very friendly and helpful, even suggesting short breaks at appropriate points. Unlike many Venetian restaurants, we never had the feeling of being "handled" or rushed. Our meal - Spaghetti Alle Vongole veraci for my wife and Parmigiana di Melanzane for me as well as a shared pizza Tonno e Cipolle - tasted very good. We also liked the wine (Chianti Classico for €28). At the end the caffè was also above average - neither bitter nor sour. All at a very reasonable price - we were very satisfied.

29/03/2025: More than the restaurant, I'm reviewing the evening event on 28/4 with buffet, the evening was beautiful, the music was sufficiently engaging, the buffet service was terrible, the endless queue in the midst of dozens of jostling people. I think it is necessary to review everything.

Le nostre aspettative non sono rimaste deluse: piatti tipici di ottima qualità, abbondanti e con ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, personale accogliente e location nostalgica. Sicuramente ci torneremo!
