27/10/2025: I celebrated my graduation party a few days ago, and it was an amazing experience! It felt like home, and the staff was amazing. They listened to my needs and what I had to say, attentive to my every request, and made the evening perfect and super fun! Gabriele and Jasmin are the best ❤️

07/04/2026: My family and I stayed at this hotel over the Easter long weekend, but unfortunately, the experience was decidedly negative. The rooms are very dated and in dire need of renovation. I would describe the cleanliness and food as average, with no particular positives. The only truly positive aspect was the bar service, where the staff was kind and professional. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the reception, where we encountered rude and unfriendly behavior. The most serious incident occurred on Easter Monday: we got stuck in the elevator (there were seven of us, respecting the designated capacity). Despite our attempts to call for help, no one intervened. Considering that I suffer from claustrophobia and have heart problems, it was a truly distressing experience. We were only able to get out thanks to the intervention of my husband and another guest, who forced the door. Even worse was the fact that, once we left, no staff took action to check on the situation or provide assistance. Add to this the practically nonexistent Wi-Fi connection and poor network coverage. In conclusion, a disappointing stay in many respects. I personally would not recommend this property, and my rating is decidedly low.

02/04/2026: A very convenient hotel located behind the Sanctuary. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean. The staff is welcoming and courteous, and the breakfast is excellent, with an excellent selection of sweet and savory options. Ample and convenient parking is available on-site, with easy access.

20/07/2025: A quaint place to eat fresh, high-quality local produce. The staff is extremely kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about explaining all the local products. The interior is well-maintained and stocked with a wide variety of food and drinks to purchase and take home, and the outdoor area is a small corner that creates a magical atmosphere in a remote part of Perugia.

14/04/2026: Stefano and Imma A wonderful place, immersed in the silence and peace of nature. We were truly impressed by Vallingegno Abbey: a charming, well-maintained place steeped in history, where you can feel a special atmosphere from the very first moment. Walking around the abbey was relaxing and beautiful, amidst the greenery, the tranquility, and that sense of serenity that is hard to find today. Ideal for those who want to get away from it all and spend a few hours in an authentic and charming place. An experience we will cherish and absolutely recommend to anyone passing through these parts. We will definitely return soon, because some places deserve to be experienced more than once.

28/03/2026: I visited Vallingegno last year for the May Day long weekend, finding this place purely by chance. The Abbey is a wonderful place, peaceful and surrounded by greenery. But the real added value is Guido, Stefano, and all the people who treat this place and their guests like family, promoting ethical tourism based on authenticity and passion for the area. Truly a place dear to our hearts.

03/01/2026: Rustic and traditional. The Christmas decorations leave a little to be desired, but they're not the focal point of the place. Quick service and friendly staff. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional dishes, with the option of a full "tourist menu." The grilled meats are of excellent quality, as are the ingredients used in all the dishes.

18/09/2025: Every time I return to Terni, leaving cold Germany behind for a while, there's a place that calls to me like home: Pizzeria La Genga. I left a piece of myself here, in Collescipoli. As a teenager, I worked among its tables, but it was the perfect refuge after the disco, when we'd gather to drink a glass of wine and devour a Sottobosco sandwich or those gnocchetti I still dream of. La Genga isn't just a pizzeria, it's a hug. It's Mauro and Cristina, the beating heart of this place, with their disarming kindness and a warm humanity. I once asked him, "Mauro, why don't you raise the prices?" And he replied, "And where do poor people go to eat out?" So, this is La Genga: a place that makes you feel not just a customer, but part of a family. No matter how far life takes me, I know that at La Genga I'll always find a table ready to welcome me, a dish that tastes like home, a delicate pizza with a light, easily digestible dough. If you're looking for a place with soul, this is your refuge.

05/09/2025: In the quaint village of Collescipoli, in a family-friendly atmosphere with friendly staff, you can enjoy not only the typical Collescipolana gnocchetti, but also a truly delicious, light, generously topped pizza, already cut into wedges. The prices are truly reasonable.

16/11/2025: Today, my family and I had lunch here for the first time. Service was quick, even when the restaurant was full. No tablecloths, just individual placemats with the menu printed on them. The quality of the dishes listed on the placemats and the price listed are good. The problem arises when you're offered (verbally) dishes off the menu. In fact, since we ordered a veal fillet with truffles and a plain one, you expect a good dish and a decent price. Instead, you get a decent amount of meat, but it's a small, thin slice, presumably weighing around 130-150 grams, with a price (as noted at checkout) of €22 for the plain fillet and €25 for the truffle one, which I think is expensive for the modest amount of meat. To the owner: please be kind enough to mention this on the written menu. Customers: Before ordering off-menu dishes, always ask for the price and, if necessary, the weight to avoid any surprises.

05/04/2026: Easter lunch for a whopping €50, featuring fish, which is clearly not their forte. Linguine were overcooked and tasteless, risotto that could have been pasted over with wallpaper, overcooked, drowned in lemon to cover the taste of fish that wasn't fresh. A second course consisted of three fried fish rings and a terrible-tasting piece of meagre, with a quarter of an artichoke on the side. They earned a few points for dessert, but only because we asked for tiramisu instead of strawberry cheesecake, where strawberries were impossible to find. This place should be forgotten. Never again.

21/03/2026: I went there tonight with my partner for fish. I'd always heard great things about this restaurant but had never had the chance to go. The place is cozy and the staff are friendly. Excellent value for money. The fish is AMAZING and the price is right. I'll definitely go again soon.

The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, with attention to detail without ever being stuffy. Perfect for lunch, an aperitif, or a dinner with friends.
