08/05/2025: Located inside a medieval village, the tavern is already impressive once you arrive. Really beautiful and tidy. The food, which reflects the local food and wine culture, is of an excellent standard. Absolutely worth trying also considering the price which I think is more than honest!

24/05/2025: Hidden under Cinema Zenith, inside the S. Girolamo housing complex, there is the Nadir restaurant. It is a place made to pamper yourself with food and good company because at first glance it seems small and, thanks to the minimalist furnishings, it gives an intimate dimension to your dinner. The welcome is warm and the availability of the staff is complete. The menu focuses on a few well-prepared dishes with exceptional raw materials. The details of the plating were also very interesting, but I, being a ferocious beast, could hardly resist satisfying the sight. On the other hand, the palate thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening. I promised myself not to eat the bread, but intrigued (or probably enticed) by the news that it was produced by them, I almost emptied the tray. The wine selection is well curated but minimalist. All these factors combine to make a happy evening. The place is entirely on the ground floor, so it is easily accessible even for disabled people. Unfortunately there is no adjacent parking. The bill turns out to be more than adequate for the quality of the dinner, and I highly recommend you visit Nadir.

22/05/2025: A hidden soup place and you are lucky to have found it. Don't look for anything there other than the crunchy brustichini, the fresh soups and the DOC wines, accompanied by nice music and kind service. Also the place is very cool and welcoming. Highly recommended!

05/05/2025: WARNING this is a place for HUMAN people who like to appreciate where and what they are eating and like to enrich themselves with the experience of those who do this job. We had a divine meal in this medieval trattoria/tavern dominated by a large working fireplace; I have a carnivorous menu, my wife has a vegetarian menu, not the usual meat, not the usual vegetables but dishes designed and reasoned with the heart of those who want to enjoy a culinary experience without barriers e.g. fried elderflower and borage; beans all'uccelletta; agnolotti with rustic ragù with truffle, brioscia filled with dried tomato pesto, almonds and smoked scamorza; artichoke and asparagus lasagna etc... the bill was honestly proportionate to the quantity and quality of the dishes, thank you all, a hug to the cook, who I missed, we will come back for it next time!!!

15/05/2025: Beautiful experience, everything excellent, very kind staff and a friendly and welcoming host, in love with his job and the food he offers to his customers, he even satisfied a vegetarian like me, offering me various alternatives, the strawberry tiramisu was delicious, excellent value for money, if I hadn't had to leave immediately I would have returned, I hope to do so soon anyway 😜

18/05/2025: We left Villa Selva a few hours ago. We return home inebriated by the tranquility of the place, but above all by the warm and familiar welcome that Giorgione and his sons reserve. Our room was spacious with an adjoining very comfortable living room. It is reductive and obvious to say that we ate very well because you have to live this experience personally to appreciate the quality of the products and the excellent cuisine, in addition to the infinite variety offered. We were also impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, in particular we take with us the memory of Mrs. Mara always attentive, discreet, kind and helpful, especially with me, in finding an impromptu alternative to a second course that was not meat-based. I conclude by thanking all the staff, in particular Giorgione whose simplicity, friendliness and affability is equal to that which we appreciate so much on TV. Infinite thanks and see you soon

10/05/2025: Walked in for an interesting fixed price menu which turned out to be a bluff to attract people. The menu would have worked only if ordered, complete, by at least 2 people, otherwise, like us, 1 complete menu + 2 partial menus, everything was counted à la carte with a total surcharge. In the coffee cup there were more grounds than the coffee itself. Amaro offered by the house. We don't think we'll go back to that place.

30/05/2025: Di passaggio a piedi a Trevi lungo la Via di Francesco, per la cena é stata una piacevolissima scoperta. Ambiente accogliente e familiare, bello cenare con musica d'epoca che rende ancor più piacevole il degustare i prelibati piatti tipici con prodotti locali. Una vera chicca da non perdere.

26/04/2025: Ci siamo dirette in questo “angolo del buongusto” convinte dalle ottime recensioni lette… e non posso che scriverne a mia volta un’altra! Abbiamo preso un Tagliere del Solitario in due, che conteneva assaggi di cinta senese, finocchiona e altri salumi tipici umbro-toscani insieme a un assaggio di pecorino di tre diverse stagionature. Il tutto accompagnato dalla tipica torta al testo e pane. La mia amica ha poi preso un cestino con stracciatella e scaglie di tartufo e io un crostino (che in realtà erano tanti crostini) con lardo di cinta senese e scaglie di tartufo. Tutto squisito! Non abbiamo bevuto vino ma ho potuto notare che la selezione era alquanto vasta e interessante. Consigliatissimo per un ottimo pasto nel borgo di Castiglione!

21/04/2025: Siamo tornati per la seconda volta dopo tre anni in questo locale dove siamo stati benissimo, piatti tipici della cucina umbra davvero squisiti e personale cordiale e disponibile.

Complimenti ad Elena, Filippo e a tutto lo staff che lavora ogni giorno per mantenere così alto il livello dell’Agriturismo. Nota di merito ulteriore: la qualità del cibo. Dalle torte eccezionali a colazione, al ristorante che offre specialità veramente varie e buonissime.
