22/07/2025: Bella location in un piacevole contesto paesistico. Abbiamo pranzato in una veramente molto luminosa e con un meraviglioso presepe. Anche la sala interna era bella ma forse bisognosa di essere spolverata con maggiore accuratezza. Il rapporto tra qualità e prezzo mi è sembrato non adeguato. I primi (costo medio 18 euro) mi sono sembrati cari, tanto più che i tanto decantati pici non erano fatti in casa. Né gli straccetti (18 euro) né le tagliate (17 euro) mi hanno convinto (carne dura e poco frollata). Discreta la fagiolina del Trasimeno (8 euro), discrete le verdure ripassate. Premesso che abbiamo aspettato un discreto tempo il conto, rilevo due aspetti negativi: il conto ci è stato fatto su uno scontrino non fiscale (ce ne siamo accorti una volta usciti) e il moscato che ci è stato offerto per accompagnare il dolce di compleanno è stato invece fatto pagare 22 euro, pur essendo acquistabile in qualsiasi supermercato ad un costo decisamente inferiore. Anche le 24 euro per una bottiglia di vino da loro prodotto mi sono sembrate eccessive. Quindi... bella la struttura, bella la sistemazione degli spazi esterni (campo da bocce, prati su cui correre, giochi) ma poco convincente la cucina e salato il conto in rapporto alla qualità proposta.

19/08/2025: A restaurant tucked away in a small alleyway. Although it's right in the historic center, you can eat in the shade, away from the tourist crowds, which is a real plus in this heat. The menu features local produce, simple and effective. The service is very pleasant.

16/07/2025: My husband and I decided to get married in this venue, which we found on matrimonio.com. We later discovered it was the same venue where a cousin of mine had gotten married. What can I say...I don't think there's a better place (at least in Umbria) to celebrate one of the most important days of your life. The staff was always available, not only for their specific needs but also for communicating and coordinating with other vendors. The venue was immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. The food: varied, tasty, varied, delicious, and plentiful. The pasta is rolled out by hand with a rolling pin. This aspect was one of the reasons I fell in love with this venue. It reminded me of my grandmother, from whom I inherited a rich love for manual labor; the kind that requires care, time, and patience; the kind that requires getting your hands dirty. This is the philosophy I found here. For this, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you, also on behalf of my husband, to Barbara and Beatrice. With their simplicity, honesty, kindness, and authenticity, they made our day so special and remembered with enormous appreciation by friends and family. Thank you so much ❤️

12/08/2025: We stayed just one night. The staff was helpful. They let us park our motorcycle under the window of the room. We had dinner at their restaurant, which I can't say enough: spectacular gnocchi and excellent grilled meat. Breakfast was super generous. I highly recommend it.

14/07/2025: We ordered a salad with grilled chicken, a fried dish, a cocktail, a beer, and a bottle of water. The chicken salad arrived 15-20 minutes later (cooking and preparation time), and we told the waitress that the drinks were still missing. We asked for at least water, and she brought it to us, saying that the beer and cocktail were being prepared for us. Okay, we waited; after all, we weren't in a hurry, but we were thirsty. After almost 30 minutes, we got up and went to the bar to see if there was any problem, and they told us they were preparing when in reality there was no one there to prepare the cocktails and beer. Another 10 minutes and the waitress finally arrived, without a "sorry for the wait," nothing. P.S. The place was empty, so it's okay if there were people, but the wait staff was simply talking, sometimes inside, sometimes outside at the entrance. I don't understand this behavior.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful even we do not have a reservation They are very patience and do not mind to explain us the dishes. The food itself tastes very good! We tried several different dishes, the wild boar with traditional sauce was good. Highly recommend!

22/08/2025: Very, very disappointing, IT'S NO LONGER THE ANGELINO AND PEPPA OF THE PAST, WHERE PEPPA COOKED THE RIBS ON THE GRILL AND MADE THE TORTA AL TESTO, THE VEGETABLES FROM THE GARDEN........TODAY EVERYTHING IS INDUSTRIALIZED, I EVEN FOUND THE TORTA AL TESTO IN THE SUPERMARKET.....THE VEGETABLES ARE FROZEN (AND YOU CAN TASTE IT) the prices are absolutely not appropriate!!!!!

03/08/2025: *Good food, service needs improvement* We visited this seafood restaurant, and as for the food, there was nothing to complain about: well-prepared, good-quality dishes. However, the service left much to be desired. A note on the menu warned of staff shortages, which limited the selection. It was understandable, and we accepted it without hesitation. But then we were served an appetizer to share... with only two of the four dishes, because "they had run out of plates." I had to use the serving platter, and the waitress commented: *"You did a great job, no problem."* In a restaurant that offers dinners starting at €50 a head, this is truly out of place. Finally, when it came to the bill, my wife asked to pay, but when I said I wanted to pay, the waiter literally snatched the bill from her hand and gave it to me. An impolite and unprofessional gesture. Finally, no bitter liqueur was offered at the end of the meal, which would have been at least a polite gesture to compensate for the experience. It's a shame, because the food is worth it, but the service ruins everything.

03/08/2025: *Cibo buono, servizio da rivedere* Siamo stati in questo ristorante di pesce e, sul piano della cucina, nulla da dire: piatti ben preparati e di buona qualità. Tuttavia, il servizio ha lasciato molto a desiderare. Un foglio nel menù avvisava della carenza di personale, motivo per cui la scelta era limitata: comprensibile, e lo abbiamo accettato senza problemi. Ma poi ci è stato servito un antipasto da condividere… con soli due piatti su quattro, perché "avevano finito i piatti". Ho dovuto usare il piatto di portata, e la cameriera ha commentato: *“Ha fatto benissimo, non ci sono problemi”*. In un locale che propone cene da 50€ a testa, è davvero fuori luogo. Infine, al momento del conto, mia moglie ha chiesto di pagare ma, quando ho detto che volevo farlo io, il cameriere le ha letteralmente strappato il conto di mano per darlo a me. Un gesto poco educato e per nulla professionale. Per concludere, nessun amaro offerto a fine pasto, che sarebbe stato almeno un gesto cortese per compensare l'esperienza. Peccato, perché la cucina merita, ma il servizio rovina tutto.
