07/05/2026: Based on the ratings we expected great food and experience although very far from it. The fish was dry, over cooked, and even burned as well as the vegetables not being fresh and dry. We were never asked if it was fine with very limited service. We certainly expected much better for 100 euros for two before drinks. Extremely disappointing especially that there are so many great restaurants in Venice. Also could hardly speak English.

01/06/2026: Two Taiwanese travelers walked from Xueyuan Bridge to the market in the morning, finding a relaxing space in the alleyways and under the bridges. The owner of Boresso was friendly and had excellent taste in music.
A cappuccino, Earl Grey tea, a ham sandwich, and some iced water made for a small but satisfying moment.

04/07/2026: We had a great time, as always! The fish was delicious and fresh. Mussels, creamed cod, risotto di go, tagliolini with blue crab, grilled bisatto, and mixed fried fish. Superb lunch! Everything was really good. I also appreciate the time they give the waiters to work.

The staff was the absolute highlight of our day. It was truly beautiful to watch them work with so much passion, care, and dedication to their customers. They made us feel so welcome and looked after.
It is so refreshing to see a restaurant combine top-tier culinary excellence with such a meaningful, inclusive initiative. The entire experience was flawless and heartwarming. Highly recommended when in Venice!

11/06/2026: A beautiful and unique place! They have delicious coffee and even better panna cotta. There's a beautiful and well-kept mini garden at the back of the restaurant. Kudos to the helpful and kind waitress, Rajaa.

We researched lots of restaurants in Venice as well as having a very bad experience the night before at one that was obviously out preying on tourists (Trattoria le Colonete -Don’’t go there!!). We couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough for the food, ambience and service. Rajaa and Dudo gave us exceptional service. Thank you for making our trip to Venice even more special! 😊

17/07/2026: San Silvestro was excellent. We shared the Grilled Octopus as an Appetizer. It was perfectly cooked and tasty. As a main I had Linguine with Scampi and Spicy tomato sauces. Absolutely Delicious!!! My spouse had a wonderful Spaghetti with Clams.
Service was wonderful. Attentive and very friendly. They gave free bread and at the end treated us to a shot of Lemon cello. The price was fair. Absolutely The best meal we had in Venice!!!
16/07/2026: Had the most wonderful dinner here, largely thanks to our waiter Simo! His energy and passion for the menu made the whole evening special — he recommended dishes with such enthusiasm you could tell he genuinely loves what he does. Attentive without being overbearing, quick with a joke, and clearly proud of the restaurant. Made us feel like family. Will definitely be back and hope to get Simo’s table again!

11/03/2026: The best food by far in Venice!! We are seafood lovers and we loved everything we ordered. We are not pudding people but ordered the chocolate sphere as we wanted to see if the desserts were as good as the other food. We were not disappointed! Absolutely amazing!!
