Cucina Da Gigetto In Chioggia

Every year we go on holiday to Sottomarina, and when I go to the dam we have lunch or dinner at Gigetto, everything is delicious and of good quality, and good prices, you can't give more than 5 stars, but for me it deserves 100 stars 😀

Super Catalan cuisine from "Cucina da Gigetto" is mouth-watering! It's beautifully choreographed, but above all, it features plenty of shellfish, fruit, and vegetables to devour. The spaghetti with bibarasse is also delicious, well-creamed and al dente. The chef clearly works with passion and dedication. The place is a bit dated, although much work has been done, such as new windows and a roof. Attentive and friendly service, without too many frills. Parking is available in the shade in the middle of the sandbank! (Free if you eat at the restaurant) See you soon—oh, I forgot about the relaxing sea view!

We had dinner and everything was excellent. The homemade gnocchi with tomato sauce were excellent, as was the fried fish. The Sgroppino with lemon ice cream, homemade licorice, and spumiglie was amazing. Well done, everyone.

Renovated, shaded, covered parking lot with automatic payment of €8 per day; upon entry, you take a ticket, which is also used to use the restrooms, and before exiting, you pay at the automatic pay station. The restrooms have been renovated, but there's little privacy between the hotties and the hotties. <<Newly designed showers. It's a shame that you have to leave the shower stall to insert your token, as the coin machine was positioned incorrectly. While previously, one person could manage, now two people need to. There's no stop button to save water while you use shower gel. There's a lack of privacy and a few chairs to put your clothes on while getting dressed. >> Renowned cuisine with quality products at a reasonable price. The dining room has been renovated with new tables and air conditioning. The beach is equipped with children's games near the restaurant, standard umbrellas and loungers or private cabins. Newly built restrooms near the beach for umbrella rentals, and cold showers are available for €0.50. A well-stocked kiosk offers snacks and drinks, pastries, toast, granitas, ice cream, and more. There's also a free beach adjacent to the restaurant. The restaurant has been renovated with outdoor seating and a children's play area. A beach volleyball court is missing. New bike and motorcycle parking. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the service is friendly and helpful.

We've been guests of this establishment for years and regularly visit the public beach, which is why we've always had a great experience. Two weeks ago, we hosted three people, including a boy under 14, who chose to use the equipped beach. They were required to rent an umbrella and three lounge chairs, whereas at other establishments you can rent just two lounge chairs. Furthermore, those who use the equipped beach are given a token to access the restrooms near the bar for a €5 deposit, while those who park and use the public beach can only use the restrooms in the parking lot. We all spent the day together, having lunch at the establishment's restaurant and enjoying two rounds of aperitifs. When we said goodbye, we used their token to go to the restrooms near the bar, simply to avoid having to walk another distance, since we would have remained on the beach. When we returned the token, we were accused of violating the rules, because the token can only be used by those who paid for the equipped beach. To avoid any arguments, we returned the token and also left the €5 deposit with the management. We were very disappointed, not so much by the rules themselves, which we agree with, but by the way we were treated. After years of being customers, spending the day consuming food at their restaurant and bar, we would have expected a little more common sense and courtesy.
