03/06/2026: A truly wonderful little restaurant. The chicken was simply divine. Everything was prepared with love and fresh. I'm absolutely thrilled. The waiter was incredibly attentive and friendly. It's a shame we're only in town today, because I'd love to try everything on the menu. Truly fantastic and highly recommended. Bravo! 😉

08/05/2026: We had a quick lunch at this little spot on a quiet, central street in San Donà. The waiter was extremely kind and helpful, and he recommended a special off-menu burger that didn't disappoint at all (quite the opposite!). We also tried the cod croquettes and the club sandwich, and we were all very happy with our choices; quick service, reasonable prices. Recommended!

10/05/2026: We had lunch at this place today. The atmosphere was family-friendly, the food was top-notch, and everything was delicious and fresh, from the appetizers to the main course to the fried food. The risotto was the best I've ever eaten. We've also had the paella takeaway several times... spectacular!

08/08/2026: Excellent rolled pizza, with just the right amount of ingredients, so that one flavor doesn't overpower the other. It's nice to have oregano on the side. Maybe a little too loud, but that's the space. Prosecco is so-so.

13/06/2026: I used it as a bacaro (traditional Venetian bar). I enjoyed drinking wine while chatting with the friendly staff. It's slightly cheaper than on the main island of Venice, and not priced for tourists, so it's affordable and has a great atmosphere. It's a bit hot in the sun, but it's a lovely place.

04/05/2026: The place has new owners; we'd been coming regularly since 2014. It had a nice clientele of locals, and we loved the wonderfully mixed fruit cocktails and cicchettes made by the friendly waitress. She's no longer there, and so is that great atmosphere. We were disappointed, but the service and Hugo were okay, and the price was reasonable.

22/05/2026: Had dinner for work, the staff were welcoming and kind, the food was good and the service was quick.

09/05/2026: The staff were very welcoming and friendly, however, the food was so-so. The escalopes had no sides and the Fritto Misto was tasteless, served with just a quarter of a lemon. I didn't enjoy my meal here. It's a shame; we ate better elsewhere on our last night.

15/08/2026: The food was okay overall, but unfortunately nothing special. The taste was decent, but we expected a bit more from an Italian restaurant. What really spoiled the visit, however, was the service. The staff seemed very listless and unmotivated, and we felt more like we were bothering them. Of course, it was a very hot day, and everyone can have a bad day – but that doesn't mean you should feel it so obviously as a guest. It's a shame, because with friendlier and more attentive service, the overall impression would have been much better. As it was, it somewhat dampened our enjoyment of the meal.

08/08/2026: Had two okay pizzas here. Service was also fine. Pizzas were tasty enough, but next time we’ll instead head a bit further into the city and find some food that is a couple of notches up.

01/08/2026: The value for money is excellent. Two pizzas, two beers, and a cover charge for €25.50 in Italy is hard to beat. Plus, the pizzas were good. However, our experience was ruined by the enormous number of mosquitoes on the terrace. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our pizzas while being relentlessly bitten, to the point that we ended up with more than 20 bites between the two of us. We finally had to order the pizzas to go because the situation was unbearable. What surprised us most was seeing other tables being offered mosquito repellent spray, while we, even after explaining the problem and being moved to another table, weren't offered any solution. Furthermore, the staff's reaction when we said we were leaving was quite cold. It's a shame, because the food is worth it, but with a little more attention to customer service (especially for tourists) and better management of this issue, the experience would have been completely different.

11/08/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, but this time I felt I had to. I have NEVER had such a TERRIBLE experience at a restaurant. I don't even know how to describe the "service", as the staff went from plain rude to downright hostile. They wouldn't stop staring at us, and to top it off, they put an anti-mosquito coil right next to our table. Aside from the awful smell, breathing in those fumes while trying to eat is actually a health hazard. As for the food, it was totally mediocre... Definitely not worth going there, neither for the food and especially not for the staff. If I were the owner and read this review, I’d fire every single one of them. True class in any business starts with good service, politeness, and basic courtesy. But clearly, courtesy is a foreign concept to them. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. Save yourself the trouble and avoid it entirely. I don't often take the time to leave reviews, but this was beyond me. I have NEVER had such a CATASTROPHIC experience in a restaurant. I don't even know how to describe the "service": the waiters were downright rude, even aggressive. They constantly watched us and even set up a mosquito coil right next to our table. Besides smelling awful, it's toxic to eat while breathing that stuff. The food? Nothing special at all... It's really not worth it, neither for what's on the plate, nor for the staff. If I were the owner and I read this review, I'd fire them all on the spot. The elegance of an establishment begins with good service and a minimum of politeness. But clearly, they don't know the meaning of courtesy. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Stay away! I have never seen a FURCHTBARE Erfahrung in a Restaurant gemacht. If the „Service“ beschreiben soll, weiß ich gar nicht erst: Das Personal war unhöflich, pampig und schlichtweg unverschämt. If you have a loose brooch and some sogar a Mückenspirale direkt neben den Tisch gesturellt. Abgesehen vom Gestank ist es gesundheitsschädlich, beim Essen solche Chemieabgase einzuatmen. Das Essen? Absolut nichts Besonderes... Es lohnt sich überhaupt nicht, dort einzukehren, weder wegen des Essens noch wegen des Personals. Wenn ich der Inhaber wäre und diese Bewertung läse, würde ich sie alle hochkant rauswerfen. Ein gutes Restaurant zeichnet sich zuallererst durch guten Service und Freundlichkeit aus. Aber Höflichkeit scheint hier ein Fremdwort zu sein. ABSOLUT NICHT ZU EMPFEHLEN. But if it's bigger than that, it's time to die!

12/08/2026: We ordered a burger and lasagna, both were delicious. The service was excellent. We sat inside the restaurant because of the heat.

24/07/2026: Very nice, they give you bread at the beginning but it's a bit expensive.

13/06/2025: I have no idea if the food is good here. We wanted to stop by for a late lunch today (3 pm). According to Google Maps, the trattoria is open until 4 pm. At 3 pm, all the chairs inside were stacked up and someone was cleaning the dining room. They should either update the information in Google Maps or wait until 4 pm to clean.

09/06/2026: Very helpful and friendly staff. I waited very little for my order. I chose spaghetti with clams: in my opinion, the pasta was more like tagliolini, but I was equally satisfied with both the quality and quantity. I would, however, suggest the sauce be free of tomato, as this would allow you to better appreciate the clams. I found the Venetian-style beef liver tender and appetizing; it would have been better if it had been accompanied by two slices of polenta instead of one. The bread provided on the table was also very good: typical Venetian bread! 😋 The side dish was mixed vegetables and French fries: good, well-stocked, and in just the right quantity. Congratulations to the owner and his talented staff. It's a small place that deserves a return visit.

09/06/2026: We found it as we walked in, asking if we could eat there. It was a quiet, untouristy place. The owner, Ana, served us quickly and made everything easy. The set menu was €18, and the food was fabulous and full of flavor. It was very reasonably priced for two people.

27/09/2025: Excellent service, very friendly, and good food. Easy and accessible, even for children.
