22/05/2026: I had lunch there today before going to work. I came in at 12 and was finished by 12:30. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, and the prices were super fair. I recommend it to everyone, both workers and families. From Monday to Saturday, you can eat at a reasonable price, with authentic, locally sourced food. My compliments to the restaurant and all the staff. I'll be back soon!

11/05/2026: Excellent entertainment with karaoke and dancing. A lovely lakeside setting. Unfortunately, the food and service were rather disappointing. We went on Saturday, May 9th, at 8:30 PM and all six of us chose the full house menu, with a 1 kg steak for two people. After a two-hour wait, at 10:20 PM to be precise, the first steak for two arrived; the other four people waited until 11:00 PM, when, instead of two steaks on the traditional stone, they were brought a single wooden platter with pieces of meat and a single bone (?), the meat inside completely raw and "strangely very cold." The side of fries arrived even later, after they had "finished the steak" and after we had repeatedly asked... The evening was saved only by the excellent entertainer and his music 🙂

10/05/2026: Top-quality meat and incredible cured meats at an unbeatable price. The atmosphere is simple and homey, and the service is very friendly—exactly what we were looking for!

07/05/2026: Every dinner at Luca's is a fantastic experience. The cured meats, crafted according to Montopoli's pork butchering tradition, are a culinary journey in themselves. And the steak never disappoints: quality meat, always perfectly cooked, allowing you to savor the passion and dedication to their work!

21/03/2026: A sure thing... Authentic pizza in Pontedera... top-quality ingredients, easy-to-digest pizza, since I never got up all night drinking. Whenever I want good pizza, I'm here.

25/01/2026: Excellent pizzeria, small but well-run. Excellent ingredients and pizzas are made with thin, but not toasty, crust. Service is in line with the price.

17/07/2026: The place isn't very clean; they don't change the tablecloths, just the paper tablecloths. The owner and the waiters serve tables dripping with sweat, wearing sweat-soaked shirts and the owner's shirt. The pizza looks like a burnt cardboard disc, even with a little topping, and isn't leavened. We ordered a lemon sorbet, which arrived melted and hot, and a vin santo that had nothing holy about it, nor even wine! Never again!!!

12/07/2026: A must every year on our holiday. Spontaneous, without a reservation, and once again absolutely delicious!

21/04/2026: First supplied in Grande Panda. You always expect quality fuel at a good price. It's cousin to the Great Panda. This always looks like quality fuel at a good price.

16/07/2026: Simply the best you can find in Pisa and beyond. Excellent wine list, with excellent options by the glass (but there's something for everyone, cocktails and beers are no exception!). Special mention for the glass of Pinot Noir (red). And that's just the beginning. All the dishes are truly delicious, but what keeps me coming back are the crostoni. Delicious bread, perfectly toasted. Fresh ingredients for seasonal pairings. Special mention for the Crostoni with Taleggio and Mushrooms (its beauty lies in its simplicity). Last but not least, what truly takes Dolce Vite to another level is the staff. Whether you're passing through the center of Pisa or a local, you'll find special people always ready to welcome you, with that genuine smile of someone happy to work there, and with that infectious friendliness that will surely make you feel at home.

08/07/2026: It's always a pleasure to dine there! The fish is a fixed menu and changes daily, but it's always fresh and well-cooked. It's served at the table in generously sized platters. The staff is young and friendly, but they tend to get a little lost if you ask for something beyond what's already agreed upon, especially if the place is busy. The price is more than proportionate to the amount and quality of food. I'll definitely be back again!

14/05/2026: Perfect location in the heart of San Miniato with stunning views, authentic Tuscan charm kind staff and an excellent breakfast. The receptionist kindly gave us tips on where to go for dinner and which bottega opened early in the morning. Our room had a large window overlookimg the tower and countryside. Breakfast was very good with a variety of savoury including eggs and sweet. The bed was large and comfortable, but the pillows were too thin.

04/03/2026: Rooms have a medioeval aroma, that could be renovated with a more contemporary flavour, especially in the bathroom. Overall a nice and refreshing stay

15/07/2026: Wonderful atmosphere. The cultural events they organize throughout the month are always a source of conviviality. Plus, the bartender makes the best Long Island I've ever had. Balanced and delicious.

28/05/2026: In the center of Pontedera, a nice, refined atmosphere, good food, and good but not exceptional cocktails. Overall, it's worth a visit. I'll be back.

14/07/2026: Trattoria da Michele was a wonderful discovery during my visit to Pisa. Arriving late from out of town, we were relieved to find this welcoming spot open for lunch near the Pisa Centrale station. The service was excellent, and the lasagna was absolutely delicious. Its location is incredibly convenient for travelers, just a short walk from the train station and equally close to the Leaning Tower. While I may not be returning to Pisa anytime soon, I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area!

20/06/2026: Excellent Pisan pizza and an exceptional Cecina, divine focaccia, and finally homemade desserts that are better than those from the bakery. Helpful, smiling, and knowledgeable staff. I go there every chance I get.

06/06/2026: I grabbed quarters of pizza and focaccia with onion cecina to take home on the fly because I was out for a bike ride and it was late. Truly delicious. I recommend it to everyone.

13/08/2026: I went to dinner for a birthday. There were 12 of us. There was a sort of "pizza round" with a Tuscan appetizer. The appetizer was paltry and of poor quality. Afterwards, we waited over an hour for 10 pizzas, all of which they had chosen at home. Then, we asked if they could make us more, and they told us it was late and the dough was out. Both unacceptable given the wait time and the "pizza round" option. Cost: €32 per person for less than a pizza, less than an appetizer, a beer, and a 3-hour wait. Unacceptable.

11/04/2026: We had dinner this evening for two. The service was good, but the price was definitely exorbitant. One pizza in particular cost €19 (it had broccoli rabe cream, stracciatella, sausage, and a tarallo). The pizza wasn't bad, but it was extremely overpriced. The price wasn't listed on the menu. It's absurd; we won't be back.
