17/09/2025: Writing this in a spirit of euphoria still sitting at my table at the RistoPub Rossini, after having been served the best onion rings I have ever had, and a “Venice Burger” which honoured the city’s name through its over-the-top three tier culinary spectacle. The spectacular food wouldn't have mattered had it not been served with the attention, care, and smile of the friendly waiting staff who had been as happy as the entire atmosphere of the place. If you need a break from pizzas and pastas (not that that’s the whole spectrum of Italian cuisine), and are reminiscing a bit of the 90s, then, this is your place. It’s somewhat hidden in an alley - and that works, because the patrons here are of a different sort!! Highly recommended!

08/01/2026: The appetizers, bruschetta, and risotto were all delicious! However, the appetizer in the first photo was 60 euros... We chose them from a selection lined up in a deli-like setting in the store, and when we asked, "Is this the one on the menu?" (I think it was around 30 euros on the menu), they said "Yes, yes!", so we trusted them, but we were still charged 60 euros. We don't know if this was a cashier's mistake or a deliberate rip-off, but when we looked at other people's reviews, we saw heaping portions of appetizers for a similar price, so we realized that our appetizers probably weren't the regular price after all. It's a shame because the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant were really good...

22/12/2025: We had dinner at this lovely Osteria. The gentleman was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, he made sure that we enjoyed ourselves throughout our dinner. The food was also excellent and we loved Trancio di Tonno (seared tuna) - beautifully rare inside. They also offered us home-made bread that just came out of the oven, which was a big bonus. We would recommend this Osteria to anybody, who shares a passion for good food and appreciates a warm welcome.

01/01/2026: My husband and I went to lunch at this restaurant. We received a very warm welcome. The dishes were truly delicious and expertly prepared: the gnocchi were so soft and perfectly seasoned 🤤. The service was professional and friendly. The bread and focaccia that accompanied the meal were simply delicious. Certainly the best bread my husband, a restaurateur himself, has ever tasted in a restaurant. We naturally finished with tiramisu, which was perfectly executed. Our favorite restaurant in Venice.

15/11/2025: We found this place by chance and we were really surprised by both the food (risotto ai funghi was spectacular) and the good service. Excellent views of the canal. 100% recommended.

07/12/2025: Very disappointing experience, especially for our kids on their first time in Venice. The pizza dough was so hard it couldn’t be cut or chewed — inedible (probably frozen an reheated multiple times). When we mentioned it while paying, the server reacted angrily and made an inappropriate comment instead of apologizing. Absolutely not recommended, especially for families.

08/01/2026: This place is Awesome !!!! My wife is a Cabernet Sauvignon woman.. and the staff picks one similar that makes her very happy. A small seat next to the canal makes the perfect garnish. The hike is worth it...
