29/08/2025: I've been coming here for years! My absolute favorite restaurant. Vegetarian cuisine, but suitable for every palate. Keep in mind that when I go with friends, I'm always the only one who doesn't eat meat, but we all leave happy and satisfied with the dishes. The menu always changes seasonally because everything is locally sourced. Excellent wines, explained in detail by Simone. The owners (all friendly and kind) have their own land where they grow the produce featured on the menu. They also have a couple of shops where you can find bread, fruit, vegetables, preserves, sauces, pesto, seitan, their magnificent vegan tartar sauce, cheeses, and more. The shop I go to is called Cerere and is located on Via Miranese in Mestre. In short... if you haven't already been... you'll fall in love with this splendid corner of paradise.

27/07/2025: Cozy place. All the food was good. Especially the recommended seafood salad (I don't know if it was on the menu) was delicious. The combination of olive oil and seafood was perfect.

21/07/2025: Very nice location, nice and friendly staff. For beer connoisseurs, there's a good selection of their own beers, so you can really enjoy yourself. And the best onion rings I've ever eaten. I'd love to come back.

24/07/2025: It's always a pleasure to come and eat at Mariano's. I've been to this restaurant many times, and each time I've been amazed by a new dish, a new flavor, a new way of working with simple, traditional, and delicious ingredients. The menu isn't overly extensive, but every dish is worth trying. The cod, in particular, in its many variations, undoubtedly holds a special place. The ambiance is meticulously crafted, with old souvenirs hanging on the walls that contribute to the restaurant's familiar, yet not overly homey, feel: the cuisine remains meticulously prepared. The bread basket surprisingly deserves special mention. Although it's a relatively minor element, the variety of crispy, flavorful breads, breadsticks, and "plain" bread I found at Mariano's has convinced me, after my first visit, to return again and again to this little gem of Venetian cuisine.

10/08/2025: Excellent selection of wines and unusual cicchetti. A very good place, with an excellent selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian cicchetti. Definitely more wine-oriented. Not super welcoming. But it's still a great stop on a Bavarian tour of Venice.

16/06/2025: Absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. Our group of 19 was warmly welcomed, and the staff handled everything with such grace and efficiency—it was honestly impressive how quickly and seamlessly the food came out. Every dish was outstanding, but the deboned sea bass prepared tableside was a showstopper. The lobster pasta and seafood pasta were rich and flavorful, and the lasagna and carpaccio had people at the table raving. The oysters were fresh and beautifully served. Most of all, the team made us feel completely taken care of throughout the entire evening. Incredibly accommodating, incredibly delicious—we’d come back many times over without hesitation.

30/08/2025: First of all: The food is really good, it tasted good (I had a pizza). It was quite comfortable to sit there, and everything else was fine. However, the one star I'm giving here is due to an incident with the owner. I was there with two friends, one of whom wrote a one-star review while we were still there (both of his ordered dishes were cold, so understandable). We sat there for a while longer to play cards, and suddenly the owner came over and excitedly asked us if the review was from us. Because we were playing cards and didn't want to be interrupted, we said it wasn't from us. Suddenly, he became really aggressive and repeatedly asked us to show our ID, as if he had the right to do so. When we then signaled to him and said that we were happy to leave, he sat down next to my colleague, preventing him from getting up. When he asked him to make room, he held him there and didn't shy away from physical contact. We just wanted to leave, and then he started loudly insulting us, calling us bastards. Thank goodness the waitress eventually came out to break things up. I think if the waitress hadn't come, the whole thing would have escalated even further. This is not only unprofessional but completely unacceptable behavior. I've rarely seen anything like it.

06/09/2025: The food was terrible. The tartare was awful -it was like animal food, completely inedible. Primi piatti were all purées of cheap ingredients, the kind of thing I cook when I come home drunk. Perhaps the chef has just become a father and discovered puréeing. It's a waste of money.

18/08/2025: I had one of the best and freshest sea basses I've ever had. We went the first day, but we regretted not going back the second. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Two sea basses, a glass of wine, and a coke cost around 70 euros. It's a bit pricey when you convert it to Turkish Lira, but most places of this quality in Venice are around that price.

Proper local home cooked food that doesn't bust the bank. Outstanding dish had the be; the wild boar tagliatelle and the seafood lasagna. Wish was staying longer so we could go back to try more delicious dishes Thank you
