05/05/2025: All in all, this property and the people who run it deserve well beyond 5 stars. Starting from the beauty of the estate, its rooms and all the animals that are there (really sweet) will give you the impression of being in a heavenly place, isolated from the outside and in absolute peace. The cuisine is authentic, we fell in love with those delicious dishes not to mention the breakfast, it was like "feeling at home". Finally, the sublime note that closes the experience concerns the people who manage the structure. We are happy to have met them, we understood all their commitment and passion for what they created and their kindness and helpfulness goes beyond what we could think of. They helped us to the best of their ability for a personal problem we had externally, showing how human and altruistic they can be. We will be grateful to him for life and hope to be able to return soon.

06/05/2025: My partner and I wanted to try this restaurant with a complete fish-only menu: we booked even though early May is still low season and in fact we caught the evening where we were alone... Nonetheless, the service was excellent, there was no desire to send us away to close quickly, in fact the waiter explained to us in detail all the details of the menu and what extras the kitchen allowed, furthermore we were offered a glass of rosé prosecco and a very refined entrée. The two first courses were excellent and the fried prawns, squid and calamari were amazing, dry, crunchy and plentiful (luckily we had two of them), and the dessert was also different from the usual ones. All of this, including a bottle of Vermentino Toscano, at 55 each, not even exaggerated considering the refined environment, refined cuisine and seafront location.... We'll be back!

30/05/2025: Highly recommended, a cute little pizzeria with very reasonable prices! Delicious and friendly, fast service! Oh yes: the restroom will delight any cyclist... ;-) Conclusion: We really enjoyed it and will probably use it again for our final dinner on a future visit to Volterra!

05/05/2025: Ambiente raccolto e affascinante con numerosi ed eleganti richiami al Castello. Servizio professionale, attento ai minimi particolari, serio ma cordiale. Antipasto di mare stuzzicante, fresco e vivo grazie anche ad una cipollina bianca amorevolmente gestita. Spaghetto Martelli alle vongole fatto con grande sapienza e servito bollente appena saltato. Coniglio fritto speciale. Un’impanatura croccante, la qualità della carne e la salvietta confezionata che ti dice: “mangiami con le mani”, hanno contribuito ad un’alta esperienza culinaria.

12/04/2025: Yours is one of those places where we will return periodically for the high quality of the food, for the welcome and for the very charming place. Platter of cured meats, macaroni with octopus ragù and truly delicious tiramisu, for one evening they didn't make us think about the fact that in our new home we are waiting for the delivery of the table, chairs and fridge.... Congratulations guys, yours is a place that makes the village of Lari and the whole surrounding area even more beautiful. Places where we chose to live

02/11/2024: We were guests in September 2024 with a large group, very hospitable and friendly staff, everything was arranged and organized. For us a big 10 for hospitality.

02/06/2025: The ambiance is nice. But that's all. Swimming is prohibited.

02/06/2025: It is a very nice restaurant/pizzeria, on the lake shore; you can eat both pizza and meat and also fish. The first courses we had were very good, the fried food with the chips were dry and crunchy; those who had the meat (the tagliata) said it was soft. The only flaw is the service because a few more waiters doesn't hurt; we waited to place the order but the dishes, then, arrived quickly. The prices in my opinion are fair. Recommended!!!

19/04/2025: We were lucky enough to find this amazing restaurant in San Minato. Very nice, tasty dishes and generous portions, super friendly staff. To return!

28/05/2025: The seafood pizza simply tastes like tomato sauce with spices. The mussels were whole, half of them still closed, so they were inedible. The Italian guests at the next table were given a special plate for the shells. I had to throw them in the bread basket. Pizza Speciale with potatoes, a bit of minced meat, and tomatoes. Potatoes on a pizza???? Any Italian would turn in their grave. Absolutely the worst pizza in Bella Italia

17/04/2025: A long time customer, but I found a change in the menu... very very good and more refined in presentation. More like a restaurant than a tavern. Prices remained unchanged. I highly recommend you try it

18/05/2025: It's a steep climb to this piazza, but a welcome find when you get there. We shared the chicken liver starter, tasty pureed with sweet onion. We followed with the asparagus and egg pasta which was tasty. We were a bit distracted by the horse riders outside, that's the way to explore these hills!!
