28/06/2026: Six of us went for dinner, and it was truly a huge disappointment. We waited about an hour and a half from ordering to the arrival of our dishes. The curly-haired waitress, very kind and professional, no longer knew how to handle the situation: it was clear that the problem wasn't her fault, but the kitchen's. They probably accepted more reservations than they could handle. Since I work in the restaurant industry myself, I recommend avoiding overbooking, so as not to create long and difficult-to-manage waits. The rest of the staff appeared poorly trained and disorganized, clearly lacking in basic skills. Furthermore, the uniforms were all very dirty and poorly maintained; the first person to have a uniform in poor condition was the owner. She didn't apologize, didn't say goodbye to us as we left, and did nothing to resolve the situation. I'd also add that one of the waitresses was unpleasant at the table, repeatedly addressing us while clearly chewing gum, so much so that we lost our appetite. Although, despite the long wait, both the pizza and the dishes were, to be honest, good until the end, and we ate everything. I'll reiterate, however, that the curly-haired waitress who served us was truly the only positive note: she apologized repeatedly and tried to make up for it as best she could, demonstrating great professionalism, certainly superior to that of the owner.

25/06/2026: One of the best views over the Tuscany hills you will ever experience in your life. Catching the sunrise was a highlight, and just staring up at the starry sky, pitch black, flickering stars of galaxies. Pure bliss! Yes, you can clearly hear the insects and cricket noises constantly, but apply some bug spray and you'll be fine. Drive slow on approach to this villa, as the terrain is quite dusty and a little steep. Plenty of space to park your car, and transfer luggage to the villa's accommodation spaces. Some rooms may require a lift of the door handle to lock properly - ask with the hosts to confirm. Room 8 (that I stayed in) had the following: Sofa, TV, Table, Chairs, Fridge & Freezer combo (turn dial inside to switch on), dishwasher, usual utensils (pots, pans, bottle opener, ladle, etc), kettle, oven stove, wash basin, sink, plenty of IKEA cupboards. Bathroom: Shower, sink, storage space, toilet, bidét, bath towels. Bedroom: Giant wardrobe with extra bedding inside if needed, Double bed, Single Bed, Window shutters - mesh net over window to stop insects entering the room. Overall, Very happy to have stayed here for a nearby wedding at Villa Ulignano. Huge thanks to the hosts for being so kind :)

11/01/2026: Friendly, yes, but as far as I'm concerned, they weren't fast at all. We arrived at 1:50 PM and the first course didn't arrive until 2:40 PM. I can't even rate the second course, because as I write this, it hasn't arrived yet. I definitely won't be returning. I'm only giving the service five stars because, in the end, you have to do everything yourself.

11/01/2026: We ordered at around 1:50 PM. Everyone's dishes arrived at 3:00 PM. Each dish was missing from the order. 1 French fry was finished (but was there when we ordered) 1 fried pasta dish (we had ordered two, one was completely missing, and the remaining portion was served without the clam sauce) You have to set the table yourself, and well...they don't know how to do their job. The food, all in all, is normal...it's not as bad as the rest. On a positive note? The wine is good.

26/05/2026: The food was excellent, and the service was simply outstanding. They really go out of their way to understand and serve their guests well. We'll definitely be back. We went there again... a pure culinary delight. The appetizer platter and then the filet steak with pistachios and porcini mushrooms... highly recommended.

10/12/2025: Excellent coffee bar with a large newsstand attached: the newsstand and bookstore area is truly charming and unusual. The coffee and cappuccino are excellent. Outdoor space with dedicated seating.

11/08/2026: Ordered on Deliveroo. Interesting dishes, not your typical Italianized Chinese. Special mention for the Wenzhou noodles, excellent.

03/06/2026: We took the meat tasting menu... We're not there, a very nice location for events but the food, although of good quality, was passable cold cuts and cheese, the first course was reheated and the meat was served cold. Perhaps the à la carte menu could have been better...

27/07/2026: On the way home from the motorway, we stopped briefly to fortify ourselves for the long drive. We got a table right away, only inside, but we were still happy. The large doors open onto the garden. The atmosphere is very pleasant. It feels like a restaurant for locals, not tourists. The prices are great compared to Austria. Pizzas are between 5 and 8 euros. My grilled fish cost 14 euros. My daughter ordered gnocchi with a nut sauce. They were so incredibly good that we ordered another portion for everyone to snack on. I highly recommend this restaurant.

19/07/2026: A small, cute and great restaurant. Alot of locals and because of the size it's recommend to make a reservation for the lunch. We had lunch here so I don't know how busy it is in the evening. The food tasted great with fresh ingredients and good seasoning. Price wise it was not expensive and the proportion were more then enough. Also for the kids they had pasta with tomato sauce. All and all a great place to eat with friendly staff. I had the pasta with pear and gorgonzola it was really good!

02/01/2026: On December 31st we visited this very special pizzeria. What can I say? They delighted us with unique delicacies all from Campania. The pizza was truly amazing, soft and melt-in-your-mouth like nothing we'd ever tasted before. Our heartfelt compliments to the owners, who told us they'll soon be making improvements to the entire outdoor seating area. Congratulations indeed!

01/01/2026: The reviews don't lie, it's absolutely the best Neapolitan pizza in the area. They're truly unbeatable. The dough has a unique flavor and all the ingredients are excellent. I highly recommend it. They're about to install a new outdoor terrace. They told me, and to say, they're the best!

17/07/2026: We had just arrived and hadn’t even properly said what we wanted when your “kind lady” immediately ushered us out, saying that you’re a restaurant and don’t serve drinks on their own. Meanwhile, the place was completely empty, not a single customer inside. If this is what Italian hospitality and warm customer service look like, then thank you for the experience. Edit after the owner’s reply: The issue was never your policy about not serving drinks without food. That is your choice and I fully respect it. The problem was the way we were greeted. We had just arrived and were immediately told that this is a restaurant, not a bar, before we even had a chance to ask for a table or look at the menu. Had we been politely informed that drinks are only served together with a meal, we would very likely have stayed for lunch. Unfortunately, the conversation ended before we even had that opportunity. Also, when we were there, the restaurant appeared completely empty

16/06/2026: The best food i had while in italy. Fresh tasty and with intresting flavors. The staff was also really nice.

04/06/2026: We stopped here for lunch and we're so glad we did. We shared a few plates including the antipasti and tartar (delicious!). The menus were in italian only - always a good sign! My 3-year-old loved the pasta pomodoro, and my mother loved the fact that it was full of locals as she much prefers this to eating in tourist-y places. The people working there were friendly and kind. Highly recommended!

01/06/2026: The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive to food intolerances (celiac disease). The food is delicious, plentiful, and seasonal. If I could, I'd give it 6 stars. Thank you so much, and keep up the good work.

25/11/2025: A family-run, very well-maintained restaurant. The food is spectacular; I've celebrated two graduations here, and both times my expectations were fully met. We had mixed antipasti, with Tuscan crostini, cold cuts and cheeses, mini sandwiches, and two first courses (a farfalle pasta with speck and walnuts, and a pumpkin risotto). They also prepared some small pastries for us!

19/11/2025: A unique venue, pampered by the owners' attentive service, offering innovative local dishes, tasty and freshly prepared, and excellent value. This venue is suitable for couples' lunches, but not for groups, as, in my opinion, the atmosphere is particularly suited to quiet conversations and a fairly intimate atmosphere.

14/08/2026: Fast service and super staff in every way. I recommend the pici cacio e pepe, which I ordered as an off-menu dish—delicious.

13/08/2026: A great little restaurant tucked away on the other side of the Tower. Most tourists dont walk over this side which means its quieter and you can eat with inhibited views of the tower. Food was lovely and service was friendly, we visited more than once.
