13/11/2025: The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I've been going there more for lunch than in the evening. The food is excellent, always made with top-quality ingredients and unique flavors. Highly recommended, even for those who want to try dishes outside of Orvieto's traditional cuisine. The octopus soup is exceptional.

11/11/2025: Excellent Lunch ! Friendly, Professional Service. Pappardelle w/ Goose Ragu. Flavor and cooked perfectly. Roast Rabbit "Porchetta". On a bed of delicious sautéed spinach - excellent flavor and simple presentation. Superb! Ribollita. As thick as it gets and flavorful. A flavorful Mesclun Salad w/Goodies and EVOO. Lemon Torte & Cherry Cake with a perfect Espresso Macchiato. Two glasses of local wine & a bottle of water. 95€ - worth every penny. Bravo !

01/10/2025: With these local ingredients and scenery, it would difficult to create an unpleasant dining experience, and yet this place manages it. There is plenty of choice in Spello, go elsewhere (think the owner has confused us with someone else - we tried to eat)

23/09/2025: A random choice that turned out to be excellent: a welcoming atmosphere, excellent and clean rooms with all the amenities, and very welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast; we didn't have lunch or dinner. Definitely choose it.

25/09/2025: We went here with a group of nine people because the restaurant was recommended in the magazine, falstaff, which is a specialized wine magazine. The wine selection indeed was very comprehensive. However, as we ordered a 40 year old red wine, they did not have a decanter. I was very surprised by that. Also they regularly forgot to pour the wine and simply opened the wine bottle and left it on the table 😂 with some bottles we ordered being at 100-200 eur each. Very weird. The food was good the location was amazing. I have to say is that the service was absolutely unprofessional and rude in part. The guy who was serving us, was boarder line annoyed with every request.

23/05/2025: This was a lovely little find with a calm relaxed chilled vibe. The highlight was the curated wine list with some very resonantly priced and exceptional little gems. The food was also very delicious the only negative was that we asked for a medium fillet and it came rare, we asked again to cook it a bit more and it came back slightly seared. The real class of this quaint eatery was show by the owner who without hesitation removed the item from our bill. Well played sir well played! highly recommended!!!

28/09/2025: I really liked the hotel. The ground floor has large windows overlooking a park. The room was spacious, and the bed was king-size and very comfortable. There are two things that could be improved: the pillows and the breakfast. Otherwise, it's also in a very convenient location!

25/09/2025: The Hotel dei Duchi in Spoleto is an architectural structure by the rationalist architect Nicolosi, offering views and glass spaces overlooking the landscape, Roman ruins, and part of the Archaeological Museum. The rooms are renovated and equipped with basic but well-appointed amenities. Sleeping is very comfortable, with mattresses, toppers, and pillows of varying densities. The breakfast is very extensive, with pastries and the essentials for a savory breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff are available for car parking (reservation required).

12/09/2025: I can't describe the culinary experience I had at this retro gem, the undisputed kingdom of His Majesty the Umbrian truffle! The platter of traditional local cured meats and cheeses was a true triumph of the wisdom of Umbrian master charcuterie makers. The paccheri with eggplant sauce brought back memories of the simple flavors of my mother's cooking (she made them often, and it was always a treat for me to eat them). The guinea fowl breast stuffed with potatoes was warm and fragrant, while the millefeuille with Chantilly cream and berries concluded with a flourish, a blend reminiscent of autumn. And what can I say about the kindness, spontaneity, and warmth of Mrs. Rafaella and her husband? They simply make you feel at home. I will gladly return here as soon as I'm in the area again!

They listened to my needs and what I had to say, attentive to my every request, and made the evening perfect and super fun! Gabriele and Jasmin are the best ❤️

26/10/2025: Graduation party, a good experience, though a bit pricey for the amount of food served. The team was fantastic and helpful, however. The venue was well-maintained and original.

27/07/2025: The gelato was delicious. We tried it three times: black cherry, hazelnut, Dubai Chocolate, milk chocolate, and pistachio. All delicious. Definitely worth a try.

28/09/2025: We stayed at this farmhouse nestled in the woods for just one night. We had a wonderful time. The room was welcoming, well-kept and very clean. The view was stunning. The owner was very kind. The breakfast was special, with homemade cakes, honey, and jams. It was an experience to be repeated.

19/09/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and moderate prices. Despite its predominantly tourist clientele, the culinary traditions of our beloved Italy are never lost in every dish. Excellent appetizers, tasty first courses, and delicious meat. The grocery store is also open during the day for those of us who were nearby on vacation. Highly recommended!

03/11/2025: Nice restaurant, but otherwise a bit disappointing. The welcome was unfriendly: the waitress seemed annoyed because, just five minutes after we'd been handed the menu, we still weren't ready to order. Around 2:45 PM, they were already sweeping the tables with brooms and dustpans, giving the impression of trying to ask customers to leave, even though many were still eating. Furthermore, the risotto arrived just five minutes after we'd ordered, which was unusual for a dish that requires a certain amount of cooking, and the result was rather mediocre. Bathroom tip: The figurine should be purely decorative, not a soap container. It's neither hygienic nor practical to reach for soap from an open object by inserting your hands inside; this solution should be reconsidered.
