13/10/2024: It's a shame it's temporarily closed. I'm currently on a bike tour from Cologne to Naples and really wanted to take a 50km detour to eat my first ice cream in Italy there. Then unfortunately I had to read yesterday that it was closed. Well, there's nothing you can do... but I'm still giving it 5 stars as a thank you for the many great hours of watching films while I had to wait for the Christ child or the Easter bunny. Greetings from my tour.

03/03/2025: I had the pleasure of having dinner at the country restaurant L'Ape Regina, immersed in the evocative scenery of Monteleone di Orvieto. The atmosphere, rustic and welcoming, immediately conveys a sense of peace and tranquility. The staff, attentive and smiling, make every guest feel at the center of attention. The cuisine offers traditional Umbrian recipes, revisited with creativity and passion, using fresh and genuine ingredients. I particularly appreciated the homemade first courses and the selection of local meats, cooked to perfection. The wine list features excellent regional labels, ideal for accompanying dishes. A place absolutely not to be missed!

27/02/2025: Intimate and characteristic restaurant, refined and familiar local menu, excellent for lunch and dinner as a couple or as a family. Reservation is often necessary.

27/10/2024: Sala bellissima e super accogliente, con caminetto. Proprietario gentilissimo, cibo ottimo, abbinamenti insoliti con prodotti locali, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

24/10/2024: Piccolo ristorante trovato x caso vicino al nuovo ponte tibetano. Una vera bomboniera. Piatti ottimi e accurati. Cucinati e serviti con amore. Abbiamo provato tante cose proprio x assaggiare . Che dire la chef Roberta cucina da dio. L,accoglienza è ottima. I prezzi giusti x il tipo di cucina. Ci torneremo con vero piacere

03/03/2025: Good lunch with typical dishes. Special mention for the truffle trio and the farmer's ricotta with honey and walnuts as dessert. The lentil soup with sausage is also excellent. The value for money is adequate

Alla ricerca di qualcosa da mangiare mi son son fermato qui attratto dall'offerta della pizza,menù fisso ma alla mia richiesta di voler solo una pizza con pochissimo pomodoro e solo parmigiano mi è stato risposto di no( la pizza in offerta era la margherita)dicendo che era un aggiunta e non si poteva fare,non capivo il perché ma ho declinato,alla fine mia moglie ha preso la pizza io ho scelto degli strangozzi tartufati. Bene i strangozzi erano buoni ma la pizza era surgelata si vedeva e si sentiva lontano un miglio ecco spiegato perché non si potevano fare variazioni,peccato

12/01/2025: Location molto carina, ottima la pulizia e servizio eccellente. Menù non molto ricco ma di qualità e carattere. Buona scelta di vini. Stringozzi cacio RE direi WOWWW gnocchi viola al tartufo eccellenti zuppa di lenticchie molto soddisfacente e crostata di fichi e noci veramente gradevole. Buono anche il caffè e vi assicuro che in un ristorante non è scontato. Bravi ed arrivederci alla prossima.

12/01/2025: Assolutamente consigliato! Piacevole scoperta casuale a Vallo di Nera durante una gita del fine settimana. Abbiamo mangiato divinamente e ci siamo promessi di ritornare!

04/03/2025: Dall'esterno si vende come un locale semplice e tradizionale. Appena varcato l'ingresso ci siamo accorti di essere in tutt'altro ambiente, più lussuoso e di livello rispetto a quello che cercavamo. Abbiamo comunque deciso di restare e provare questa esperienza, ovviamente con aspettative ben più elevate. Il servizio si è rivelato coerente con l'ambiente, ma la cucina è stata una vera delusione. Tiramisu a parte, che era ottimo, le tagliate che abbiamo ordinato al sangue non erano tali. Impiattamento assente e qualità della carne sotto ogni aspettativa. Purtroppo, però, il conto si è rivelato molto (anche troppo) in linea con l'immagine del locale. Non torneremo sicuramente.

27/03/2025: Di ritorno a Milano dalla Calabria decidiamo di fermarci per cenare e riposarci... Guardando su Google in maniera neppure troppo attenta mi imbatto in questo hotel ristorante che mi spinge a chiamare per prenotare un tavolo per due...ottima scelta! Che dire... solo tanti complimenti per l'accoglienza, la premura al tavolo nonostante la presenza in sala di moltissima gente ma soprattutto per la qualità del cibo che ci è stato servito.Tutto molto gustoso e curato anche nell'impiattamento... Ed ora che vi abbiamo scoperto faremo tappa più spesso nei ns viaggi da nord a sud e viceversa.a prestissimo😊Emanuela (quella delle melanzane)

10/02/2025: Trovato per caso osservando le recensioni su internet, confermo la bontà e la qualità dei prodotti. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di salumi formaggi e bruschette, ottimo! Mi ha colpito la freschezza dei prodotti, e la particolare crema di piselli sulla bruschetta: squisita. Poi siamo passati ad un antipasto misto di verdure, tutte completamente fatte in casa, delicate, con un sapore genuino, mi hanno letteralmente rapita e non è cosa solita trovare qualcuno che cucini bene le verdure al ristorante. A seguire due primi, gnocchi fatti in casa, un piatto con ragù di anatra, l’altro con crema di zucca, speck e zucchine: consistenza degli gnocchi perfetta ed il condimento incredibile. I sapori di una volta. Anche sui dolci recensione positiva, specialmente il croccante in vasetto con crema amarene e sbriciolata di nocciola e biscotto: sembrava di mangiare il croccante algida, il mio preferito! Quando saremo di passaggio nuovamente saprò dove fermarmi. Un plauso ai camerieri, gentilissimi, attenti e con il sorriso.

23/03/2025: We were at this restaurant on Father's Day. A day of celebration, he took us to visit Montefalco and so we discovered this restaurant. Everything was delicious. The appetizers were plentiful as were the main courses. Fast and precise service. Honest price. A beautiful fireplace inside the room and beautiful brick vaults. I highly recommend it.

19/03/2025: I ate a very good pizza, well cooked, crumbly, excellent base and fresh ingredients above all. It's been a long time since I ate such good pizza, very kind, very clean environment. I will definitely be back thanks again

15/01/2025: I give 4 stars to the food only because there is room for improvement despite the excellent level. I spent a splendid evening cheered up by the company of the environment given that you can enjoy a privileged point of view over the Pistoia plain. I'll be back

28/12/2024: Sono stato con la mia famiglia a provare il loro menù vegetariano. Abbiamo trascorso una splendida serata; piatti eccellenti e presentati con professionalità, accompagnati da una degustazione di vini fantastici! Torneremo sicuramente.

14/03/2025: My husband and I were traveling from Assisi to San Casciano dei Bangni and because we had time, we chose a spot along Lake Trasimeno for lunch. We had the best meal since we have been in Italy! Our server Mauro, assisted us with understanding the menu and our choices were nothing but perfection! We were served complimentary champagne, a lovely croissant with a fish crème before our enteree. We typically don’t order the three courses and Mauro suggested the (in my English) the fish soup (many types of fish!!!) and I had the plate with shrimps on a towering skewer, prawn, a fish filet, octopus and crab. Amazing presentation! We also had a berry desert…..yum! We were given a tour of the lower level tasting room/dining room. What a treat to see all of the wines and liquors. The owner and my husband traded cigars and it was a lunch we will never forget. The establishment is a wealth of thought out design! Our accolades to the chef!

04/04/2025: Rustic atmosphere but really excellent food and service. Both the fried lamb and the fried artichokes were delicious but the lasagna with asparagus and the "gourmet" version of the torte al testo were also at their best. Nice place among the trees but it is convenient to book.

02/04/2025: Prezzi molto onesti e servizio molto veloce. Personale cordiale e gentile. Si ordina e si paga all'ingresso poi ci si accomoda ai tavoli. Servizio molto spartano con piatti di carta e cibo nella media sicuramente la forza è iĺ prezzo e la rapidità di servizio (siamo andati di martedì sera quindi non affollato)
