02/03/2026: Two words sum up my experience there: Simple and Pure! We found the restaurant by chance; we arrived at the place, an out-of-this-world restaurant from times gone by. (Don't look at the outside; you'll miss all the magic inside.) At the entrance, a gentleman named Carlo welcomed us. He immediately introduced himself with a brief introduction to his life and what he loves to do every day! We sat down at the table, two men and two women, and suddenly Carlo brought us two beautiful, freshly picked yellow roses—a simple gesture that was more than appreciated! We started with a beautiful "primrose platter" and he explained everything inside and how it was produced. Every bite tasted of quality and love. The first courses were indescribable, a unique flavor! The desserts are all worth trying, each one better than the last. While we were eating lunch, we heard a newborn goat crying, so we were curious and asked if we could see him. Suddenly, he brought him to the table, a beautiful goat named Pippo, who kept us company for a few minutes, a wonderful experience we'd never had before. Also, when we were about to leave, Carlo showed up with a bottle of water and four glasses, useful for the return trip since we were coming from Rome... we were speechless! But in all of this, the real experience was getting to know a person like Carlo, full of joy, always attentive in his manners, thoughtful, satisfied with where he's arrived now with all his sacrifices (things that are overlooked these days). What can I say... not just a simple lunch, but a real emotion!

19/02/2026: The location is quaint and pleasant, but the welcome upon entry needs updating. The waiters seem to have stumbled upon the place by chance, and the service is slow and chaotic...long waits between courses. The wine list doesn't reflect the availability...we chose a 2022 vintage, but they actually brought us the same wine, but from 2024...when we pointed this out, the waiter couldn't explain, other than that the 2022 vintage was "perhaps" sold out. The cured meats are good, but the rest could be better. The prices are excessive considering the wait and the inaccurate service.

10/02/2026: Amazing place. The interior seems frozen in time, a dive into the past where everything was tranquil. The food is excellent, and the staff is up to par. We were there for a party and the entire restaurant was booked, and it's perfect for these occasions. With the various rooms, everyone has their own space without disturbing or creating confusion, but still allowing everyone to be together. Beautiful!

Large frescoed rooms and an internal courtyard reminiscent of a medieval Italian patio. Beautiful location, we often return for lunch or dinner. The dishes are delicious. Very clean. Large spaces, suitable for groups, or a romantic balcony for couples. Must try.

01/02/2026: To visit a dear friend, my partner and I went to Otricoli and had lunch at this trattoria. It's a 16th-century building beneath which lies a very evocative pre-Roman cave. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and the menu is a mix of tradition and experimentation, featuring local products and a focus on vegetarians. As for the food, everything was exceptional, from appetizers to desserts. I had the memorable stuffed agnolotti, with a unique flavor that won me over. I would personally recommend this dish to anyone who wants to try this place. My partner, however, highly recommends the chickpea and spinach croquettes, with their homemade mayonnaise. For dessert, Giorgia's tiramisu is truly unforgettable. If you're passing through, this trattoria is a must-try.

Accommodation options range from private apartments to camping. The only downside is the dusty track leading to the castle. Driving slowly and keeping the car's ventilation closed is advisable... otherwise, everything will be covered in fine white dust, and your lungs will be irritated! A wonderful place for retreats, seminars, family celebrations, and weddings. The food is first-class, and the staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction. Accommodation options range from private apartments to camping. The only downside is the dusty road leading to the castle. If you use the guides and the tenere chiusi in the fans of the car... 05/01/2026: We originally came to Charlie’s looking for pizza but accidentally arrived too early to get pizza. Regardless it was amazing, the vegetable soup was perfect for a cold day. My sister who has celiac, often making it difficult to find an enjoyable dining experience, was met with many options on the menu. She was even given gluten free crackers as an alternative for the bread the rest of us were given. We had many restrictions in our party aside from the celiac, including nut allergies and a vegetarian diet, all of which were accommodated to. The wine and espresso were both amazing and had great flavor. The service was excellent and our server was patient with us, providing us insight on the menu in English. This is most definitely somewhere I would recommend.

04/01/2026: The waiter was arrogant. We asked for fries for a little girl, and he replied in a curt tone, "We don't do that here..." The pizza, on the other hand, was delicious.

28/02/2026: You probably won't find it on The Fork or TripAdvisor, but it deserves five stars for the quality of the food and the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Excellent dishes prepared directly by the owner.

10/01/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We ate well. Tagliatelle with black truffle was truly delicious. The Orvieto Chardonnay was excellent. The wild boar with polenta and the mixed boiled meats were equally excellent. The desserts, both the castagnaccio and the ricotta cake, were truly delicious. The price was in line with the quality of the ingredients. Definitely worth trying.

17/01/2026: Ivan, what can I say? A truly delightful discovery! Farmhouse egg with truffles was AMAZING, Cinta Senese ravioli, and sliced ​​steak with porcini mushrooms to mop up the sauce. 06/01/2026: A great surprise!!! At the parking lot of the lower viewpoint of the Marmore Falls, among the sandwich trucks and refreshment stands, there's this restaurant that could easily be a tourist trap. Instead, it's a real restaurant with a very welcoming atmosphere, very friendly service, and good food at fair prices. The menu specializes in meats, but there's a bit of everything. They could have made an easier choice, but instead they went for quality. Well done!

21/10/2025: My husband and I hiked the Silent Villages Trail, and on our second stop, we dined at the Uva Passera Osteria. Excellent lasagna and sautéed chicory with a fantastic burger (I'm celiac and was able to eat without any problems). Excellent cuisine, a warm welcome, and all the sunshine of Umbria and this splendid village of Morre, with its many lovely people. (I also wanted to mention the girl from the Arci club.)

04/11/2025: We had lunch here on our last day in Orvieto. We had focaccia with prosciutto, stuffed rabbit with a side dish, and pavlova. The food was very good, the place was very nice, and the service was attentive. Everything was great.

17/10/2025: We booked with The Fork. Excellent welcome. An unsolicited entree kicked off the meal. We asked for a carbonara with a pasta substitution, and they accommodated us without further ado. However, I found the carbonara a bit disjointed, although good. But my 10/10 goes to the Argentine Angus steak with soy sauce reduction. A stroke of genius.
