25/12/2025: Unfortunately my experience which took place on Christmas Day was negative, I must say that I had booked a month in advance and instead they had not marked the reservation by putting us in a room that was not heated by the sun, we ate with our coats there were 4 of us. The waiters who logically put their faces on it every time they came apologized so a 10 to them who are polite and good at their job but the organization leaves a lot to be desired, as for food I only liked the lasagna which was really good the presto did not satisfy me, you know it is a special day and it would be better to try on a quieter day. We will not return, the owner with whom we had the pleasure of speaking did not show up.

Large frescoed rooms and an internal courtyard reminiscent of a medieval Italian patio. Beautiful location, we often return for lunch or dinner. The dishes are delicious. Very clean. Large spaces, suitable for groups, or a romantic balcony for couples. Must try.

01/02/2026: To visit a dear friend, my partner and I went to Otricoli and had lunch at this trattoria. It's a 16th-century building beneath which lies a very evocative pre-Roman cave. The staff is very kind and welcoming, and the menu is a mix of tradition and experimentation, featuring local products and a focus on vegetarians. As for the food, everything was exceptional, from appetizers to desserts. I had the memorable stuffed agnolotti, with a unique flavor that won me over. I would personally recommend this dish to anyone who wants to try this place. My partner, however, highly recommends the chickpea and spinach croquettes, with their homemade mayonnaise. For dessert, Giorgia's tiramisu is truly unforgettable. If you're passing through, this trattoria is a must-try.

08/12/2025: Yesterday, Sunday, around 3:00 PM, we were looking for a place that was open to eat and we came across this beautiful restaurant. A stunning veranda overlooking the center of Marsciano, with lots of plants and flowers on the walls. The waiter, despite the hour, welcomed us kindly. He served us a platter of cold cuts, warm bruschetta, and high-quality cheeses. Handmade tagliolini with white ragù and truffle shavings were a delicacy we will never forget. To finish, a sublime tiramisu by the glass. Such kindness and friendliness! Excellent quality/price ratio. We have saved it among our favorites, we want to return soon to discover the rest of the menu!

What can I say: you truly feel at home! The dishes are explained in great detail, as are the drinks, all in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Alessandra's touch in the kitchen is truly outstanding... Inside, it offers limited seating, a simple yet welcoming atmosphere, and the owners clearly and truly embrace their work with passion and, above all, love. Floyd is one of those businesses that deserves recognition: for their commitment to selecting locally sourced, top-quality, and seasonal ingredients; for their desire to perpetuate such an authentic vision in an increasingly less tangible world; for the poetry they bring to the table and their culinary preparations; for the music they carefully select to accompany their dishes. Because it's not enough to nourish the body; we must also remember to care for our souls. Dinner at Floyd was surprising. A menu with just a few dishes, but extremely carefully crafted and of the highest quality, a comprehensive choice even for those who choose to be vegetarian or vegan. The key ingredients in the dishes are refined yet simple, some even harking back to a long-forgotten ancient cuisine. These dishes are rarely found in mainstream restaurants, yet they embody so much of the local area and healthy eating. A special mention goes to the chocolate cake, which reminded me of the one my mom used to make, and which made me feel even more pampered and at home.

Accommodation options range from private apartments to camping. The only downside is the dusty track leading to the castle. Driving slowly and keeping the car's ventilation closed is advisable... otherwise, everything will be covered in fine white dust, and your lungs will be irritated! 15/03/2026: I think it's one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten in Central Italy. The dough literally melts in your mouth, even though it has a thick crust, yet it's so light it disappears in your mouth. The ingredients used for the toppings are top-quality, from the truffle to the Black Angus beef, the yellow datterini tomatoes, and more. The staff, all very young, are attentive and friendly, always smiling. I don't recommend it, but I highly recommend it!!! If you're in the area, or like us, who make the trip there specifically, it's truly worth it. Because they deserve to eat a pizza made properly. I've been going there for three years now, and I can say I've seen a remarkable growth in this place. They have a pizza that, in my opinion, few can match—not least because Il Forchettiere named it the best pizzeria in Umbria.

24/02/2026: I rarely give five stars, but here I feel like it. We went to Gubbio and, while searching, we found this restaurant. The outside doesn't match the inside. The place has been renovated and is very welcoming. It has a grill, a pizzeria, and a kitchen. I should start by saying that it was crowded and it was Tuesday lunchtime. Not being very hungry but wanting a good first course, we ordered tagliatella with porcini mushrooms and truffle and tagliatella with hare ragù. The photos speak for themselves. The food was delicious, tasty, well-cooked, and seasoned. We couldn't find a single flaw. Unfortunately, we didn't try the meats, but the ones we saw passing by looked excellent, nor did the pizza. The price? More than fair, €35 including a quarter of wine, two coffees, and a liter of water, plus cover charge, of course. The staff was extremely kind and professional. What can I say? If you're in the area, stopping by this restaurant is a must.
