This was my second trip to Venice, and I revisited this place, which I loved the first time around.
It reaffirmed my belief that this is truly the bacaro (Venice bar).
When I ordered the house wine, the staff smiled, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere.
It made me realize once again that alcohol should be enjoyed in a fun and relaxed setting.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.
I will definitely be back.

It's one of those places that seems to preserve the most authentic soul of Venice.
Among shelves full of bottles, creative cicchetti, and shared ombre di vino along the Dorsoduro canal, this historic bacaro reflects the true city: simple, convivial, and profoundly Venetian.
A place where time slows down and every glass smells of tradition, encounters, and beauty.

This was our second time in Venice and we stumbled upon this little gem of a wine bar. Absolutely incredible. The food was super fresh and delicious, especially the little sandwiches, and everything was very affordable. We also tried the wine, which was amazing and reasonably priced too. We sat outside by the water and just enjoyed the atmosphere — such a fantastic experience. Definitely one of our favourite spots in Venice and somewhere we would happily come back to again!

The food is delicious...unfortunately, the service is terrible. They serve you reluctantly; if you're Italian, the owner (or at least he seemed to be) will be friendly, otherwise he'll send someone else to serve you.

Delicious. Perfect cicchetti. Fresh and tasty. These are venetian open mini sandwiches.
Wines by the glass, the chianti was superb.
This is very affordable and fun as a lunch quick lunch standing up inside.
Lots of variety of cicchetti toppings.
Quick and efficient service.
Highly recommend a visit.

I saw the restaurant in Phil's TV series and we had to try it during our visit to Venice. We were thrilled, and the price was absolutely fantastic for Venice. I'll definitely be back.
