04/05/2025: Ci siamo fermati per un caffè e siamo stati trattati in maniera maleducata. Locale sporco e personale veramente sbrigativo e arrogante.

09/05/2025: Excellent light pizzas, possibility to choose the type of dough, wide offer. The beers are also excellent. Fast and courteous service. I returned to Volterra after a few years. Always excellent pizza, aromas and taste, as well as the beer.

17/04/2025: Service was friendly, portions are generous, went in for a pizza... very tasty ... less then 20 minutes later son vomitted his pizza and my wife and I had a case of bad diarhea from Kerala an hour later.. no further comments... when in Volterra i will simply avoid and cannot recommend..

01/05/2025: The place is located in a nice and atmospheric place, but the food is tasteless. I strongly advise against ordering Torre and Tagliare. Burnt lasagna, cold and bad pasta, old foccata, frostbitten burata, 4 slices of cold meat and one piece of cheese. I don't recommend it, the wine is ok, but nothing else :( when we asked the staff about the food, the staff started to avoid us. I don't recommend ordering food here :( after asking the staff again, the waiter came to us and said that he had asked the boss and then told us that he had to call the boss and we were forced to pay 100% of the price even though we hadn't touched the food

21/04/2025: Passo spesso da queste parti in viaggio per lavoro, ho scoperto questo ristorante grazie a una persona del luogo, e da allora cerco sempre di fermarmi per la cena in questo ristorante quando passo in zona. Ho assaggiato un po’ tutti i piatti del menu dalla carne ai primi passando per i salumi e per i dolci. Direi che il mio piatto preferito restano i ravioli di “mucco pisano” (prezzo 12€) è un bel piatto di ravioli ripieni di carne locale conditi con un abbondante ragù sempre fatto con carne locale. Molto buoni sono anche le carni e i salumi. Per un antipasto carne dolce a cena, sei intorno ai 50 €. Però ci sono altri piatti, come ad esempio i primi, che sono più economici. Questo locale fa anche la pizzeria, anche quella è molto buona. Ogni volta che sono passato in questo locale in qualunque giorno della settimana, l’ho sempre trovato strapieno sia in estate che in inverno, sinonimo del fatto che la qualità della loro cucina è apprezzata anche da gente del posto. I dolci, prezzo medio 6€, sono un po’ piccini, per rispetto allo standard. Se si cerca un ristorante con carni di qualità, questo è il posto giusto.

21/02/2025: Cambio la precedente recensione per sottolineare quanto una gestione oculata faccia la fortuna di certe attività (insieme alla qualità del cibo e del bere). In una precedente occasione c'era stata un'incomprensione - causata anche da mia inesperienza - che aveva portato ad una brutta esperienza, ma il titolare e il direttore hanno fatto sì che l'impressione tornasse quella di prima, ovvero di un luogo di eccellenza.

02/05/2025: Very nice place, unfortunately something must have changed... a disastrous lunch 2 salads that cost more than the latter... but above all poorly made and truly miserable. I understand being in tourist Lugo but a salad with a few olives, 4 slices of orange and raw chopped white onions cannot cost 18 euros. Honestly, I won't set foot there again

26/03/2025: Location super sul mare, materie prime di qualità e prezzi giusti. Abbiamo preso un primo e un secondo di mare entrambi ottimi.

07/06/2025: Verhuurder had ons geadviseerd hier te gaan lunchen. Beslist geen spijt van gehad. Wat een heerlijk uitzicht op te toren. Personeel was behulpzaam en vriendelijk. We genoten van een zalmsalade en een pizza. Niets op aan te merken. Erg lekker. Prijzen ook normaal. Mooie foto’s kunnen maken.

28/05/2025: Was für eine Wahnsinnslage!!! Direkt neben dem schiefen Turm mit freiem Blick. Apple crumble und Eiskaffee waren super und auch das Kaffee selber ist sehr schön dekoriert bzw. im Stilecht gehalten. Man muss ins Gebäude des Opernmuseum hinein gehen, hat aber vorher den Abzweig zur Cafeteria und zum Restaurant. Preise sind schon etwas teurer aber meiner Meinung nach dich irgendwie in Ordnung. Latte 6 Euro, Dessert 8 Euro ... Ist's aber wirklich der Lage wegen wert.

24/02/2025: Super place, it has the charm of the theatre/cinema of another era. The staff is extremely helpful, the cocktails are excellent. I celebrated my birthday here and my friends were speechless. The staff assisted in organizing the tables and setting up. Very very positive experience.

02/02/2025: Terrible “location” 🥹 doors with broken handles, cobwebs, everything broken… a €7 cocktail is fine but if I order a gin and tonic don't make me a lemon juice! Never again I'm sorry, you should fix the place first.

20/01/2025: Happened here by chance, large bar lunch area run by very friendly and welcoming Chinese, we ate two dishes of Amatriciana pasta, very good and plentiful. Clean place, large car park and accessible for disabled people.

05/05/2025: We stayed last weekend and had a good time. Friendly staff, the suite beautiful and clean, even the dinners at the restaurant satisfied us. My husband had a massage with the very good Gennaro. We will be back!

27/04/2025: We booked with friends at this property just because they wanted to use the in-room pools, the spa and the outdoor pool. They warned us only two days before that our rooms would be replaced with a different solution due to a water fault. We found ourselves in an empty hotel with the impossibility of using the swimming pools. In my opinion there was no fault but a tactic to not fill and heat the swimming pools (which in fact were empty). Really shoddy and poorly maintained. Not recommended.

15/10/2024: I recently visited Pizzeria ll Fornaccio; overall, it was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was good, making it a nice spot to unwind with friends. As for the food, the pizza was average at best. While it had a decent crust and fresh toppings, it didn't stand out compared to some local competitors. However, what truly impressed me was the service. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure our needs were met without being intrusive. In summary, Pizzeria ll Fornaccio offers a great setting and good service, but if you're looking for an exceptional pizza, you might want to explore other options. Still, it’s worth a visit for the overall experience!

21/09/2024: We ordered takeaway pizza after reading the positive reviews. Unfortunately I have to say that frozen supermarket pizza is a thousand times better. I'm giving one star because I can't give 0.

20/02/2025: This Place is closed. We stop by here on 20feb2025. Website says that they are Open until 1500. when we got to the Place its closed and it Looks Like it has been closed for a while.
