10/10/2025: Responding to a group who, more than half an hour before the posted closing time and with customers still drinking both inside and outside, politely asks for glasses of wine by saying, "Go to work, it's better!" is shocking. Just for the rudeness, go elsewhere; there are plenty of other restaurants and bars.

31/05/2025: Be extremely cautious with this place—especially if you’re a foreign tourist. They seem to take advantage of language barriers and the fact that visitors may not be able to assert their consumer rights as confidently as they would in their home countries. We were a group of five friends. Everything seemed fine when we ordered, but then we were served a lasagna with overcooked, soggy pasta, and what were honestly the worst bruschettas we’ve ever had—soft bread topped with chopped tomatoes, lacking any flavor or texture. BUT THE WORST WAS YET TO COME. When it came time to pay, we were suddenly told that individual payments were not allowed. The bill could only be split into two equal parts, and this applied whether paying by card or even in cash—unless we had the exact amount, as they refused to give change. Let me be clear: no one informed us of this so-called “internal policy” before we ordered. One staff member—who later introduced himself as the “manager”—raised his voice and told us we had to “figure it out among ourselves” because they would not accept separate payments, even though we were paying with regular euros. He even mocked us, asking “What century do you live in?”, as if we were being unreasonable, when in fact, their rigid system is outdated and customer-hostile. I speak five world languages and have traveled across all five continents. Never—not even in other cities in Italy—have I encountered such an unprofessional and disrespectful experience. After the incident, I consulted my Italian lawyer, who confirmed that while restaurants in Italy may impose limits on how bills are split, this must be clearly communicated beforehand—before the order is placed. If this information is only disclosed at the end, the practice may be considered unfair or lacking transparency, in violation of the Italian Consumer Code. Furthermore, if there is embarrassment, pressure, or refusal to accept fair and lawful payment, the establishment may incur civil liability and be subject to formal complaint. In fact, even the restaurant’s website (accessed today) says absolutely nothing about this specific payment policy. I’m still considering whether to file a formal complaint with the country’s official tourism authorities.

21/05/2025: Excelente lugar, la pasta deliciosa y el servicio muy bueno. Precio vs producto de 💯 . Muy rico, super recomendable!! No se lo pierdan !!

08/11/2025: Excellent restaurant where we sampled several delicacies: fried Moleche with soft polenta for an appetizer, seafood risotto, and a mixed fried fish for a main course. Everything was delicious, the service was attentive, and the location, overlooking the canal and bathed in sunshine, was charming. We'll be back 😉

22/10/2025: We had lunch. The service was friendly. The Caprese salad was very expensive for the quality and quantity of tomato and mozzarella. The fried food was poor for the price, but good. I must say that the carbonara and spaghetti with clams were very good. The price was definitely high for what we got. One dish per person and a bottle of wine for €20. €144 for 4...

18/09/2025: Hi, I always go to Chiosco Verde when I'm at the beach. The food is good, the service is great, and all the waiters are always very kind. Great job, keep it up!

01/09/2025: Excellent experience at the end of August The fried fish was really good, tender, and had a variety of fish. The pizza, too, was thin, crispy, and easy to digest.

08/11/2025: Had two Gorgonzola pizzas with a quart of wine which was the price of a glass of wine (6 euros). The waiter was lovely. He made us very happy. The salad was huge and nice. Very good value and great food. A quiet part of Venice and one of the nicest for that reason alone!

31/10/2025: Typical Venetian Cuisine 🍝Bigoli in salsa is a Venetian specialty. The thick spaghetti called bigoli is infused with a sauce made with onions and anchovies or sardines. Venetian pastry Zaiti Veneziani 🍪 It's delicious! 😋❤️ Near the Teatro Piccolo Arsenal 🏛️

07/09/2025: The worth experience I had , don't even try to eat here the worth quality of food the waiter is very rode and he treated us very angry and without any patience, so not recommended at all if you dint believe me try and you'll see their attitude

07/09/2025: I always stop when I go to the Venice Lido in the morning for coffee and biscuits (excellent) in the evening for an aperitif at excellent prices

04/10/2025: Saturday afternoon around 4pm we stopped for a cappuccino and a pastry, the croissants, even though covered, were surrounded by bees... the music prevented a conversation without raising your voice but the icing on the cake was when a blonde shop assistant arrived and the first thing she did was turn the music up even louder and while she worked she mimed dancing... at this point we left. Service, care, attention towards the customer absolutely zero.

12/09/2025: We went here for a spritz. Excellent value, efficient and friendly service: we'll definitely be back! The best part is that the spritz also comes with a few cicchetti (aperitifs) in addition to the fries, which are included in the price!

26/06/2025: The Hotel Ai Die Principi has a beautiful location right on the canal. With its own restaurant, the Principi not only offers breakfast by the canal, but also in your room for a small surcharge. There were four of us (two children and two adults) and we booked the Family Suite for one night through Booking.com for around €300. We had a small balcony in our suite, the windows and floors were decorated to match Venice, and the suite was air-conditioned to a pleasant 23 degrees. I had to give it a small negative point because the room was damaged when we handed it over. Photos attached. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the restaurant; I was already too tired to put the children to bed. But luckily there is a minibar in the room. Breakfast was okay. You can get a better breakfast out. If you want to explore the city after checking out, you can leave your luggage there.

07/11/2025: This is a takeout pizzeria. The option to order a half-meter pizza, even a double-flavored version, is interesting. Good quality and prices. Very fast service, although of course it depends on how many orders they have.

31/10/2025: It's one of the best takeout pizzerias in the area. There's no doubt about that. The regular pizzas are good, but the half-meter pizzas are truly exceptional! The place is what it is, hence the four stars, but the food and service are rightfully five stars.

11/07/2025: As in other reviews, I can confirm that this is a trattoria stuck in time, but it's exactly what I expected and what I was looking for, seeking out traditional dishes and flavors. The staff were kind and friendly; otherwise, I found everything else to be average, and my rating is slightly above average. I definitely recommend a visit.

15/06/2025: At Gemma you enter a trattoria that seems to have been frozen in time. You can still have a chat with Mrs. Gemma in the restaurant that is now run by her very good daughters. The choice is not excessive and the food is simple but very tasty, typical of the Venetian tradition. The experience ends with excellent homemade desserts. I recommend the trio of cod and the ricotta and fig dessert!

10/09/2025: Campsite facilities are a bit dated but the level of cleanliness is excellent. Security and supervision throughout the area are above average. The pool is very nice with perfect bar service. The only drawback is the distance from the beach, which isn't exactly convenient.

09/09/2025: Not the right place for us. Traveling with two dogs. The one beach where they're allowed is 3 km away. You're allowed to walk there, not linger, and not go into the water. The other is 5 km away, and you're allowed into the water there. The site is very noisy. Campers are allowed on the site until at least 10:30 p.m. In return, however, no washing of dishes is allowed between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Conclusion: If you want a budget-friendly vacation and don't mind the noise late into the night, we recommend this site.

03/05/2025: Posizione centralissima, i tavoli esterni ti fanno godere il paesaggio. Il cibo è di ottima qualità e i piatti belli da vedere e buonissimi! Anche lo staff è gentile ed educato. Quando torneremo a Venezia sarà sicuramente un posto in cui torneremo

20/10/2025: When we ordered fresh fish for two, we didn't realize the bill would be so high. 120€ per kilo, the fish!! The price-quality ratio is not fair. Especially since neither the taste nor the side dishes are up to scratch.
