14/03/2026: Ristorante Al Covo, Venice 🇮🇹 An impeccable and memorable gastronomic experience! If you seek authenticity and excellence in Venice, Al Covo is a must-visit. We had a truly special lunch today, where everything flowed perfectly. The great difference, besides the top-notch cuisine, was the welcoming atmosphere of the staff. A special thank you to Richard, Lollo, and Sandra, who were simply sensational! They conducted the service with contagious humor and assertive communication, making the atmosphere light and very pleasant. It's rare to find such a perfect balance between professionalism and spontaneous friendliness. Every recommendation was spot-on, reflecting the care the restaurant has for its customers. The experience is well worth it. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the best of Venetian gastronomy with warm and human service.

14/03/2026: We snuck in at seven thirty for a ninety minute dinner that was outstanding. Also it was a family friendly place, which was remarkable given its serious foodie approach. Definitely plan to return!

The restaurant's atmosphere is truly welcoming and relaxing. The service was overall good, albeit a bit slow. However, the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff made up for this small inconvenience. I highly recommend La Marachella to anyone in Jesolo who wants to enjoy an unforgettable dinner in a pleasant and peaceful setting. I can't wait to return!

22/12/2025: We had dinner at this lovely Osteria. The gentleman was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, he made sure that we enjoyed ourselves throughout our dinner. The food was also excellent and we loved Trancio di Tonno (seared tuna) - beautifully rare inside. They also offered us home-made bread that just came out of the oven, which was a big bonus. We would recommend this Osteria to anybody, who shares a passion for good food and appreciates a warm welcome.

17/09/2025: Writing this in a spirit of euphoria still sitting at my table at the RistoPub Rossini, after having been served the best onion rings I have ever had, and a “Venice Burger” which honoured the city’s name through its over-the-top three tier culinary spectacle. The spectacular food wouldn't have mattered had it not been served with the attention, care, and smile of the friendly waiting staff who had been as happy as the entire atmosphere of the place. If you need a break from pizzas and pastas (not that that’s the whole spectrum of Italian cuisine), and are reminiscing a bit of the 90s, then, this is your place. It’s somewhat hidden in an alley - and that works, because the patrons here are of a different sort!! Highly recommended!

17/03/2026: I had the octopus salad and carbonara! In addition to having a Japanese menu, the staff even spoke Japanese words to us – it was a truly exceptional restaurant. It was delicious!!!

12/10/2025: I recommend the pancakes with bacon and eggs! The sweet maple syrup goes perfectly with them. The people are super nice, fast, polite, and accommodating. Even with the dogs, it was no problem. If you're not into the typical, sparse Italian hotel breakfast, stop by here. It's probably a bit more expensive, but you don't really look at that on vacation...the numerous tourist pizzerias are more likely to rip you off. Bottom line: definitely stop by; the young people make an effort to offer something different. The coffee machine is top-notch, and the dersut coffee is fantastic.

16/03/2026: One of the best restaurants in Venice. We had the spaghetti alle vongole and the tagliatelle with duck ragù, and it was excellent! The place is very pleasant, with a quiet terrace along the water. A less touristy and very peaceful spot.

Didn’t mind their “No Spritz” stance and didn’t get to try their Cicchetti, but all the staff are knowledgeable about their Wine offerings, and there are a bounty of options! Highly recommend if you are looking for some nice glasses of Wine in the neighborhood

08/03/2026: Great little spot for a quick bite and wine. We don't drink but we wanted to grab a snack where it was a little quieter and this was perfect. Super friendly staff and delicious cicchetti. They had a couple non-alcoholic options for us to consume which we appreciated. The prices were fantastic!
