01/10/2025: The veranda awnings don't work, so we basically had lunch under the setting sun.

12/09/2025: Off-season and during the week, it's a very pleasant and lively beach. We had a great time and even had lunch at the restaurant, where we had excellent spaghetti with clams, a very good grilled fish, and a mixed seafood appetizer. It's highly recommended, but again, I'm not talking about an experience in July or August.

12/10/2025: Excellent food and friendly staff. The crepes are truly delicious.

28/09/2025: We paid 40 Euros for two really small portions of the worst lasagna I’ve ever eaten (probably a frozen one?), one small beer and one Aperol Spritz. We stopped here because it was one of the only open places and we were really hungry after a long hike, we didn’t expect anything fancy at all, just good local cuisine, but it really wasn’t worth it at all.

01/08/2025: A great restaurant, we had different pasta’s and meat with the house wine. I would recommend to go here for a calm and nice dinner with a great view and also great service!

03/10/2025: Very Disappointing Experience rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was too frustrating to ignore. The service was incredibly slow — despite the restaurant not being very busy. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. To make matters worse, the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. They serve us with the wrong plate. For the price they charge, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

01/07/2025: L'esperienza alla Ripadoro è da dimenticare. Posto pretenzioso con prezzi da ristorante stellato, ma le stelle le abbiamo viste solo con il conto. I piatti erano poveri nelle porzioni e pure nel sapore. Due i sapori predominanti: il nulla cosmico e il retrogusto amaro di bruciato. Il servizio è stato inadeguato e quasi inesistente per non parlare della maleducazione del titolare: altezzoso, e pretenzioso ma privo di sostanza proprio come i piatti che propone.

29/08/2025: Restaurant review: We dined at this restaurant as a couple with our large dog under the beautiful gazebo. Upon our arrival, a comfortable table was set up for us, slightly off to the side, with all the space we needed. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was friendly, fast, and attentive. The food tasted truly excellent; all the dishes left us more than satisfied, exceeding our expectations. The value for money was unmatched. Highly recommended.

10/08/2025: Extremely spacious apartments, equipped with every comfort. Freedom to use all the outdoor spaces, friendly and discreet owners. The prices are very fair (which is appreciated these days). I should also add that it is in a convenient location, in the middle of the countryside, so the climate is breezy. I had a great time and felt right at home. Highly recommend it.

05/10/2025: Quick lunch break from work.......but an excellent platter of cured meats and cheeses and a delicate and tasty first course (burrata parcels with porcini mushrooms and truffle) all accompanied by a good glass of red wine, recommended by the staff......thanks

16/09/2025: We'd been there a few times, and once we'd met a pleasant young man who knew his wine and was incredibly nice. But the last time, we encountered an older employee whose whole demeanor made it clear we weren't welcome. We had to leave without an aperitif or a bottle of wine to take home.

31/10/2025: Let me start by saying that I don't like giving bad reviews, and I don't mean it to be mean, but I'm just expressing my personal experience. My boyfriend and I aren't local; we were passing through, and seeing all the good reviews, we decided to try it. I had the Wednesday menu (ham with fritters, a choice of pizza, and a small drink). I can't complain about the ham, and the fugassin (as we call them) were very good. The pizza, to be honest, lacked a balanced mix of ingredients; there were more mushrooms than ham, and it overpowered the overall flavor. The dough, however, was very light and well-made. Unfortunately, things didn't go very well for my boyfriend. He had asked for a pumpkin and sausage risotto, but instead they brought him a marinara with shrimp, cheese, and lots of pepper (I should point out that he didn't let them know about the mistake because he doesn't like to be a nuisance, even though he should have). However, he likes shrimp, so he accepted the dish, but he couldn't eat it (I tried it too). There was an excessive amount of pepper, and to be honest, it tasted like those half-baked packets of rice from the store. I say this because my parents always bought them, unfortunately for me. Let's just say he ate as much as he could. We finally chose two desserts, a tiramisu and a chocolate cheesecake. The tiramisu wasn't bad, but the cheesecake... aside from the good base, the cheese part had a rather sweet taste, plus there was no chocolate on top. There was a chocolate topping that was also so sweet it was inedible. If it had had regular melted chocolate, it would have been more balanced. What can I say, I was very disappointed, maybe with other dishes it would have been better, maybe as a tip, even if the place is full, take 30 seconds to repeat the dishes chosen to the customer so as not to make mistakes, for the rest the location was nice

29/10/2025: The pizza is exceptional, with a soft and extremely pleasant crust. My daughter had the seafood spaghetti 🍝 and it was no joke either. Succulent. We're just passing through, but I definitely recommend it. Well done!

26/10/2025: A pit stop on our way back north in this super cute village. The lady at the B&B recommended this restaurant, which was about a 10-minute walk from the village center. The atmosphere is very retro, yet very welcoming. The service was quick and the staff were kind and courteous. The food was delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: An evening with a table of about fifteen people. The atmosphere was informal, almost light-hearted, I'd venture. Good food and good wine. The menu was a bit limited. Typical cuisine.

18/08/2025: When you enter a restaurant and see a few tables, 9 and a half times out of 10 you have made the right choice. Trained and very kind staff, possibility of taking dishes and tasting menus also in vegetarian versions. Really good and well presented dishes! Wide choice of typical and non-typical wines. Highly recommended if you visit Pisa!
