12/04/2026: I can't give a review because the restaurant recently changed management, and I was only there for the opening. Let's hope the change is positive, because under the previous management, I would have given it one star for the quality of the food and service.

21/04/2026: It appears to be a five-star establishment, both for the ambiance and the truly well-stocked wine cellar. Sit down and experience this place in more detail, and you'll appreciate a very extensive but somewhat overpriced wine list, a limited and not particularly high-quality culinary offering, and above all, a somewhat confusing communication style. I'd read about set menus on the website, but once we arrived at the restaurant, they turned out to be reserved only for large groups. It's a shame, there's great potential that hasn't been fully exploited.

16/03/2026: The cheesecake was truly awful: a hard, flavorless base, a kilometer high, with a ton of berries on top and a millimeter of cream from the bags in the middle. Five euros thrown in the bin.

We went there again... a pure culinary delight. The appetizer platter and then the filet steak with pistachios and porcini mushrooms... highly recommended.

11/04/2026: We had dinner this evening for two. The service was good, but the price was definitely exorbitant. One pizza in particular cost €19 (it had broccoli rabe cream, stracciatella, sausage, and a tarallo). The pizza wasn't bad, but it was extremely overpriced. The price wasn't listed on the menu. It's absurd; we won't be back.

26/04/2026: There were 23 of us and they welcomed us with open arms! Delicious food, fast and impeccable service, excellent value. What more can I say? Try it and believe it!

21/04/2026: I recommend it to everyone for the kindness of the staff, the customer service, the quality of the products, and the wonderful location. The only downside, for me, is that you have to pay for parking, because parking on the street is a risk after a wonderful day at the beach and a spectacular meal. But I recommend it 100%! The dishes we tried were wonderful: the tagliatelle with Chianina ragù were magnificent, the fried fish with fried artichokes was brutal, the wine was wonderful, spectacular, and the bill was reasonable for the place. Just a thought: you might even meet Cristian de Sica sometime. But that doesn't change what I said before. You have to try it.

26/05/2026: A pizza place that offers both pizza with gluten or gluten free. Not only that, but one can find also gluten-free focaccia and also gluten-free beer. We ordered gluten and gluten-free pizzas. They were sublime. I strongly recommend for gluten-free options.

14/05/2026: Perfect location in the heart of San Miniato with stunning views, authentic Tuscan charm kind staff and an excellent breakfast. The receptionist kindly gave us tips on where to go for dinner and which bottega opened early in the morning. Our room had a large window overlookimg the tower and countryside. Breakfast was very good with a variety of savoury including eggs and sweet. The bed was large and comfortable, but the pillows were too thin.

04/03/2026: Rooms have a medioeval aroma, that could be renovated with a more contemporary flavour, especially in the bathroom. Overall a nice and refreshing stay
