14/03/2026: Highly recommended. The atmosphere is simple but clean. The food is excellent, without frills, and at reasonable prices. Simple, home-style dishes, carefully prepared with top-quality ingredients. A true Italian trattoria, the kind I like.
Thank goodness places like this still exist.
The owner is incredibly friendly and kind.
They also make delicious cookies to take away.
11/03/2026: I stopped in for dinner here while visiting from Chicago, Illinois while on pilgrimage to see St. Rita. The family that runs the restaurant are all extremely nice and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Cascia.

13/03/2026: We stayed one night and had dinner the evening of our arrival. We immediately felt at home. The dinner was excellent, with well-prepared dishes, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Thanks to Mr. Gianpiero for his kindness in welcoming us. We'll definitely be back.

28/02/2026: I have been to Ristorante Stella a number of times over the last 4 years. The food is always excellent, the service is fantastic and the price is very reasonable. Last night I had the carcoifi fritti, ossobucco, panna cotta and a wonderful Raina white wine. I could not have asked for a better dinner. For the first time I also stayed in one of their rooms, which was above the restaurant. The bed was possibly one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a fun/interesting design. I highly recommend both their rooms and the restaurant!

11/03/2026: “At first, we were almost hesitant to go in because the place is so beautiful and well-kept that we thought it would be very expensive. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised: given the quality of the food and especially the kindness of the staff, the prices are truly more than fair. In many tourist restaurants, you pay a lot and eat very little, but here, on the other hand, you eat very well and spend just the right amount. A truly wonderful discovery.” 😊
11/03/2026: I was walking in Assisi when I saw this beautiful establishment. At first I was a little hesitant because I thought it would be too expensive, but instead I had a great time. The quality of the ingredients is really high, and everything we ate was delicious: truffles, meat, carpaccio, and hummus. I'm just sorry that the beauty of the place might scare some people, because in reality the prices are fair and you can tell they serve locals more than tourists.

19/02/2026: The location is quaint and pleasant, but the welcome upon entry needs updating. The waiters seem to have stumbled upon the place by chance, and the service is slow and chaotic...long waits between courses.
The wine list doesn't reflect the availability...we chose a 2022 vintage, but they actually brought us the same wine, but from 2024...when we pointed this out, the waiter couldn't explain, other than that the 2022 vintage was "perhaps" sold out.
The cured meats are good, but the rest could be better.
The prices are excessive considering the wait and the inaccurate service.
10/02/2026: Amazing place. The interior seems frozen in time, a dive into the past where everything was tranquil.
The food is excellent, and the staff is up to par.
We were there for a party and the entire restaurant was booked, and it's perfect for these occasions. With the various rooms, everyone has their own space without disturbing or creating confusion, but still allowing everyone to be together.

They always offer a complimentary digestif, the crescia is the best in Gubbio, and Isidoro & Team are perfect!
The prices are very low and the atmosphere is fantastic!

14/10/2025: Amazing restaurant placed at panicales Piazza. Menu and food was made and prepared in the little kitchen by the wife while the husband and daughter is walking around the restaurant making sure the guests are having an fantastic time.
We have our boy (8 years) and they had a special Bambino dish - which was pasta - and they charged us 12€ for it. And he loved it.
I have a soft spot for tiramisu - and Lilo Tatinis Tiramisu is amazing!
