05/03/2026: We stopped by Caffè Montanucci while in Orvieto and really enjoyed it. The place has a very nice atmosphere and it’s quite big, with lots of seating which is always a plus. We came early so there was no queue and the service was quick. There’s a lot to choose from - plenty of pastries, cakes and also some sandwiches. I had a focaccia sandwich which was really lovely, and we also tried a cake with fresh cream that was just perfect. What surprised us the most were the prices. For such good food and a nice place, everything was very affordable. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for breakfast or something sweet while in Orvieto.

01/03/2026: Drawn by the beauty of this place, we go in for a coffee. Given the vast selection of products, I even tell my companion to get dessert there later and not to order it at the restaurant. The only flaw here is the service: neither a hello nor a goodbye. My companion goes to get a croissant with the receipt in hand, and the lady tells him she has to prepare the dishes for the tables. After twenty minutes, we leave without having had a chance to eat the croissant. This is all due to an organizational problem with the staff. I must have counted five people behind the counter, and not being able to grab a handkerchief and pass each other a croissant is truly absurd. Hmm…

19/09/2025: The restaurant doesn't offer much from the outside, and it doesn't look welcoming inside because it seems bare. The staff is polite, smiling, and helpful. The pizza is thin, tasty, and crispy for those who like it. I had a good time.

03/02/2026: We absolutely loved everything here! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making you feel like you're dining with family: a wonderful and comforting experience. We don't eat meat, and in Umbria it's often difficult to find a restaurant that combines quality and creativity for those who follow a pescetarian and vegetarian diet. Here, however, we had a wonderful time. The chef is simply extraordinary: every dish on the menu, some of which are (deservedly) award-winning, is meticulously crafted and prepared with great attention to both flavor and health. The combinations of ingredients and flavors were delicate and harmonious, a true delight for the taste buds. Every bite exuded passion and skill, and the result was truly memorable. The staff is extremely friendly, personable, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. We also greatly appreciated the choice of music: that evening, listening to Pino Daniele while we dined made everything even more special, because he's an artist my partner and I deeply love. In short, "Due Terre" is more than just a restaurant: it's a place where quality, flavor, and hospitality blend seamlessly. We can't wait to return!

01/02/2026: We booked a table for eight for a Saturday evening in late January. Shortly after we sat down, the owner/chef/all-round waitress began: "I'll get to you slowly, no rush..." Not a good start! Quote. We were given the menus after about 20 minutes, and it took just as long to order. Meanwhile, the drinks were brought by a young, dark-skinned foreigner who didn't even know where he was, spoke no Italian, barely any English, and couldn't even place the drinks on the table, leaving them in the corner in case they fell, and to make matters worse, he also messed up the other diners' dishes. After just 45 minutes, the appetizers arrived, all at once because, fortunately, we had ordered the same dish. We waited an hour for the main course (to make sure we'd digested well), but only for those who had ordered the same dishes; the other two different dishes came out 20 minutes apart. The food was adequate, but questionable in flavor and taste, especially considering the prices. Limoncello was offered at the end of the evening, having skipped dessert due to the biblical wait times. The surprising part is how they manage to get 5 stars on any review platform; most likely by paying someone or asking customers for positive reviews in exchange for discounts or other similar reasons.

29/12/2025: Beautiful location. Excellent food, the homemade tortellini for CHRISTMAS Day were special. Very attentive and efficient staff. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

28/12/2025: A very well-kept and welcoming location, the food is truly delicious; the ingredients are of excellent quality, prepared with full respect and appreciation for local flavors. This year we also chose it for Christmas lunch and were truly satisfied. The first courses were excellent, especially the handmade tortellini in broth, and the meat-based second courses were excellent. The owners are extremely kind. I highly recommend it!

11/03/2026: Every time I enter Bar Pazzaglia in Terni, it's like finding a pleasant surprise. I almost always order an Americano, but what really wins me over are the tramezzini: incredibly fresh, delicious, a true delight. Every bite gives me a little thrill, that authentic satisfaction that only things made with care can provide. And what about the croissants and pastries? Absolutely delicious! The staff is always kind, attentive, and professional, and that makes all the difference. I love sitting in the interior dining room, where I find the privacy and tranquility I seek: a little refuge in the heart of the city. A special place, which I sincerely recommend. 26/01/2026: The price and seating are high compared to the amount of food served. I can't give it a high score for the quality of the food and the length of the meal. There are plenty of restaurants in the heart of the city, so you'll want to browse around before making your decision. I was even more hesitant after I sat down when I realized they offered me a table in front of the restrooms, even though there were better tables in the back. I hope this consideration for the enjoyment of a meal is shared with all guests.

25/01/2026: They welcomed us graciously when others were already closed or full, in the pouring rain. We ate excellent, delicious and original food. The noise-absorbing panels hung from the ceiling by the chef-engineer were much appreciated! The paintings on the walls are also his: a man of many talents! His wife is in the dining room and is happy to tell you about their major life change. Nice wine list. Fair prices for a place and food that are worth a visit!

03/03/2026: A go-to pizza spot in the city. The place may be a little small, but that doesn't matter: there's always room for an extra chair, and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate every customer's requests! I used to go there under the old management, and I recently returned under the new one. Nothing has changed, the pizza is still the same—in my opinion, the best in all of Terni, by far! They also offer gluten-free pizza. A few more appetizers have been added to the menu, broadening the variety. In addition to pizza, you can also choose from pasta and meat dishes. Everything is always delicious. The tiramisu at Chiodo Fisso is unbeatable.

03/02/2026: This restaurant is next to the cathedral, slightly hidden at the back of the square. The two of us had carbonara, umbrichelli, and a truffle tagliata with sautéed mushrooms, as well as two desserts and coffee: everything was excellent and the portions generous. The presentation was also beautiful. The waiter was very friendly. €40 per person, with a small discount as a pleasant surprise. A very fair price for such high quality!
