14/07/2024: During our recent visit to the Corte Tommasi restaurant, we had an exceptional culinary experience that deserves to be told in great detail. Located in an elegant location among the Tuscan hills, Corte Tommasi has managed to perfectly combine the Tuscan culinary tradition with a refined and welcoming environment. The evening began with a Tuscan platter that immediately won us over with a selection of local cured meats and cheeses, enriched with typical croutons. The authentic and intense flavors prepared us well for the following courses, creating a culinary anticipation that did not disappoint. The dish of ravioli stuffed with scallop in squid ink and seafood was a real explosion of flavour. The homemade pasta, with a delicate flavour, went perfectly with the freshness of the seafood, creating a perfect balance between flavor and marine sweetness. Every bite was a discovery, enriched by the complexity of the flavors of the cuttlefish ink and scallop To follow, the sliced ​​porcini mushrooms with truffle was a true triumph of taste. The meat, tender and juicy, was perfectly cooked to perfection and the porcini mushrooms, combined with the unmistakable aroma of the truffle, further enhanced the dish. Every bite was a pleasure for the palate, an experience that delighted the senses and made us appreciate even more the quality of the raw materials used. We finished with their delicious tiramisu which closed the journey of flavours, leaving our taste buds in celebration. To accompany our meal, we chose two glasses of DOC prosecco. The freshness and lightness of the bubbles completed our culinary journey perfectly, adding a note of elegance and refinement to the evening. Particular praise goes to the service, impeccable from start to finish. The staff at Corte Tommasi were extremely professional, but at the same time warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. Our every request was satisfied with a smile and a rare courtesy to find. Finally, the location: a true corner of paradise. The elegant and relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant, immersed in the splendid Tuscan countryside, made our dinner even more special. The attention to detail, both in furnishings and lighting, contributed to creating a perfect environment for an unforgettable evening. In conclusion, Corte Tommasi is a restaurant that we warmly recommend to anyone who wishes to enjoy a unique gastronomic experience, wrapped in a warm and relaxing atmosphere and pampered by impeccable service. Research and uniqueness can also be seen in the furnishings. An excellent lunch with real flavors. Don't miss the pick me up (I couldn't take a photo because it was so inviting)

27/07/2024: La.pizza è veramente buona, si può scegliere tra tantissime.ptoposte. sfiziosissime quelle con i cornicioni ripieni. Ma il voto alto è aolo.per.le.pizze. infatti siamo stati molto meno soddisfatti del.servizio eccessivamente lento. Abbiamo aspettato 1.30h per avere le pizze ed al tavolo avevamo bambini piccoli. Ovviamente ci può stare un qualsiasi imprevisto, ma quantomeno proponi di portare qualcosa nell' attesa, mostrando attenzione e premura per il cliente. Fare ristorazione è molto impegnativo ma a mio avviso sono le piccole cose (che piccole non sono) a fare la differenza.

24/07/2024: Pizza mediocre, con impasto non del tipo napoletano come viene dichiarato (la gente che dice che è come la vera napoletana sono quelli abituati alle pizze- solette toscane). Ho trovato il sugo acido (magari ci sta che non sia venuto perfetto una sera), ma quel che mi ha stupito sono i prezzi. Dai dieci euro in su per una pizza standard, con prezzi che arrivano anche ai 18 se vuoi provare qualcosa di diverso. A questi prezzi ci mangiate pizze gourmet in veri ristoranti, mi stupisco di come riescano a tenere botta. Evidentemente i cascinesi sono abituati così: buon per loro.

06/08/2024: Restaurant at the top of Monte Serra, very large and with many tables. There are internal and external rooms for eating outside too... There are many waiters, unfortunately we felt abandoned and forgotten... We had to remember that we had been there for 1 hour and no one had come... Then even later during the meal... However everyone is very kind. A tip: At the entrance there is a blackboard on the floor with some dishes written on it but then at the table there is a menu with other dishes written on it; I recommend making a sheet integrated into the menu with those dishes written on the blackboard because not everyone reads the writing while others think that they will then find them written on the menu... I got up and took a photo to show it to the others at the table too ... (when the waitress arrived she didn't even say that there were other dishes...). However, the food is good, typical Tuscan, the dishes are plentiful. The fried polenta crostini with truffle lardo were good but cold... shame! The meat on lava stone was very good! I would say good quality/price ratio.
